Oye, oh Jehová, una causa justa; está atento a mi clamor. Escucha mi oración hecha de labios sin engaño.

2 L et my sentence of vindication come from You! May Your eyes behold the things that are just and upright.

De tu presencia proceda mi vindicación; Vean tus ojos la rectitud.

3 Y ou have proved my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Tú has probado mi corazón, me has inspeccionado de noche; Me has puesto a prueba, y nada inicuo hallaste; He resuelto que mi boca no ha de propasarse.

4 C oncerning the works of men, by the word of Your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent (the paths of the destroyer).

En cuanto a las obras humanas, por la palabra de tus labios Yo me he guardado de las sendas de los violentos.

5 M y steps have held closely to Your paths; my feet have not slipped.

Sustenta mis pasos en tus caminos, Para que mis pies no resbalen.

6 I have called upon You, O God, for You will hear me; incline Your ear to me and hear my speech.

Yo te he invocado, por cuanto tú me oyes, oh Dios; Inclina a mí tu oído, escucha mi palabra.

7 S how Your marvelous loving-kindness, O You Who save by Your right hand those who trust and take refuge in You from those who rise up against them.

Muestra tus maravillosas misericordias, tú que salvas a los que se refugian a tu diestra, De los que se levantan contra ellos.

8 K eep and guard me as the pupil of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings

Guárdame como a la niña de tus ojos; Escóndeme bajo la sombra de tus alas,

9 F rom the wicked who despoil and oppress me, my deadly adversaries who surround me.

De la vista de los malos que me oprimen, De mis enemigos que buscan mi vida.

10 T hey are enclosed in their own prosperity and have shut up their hearts to pity; with their mouths they make exorbitant claims and proudly and arrogantly speak.

Envueltos están con su grosura; Con su boca hablan arrogantemente.

11 T hey track us down in each step we take; now they surround us; they set their eyes to cast us to the ground,

Han cercado ahora nuestros pasos; Tienen puestos sus ojos para echarnos por tierra.

12 L ike a lion greedy and eager to tear his prey, and as a young lion lurking in hidden places.

Son como león que desea hacer presa, Y como leoncillo que está en su escondite.

13 A rise, O Lord! Confront and forestall them, cast them down! Deliver my life from the wicked by Your sword,

Levántate, oh Jehová; Sal a su encuentro, póstrales; Libra mi alma de los malos con tu espada,

14 F rom men by Your hand, O Lord, from men of this world whose portion in life is idle and vain. Their bellies are filled with Your hidden treasure; their children are satiated, and they leave the rest wealth to their babes.

De los hombres con tu mano, oh Jehová, De los hombres mundanos, cuya porción la tienen en esta vida, Y cuyo vientre está lleno de bienes que tú les reservas. Sacian a sus hijos, Y aun sobra para sus pequeñuelos.

15 A s for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake beholding Your form.

En cuanto a mí, veré tu rostro en justicia; Al despertar, me saciaré de tu semblante.
