1 I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me.

Te ensalzaré, oh Jehová, porque me has puesto a salvo, Y no permitiste que mis enemigos se alegraran a costa mía.

2 O Lord my God, I cried to You and You have healed me.

Jehová Dios mío, A ti clamé, y me sanaste.

3 O Lord, You have brought my life up from Sheol (the place of the dead); You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit (the grave).

Oh Jehová, hiciste subir mi alma del Seol; Me hiciste revivir de entre los que descienden a la sepultura.

4 S ing to the Lord, O you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

Cantad a Jehová, vosotros sus santos, Y celebrad la memoria de su santidad.

5 F or His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime or in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Porque de un momento es su ira, Pero su favor dura toda la vida. Por la noche nos visita el llanto, Pero a la mañana viene la alegría.

6 A s for me, in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

En mi prosperidad dije yo: No seré jamás zarandeado,

7 B y Your favor, O Lord, You have established me as a strong mountain; You hid Your face, and I was troubled.

Porque tú, Jehová, con tu favor me afianzaste como monte fuerte. Pero escondiste tu rostro y quedé desconcertado.

8 I cried to You, O Lord, and to the Lord I made supplication.

A ti, oh Jehová, clamé, Y al Señor supliqué.

9 W hat profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit (the grave)? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth and faithfulness to men?

¿Qué provecho sacas de mi muerte cuando descienda a la sepultura? ¿Te alabará el polvo? ¿Anunciará tu verdad?

10 H ear, O Lord, have mercy and be gracious to me! O Lord, be my helper!

Escucha, oh Jehová, y ten misericordia de mí; Jehová, sé tú mi auxilio.

11 Y ou have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,

Has cambiado mi lamento en una danza; Desataste mi sayal, y me ceñiste de alegría.

12 T o the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

A fin de que mi alma te cante y no esté callada. Jehová Dios mío, te alabaré por siempre.
