1 O Lord, rebuke me not in Your wrath, neither chasten me in Your hot displeasure.

Jehová, no me reprendas en tu furor, Ni me castigues en tu ira.

2 F or Your arrows have sunk into me and stick fast, and Your hand has come down upon me and pressed me sorely.

Porque tus saetas se han clavado en mí, Y sobre mí está pesando tu mano.

3 T here is no soundness in my flesh because of Your indignation; neither is there any health or rest in my bones because of my sin.

Nada hay sano en mi carne, a causa de tu indignación; Ni hay reposo en mis huesos, a causa de mi pecado.

4 F or my iniquities have gone over my head; as a heavy burden they weigh too much for me.

Porque mis iniquidades han sobrepasado mi cabeza; Como carga pesada gravitan sobre mí.

5 M y wounds are loathsome and corrupt because of my foolishness.

Hieden y supuran mis llagas, A causa de mi locura.

6 I am bent and bowed down greatly; I go about mourning all the day long.

Estoy encorvado, estoy abatido en gran manera, Ando como enlutado todo el día.

7 F or my loins are filled with burning; and there is no soundness in my flesh.

Porque mis lomos están ardiendo de fiebre, Y nada hay sano en mi carne.

8 I am faint and sorely bruised; I groan by reason of the disquiet and moaning of my heart.

Estoy debilitado y molido en gran manera; Gimo a causa de la conmoción de mi corazón.

9 L ord, all my desire is before You; and my sighing is not hidden from You.

Señor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos, Y mi suspiro no te es oculto.

10 M y heart throbs, my strength fails me; as for the light of my eyes, it also is gone from me.

Mi corazón está acongojado, me ha dejado mi vigor, Y aun la luz de mis ojos me falta ya.

11 M y lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my neighbors and my near ones stand afar off.

Mis amigos y mis compañeros se mantienen lejos de mi llaga, Y mis allegados se han alejado.

12 T hey also that seek and demand my life lay snares for me, and they that seek and require my hurt speak crafty and mischievous things; they meditate treachery and deceit all the day long.

Los que buscan mi vida tienden lazos, Y los que procuran mi mal hablan iniquidades, Y maquinan engaños todo el día.

13 B ut I, like a deaf man, hear not; and I am like a dumb man who opens not his mouth.

Mas yo, como si fuera sordo, no oigo; Y soy como mudo que no abre la boca.

14 Y es, I have become like a man who hears not, in whose mouth are no arguments or replies.

Soy, pues, como un hombre que no oye, Y en cuya boca no hay respuestas.

15 F or in You, O Lord, do I hope; You will answer, O Lord my God.

Porque en ti, oh Jehová, he esperado; Tú responderás, Jehová Dios mío.

16 F or I pray, Let them not rejoice over me, who when my foot slips boast against me.

Dije: No se alegren de mí; Cuando mi pie resbale, no se engrandezcan sobre mí.

17 F or I am ready to halt and fall; my pain and sorrow are continually before me.

Porque yo estoy a punto de caer, Y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente.

18 F or I do confess my guilt and iniquity; I am filled with sorrow for my sin.

Por tanto, confieso mi maldad, Y me contrista mi pecado.

19 B ut my enemies are vigorous and strong, and those who hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

Porque mis enemigos son activos y poderosos, Y se han aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa.

20 T hey also that render evil for good are adversaries to me, because I follow the thing that is good.

Los que pagan mal por bien Me son contrarios, por seguir yo lo bueno.

21 F orsake me not, O Lord; O my God, be not far from me.

No me desampares, oh Jehová; Dios mío, no te alejes de mí.

22 M ake haste to help me, O Lord, my Salvation.

Apresúrate a ayudarme. Oh Señor, salvación mía.
