1 A nd you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince (ruler) of Rosh, of Meshech, and of Tubal.

Tú, pues, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog, y di: Así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo estoy contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe soberano de Mésec y Tubal.

2 A nd I will turn you about and will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north and will lead you against the mountains of Israel;

Y te haré dar media vuelta, y te conduciré y te haré subir de las más remotas partes del norte, y te traeré sobre los montes de Israel;

3 A nd I will smite your bow from your left hand and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.

y romperé tu arco en tu mano izquierda, y haré caer tus saetas de tu mano derecha.

4 Y ou shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your hosts and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

Sobre los montes de Israel caerás tú y todas tus tropas, y los pueblos que estén contigo; a las aves de rapiña de toda especie, y a las fieras del campo, te daré por comida.

5 Y ou shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken, says the Lord God.

Sobre la faz del campo caerás; porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.

6 I will send fire on Magog and upon those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord.

Y enviaré fuego sobre Magog, y sobre los que moran con seguridad en las islas; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

7 A nd I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name any more; and the nations shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

Y haré notorio mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel, y nunca más consentiré que sea profanado mi santo nombre; y sabrán las naciones que yo soy Jehová, el Santo en Israel.

8 B ehold, it is coming and it will be done, says the Lord God; that is the day of which I have spoken.

He aquí que esto llega y se va a cumplir, dice el Señor Jehová; éste es el día del cual he hablado.

9 A nd they who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and shall set on fire and burn the battle gear, the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the handspikes or riding whips and the spears; and they shall burn them as fuel for seven years,

Y los moradores de las ciudades de Israel saldrán a prender fuego y a entregar a las llamas las armas; escudos y paveses, arcos y saetas, mazas y lanzas; y los quemarán en el fuego por siete años.

10 S o that My people shall take no firewood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they shall make their fires of the weapons. And they shall despoil those who despoiled them and plunder those who plundered them, says the Lord God.

No traerán leña del campo, ni cortarán de los bosques, sino que quemarán las armas en el fuego; y despojarán a sus despojadores, y robarán a los que les robaron, dice el Señor Jehová.

11 A nd in that day, I will give to Gog a place for burial there in Israel, the valley of those who pass through on the east side in front of the Sea, and it will delay and stop those who pass through. And there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude, and they shall call it the Valley of Hamon-gog.

En aquel tiempo yo daré a Gog lugar para sepultura allí en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al oriente del mar; y obstruirá el paso a los transeúntes, pues allí enterrarán a Gog y a toda su multitud; y lo llamarán el Valle de Hamón-gog.

12 F or seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, that they may cleanse the land.

Y la casa de Israel los estará enterrando por siete meses, para limpiar la tierra.

13 Y es, all the people of the land will bury them, and it shall bring them renown in the day that I shall be glorified, says the Lord God.

Los enterrará todo el pueblo de la tierra, y será para ellos un motivo de renombre; el día en que yo seré glorificado, dice el Señor Jehová.

14 A nd they shall set apart men to work continually who shall pass through the land, men commissioned to bury, with the help of those who are passing by, those bodies that lie unburied on the face of the ground, in order to cleanse the land. After the end of seven months they shall make their search.

Y tomarán hombres a jornal que vayan continuamente por el país para enterrar, con ayuda de los que viajen, a los que queden sobre la faz de la tierra, a fin de limpiarla; al cabo de siete meses harán el reconocimiento.

15 A nd when these pass through the land and anyone sees a human bone, he shall set up a marker by it as a sign to the buriers, until they have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog or of Gog’s multitude.

Y cuando pasen los que viajen por el país, y alguien vea los huesos de algún hombre, pondrá junto a ellos una señal, hasta que los entierren los sepultureros en el valle de Hamón-gog.

16 A nd Hamonah shall also be the name of the city. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

Y también el nombre de la ciudad será Hamoná; así limpiarán la tierra.

17 A nd you, son of man, thus says the Lord God: Say to the birds of prey of every sort and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves and come, gather from every side to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, even a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel at which you may eat flesh and drink blood.

Y tú, hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor Jehová: Di a las aves de toda especie, y a toda fiera del campo: Juntaos, y venid; reuníos de todas partes al banquete que preparo para vosotros, un gran banquete sobre los montes de Israel; y comeréis carne y beberéis sangre.

18 Y ou shall eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, of goats, and of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

Comeréis carne de fuertes, y beberéis sangre de príncipes de la tierra; carneros, corderos, machos cabríos, bueyes y toros engordados de Basán son todos ellos.

19 A nd you shall eat fat till you are filled and drink blood till you are drunk at the sacrificial feast which I am preparing for you.

Comeréis la gordura hasta saciaros, y beberéis hasta embriagaros de sangre de las víctimas que para vosotros he preparado.

20 A nd you shall be filled at My table with horses and riders, with mighty men, and with soldiers of every kind, says the Lord God.

Y os saciaréis sobre mi mesa, de caballos y de jinetes, de hombres fuertes y de todos los hombres de guerra, dice el Señor Jehová.

21 A nd I will manifest My honor and glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see My judgment and justice which I have executed and My hand which I have laid on them.

Y pondré en alto mi gloria entre las naciones, y todas las naciones verán mi juicio que habré hecho, y mi mano con que los habré herido.

22 S o the house of Israel shall know, understand, and realize beyond all question that I am the Lord their God from that day forward.

Y de aquel día en adelante sabrá la casa de Israel que yo soy Jehová su Dios.

23 A nd the nations shall know, understand, and realize positively that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against Me; and I hid My face from them. So I gave them into the hand of their enemies and they all fell by the power of the sword.

Y sabrán las naciones que la casa de Israel fue llevada cautiva por su pecado, por cuanto me fueron infieles, y yo escondí de ellos mi rostro, y los entregué en manos de sus enemigos, y cayeron todos a espada.

24 A ccording to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I dealt with them and hid My face from them.

Conforme a su inmundicia y conforme a sus transgresiones hice con ellos, y escondí de ellos mi rostro.

25 T herefore thus says the Lord God: Now will I reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel and will be jealous for My holy name.

Por tanto, así dice el Señor Jehová: Ahora voy a hacer volver a los cautivos de Jacob, y tendré compasión de toda la casa de Israel, y me mostraré celoso por mi santo nombre.

26 T hey shall forget their shame and self-reproach and all their treachery and unfaithfulness in which they have transgressed against Me, when they dwell securely in their land and there is none who makes them afraid.

Y ellos llevarán sobre sí su vergüenza, y toda su infidelidad con que prevaricaron contra mí, cuando habiten en su tierra con seguridad y no haya quien los espante;

27 W hen I have brought them again from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and My justice and holiness are set apart and vindicated through them in the sight of many nations,

cuando yo los haya traído de entre los pueblos, y los haya recogido de la tierra de sus enemigos, y sea santificado en ellos ante los ojos de muchas naciones.

28 T hen shall they know, understand, and realize positively that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into captivity and exile among the nations and then gathered them to their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations any more.

Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios, cuando, después de haberlos llevado al cautiverio entre las naciones, los reúna sobre su tierra, sin dejar allí a ninguno de ellos.

29 N either will I hide My face any more then from them, when I have poured out My Spirit upon the house of Israel, says the Lord God.

Y no esconderé más de ellos mi rostro; porque habré derramado de mi Espíritu sobre la casa de Israel, dice el Señor Jehová.
