7 S allu, Amok, Hilkiah, and Jedaiah. These were the heads of the religious leaders and their brothers in the days of Jeshua.

Салу, Амок, Хелкия и Едаия. Тия бяха началниците на свещениците и на братята им в дните на Исуса.

8 T he Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who with his brothers was over the songs of giving thanks.

9 B akbukiah and Unni, their brothers, stood beside them in their work.

10 J eshua was the father of Joiakim. Joiakim was the father of Eliashib. Eliashib was the father of Joiada.

11 J oiada was the father of Jonathan. Jonathan was the father of Jaddua.

12 I n the days of Joiakim the religious leader, these were the heads of the family groups: Meraiah of Seraiah, Hananiah of Jeremiah,

А в дните на Иоакима свещеници, <които бяха и> началници на бащини <домове>, бяха: <началник на бащиния дом> на Сераия, Мераия; на Еремия, Анания;

13 M eshullam of Ezra, Jehohanan of Amariah,

22 A s for the Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan, and Jaddua, the heads of the family groups were written down. So were the religious leaders in the rule of Darius the Persian.

В дните на Елиасива, Иодая, Иоанана и Ядуа левитите бяха записани за началници на бащини <домове>; също и свещениците през царуването на персиеца Дарий.

23 T he sons of Levi, the heads of the family groups, were written down in the Book of the Chronicles until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

Левийците, <които бяха> началници на бащини <домове>, бяха записани в Книгата на летописите, дори до дните на Иоанана Елиасивовия син.

24 T he heads of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brothers beside them. Each group praised and gave thanks, as David the man of God had told them.

А началниците на левитите бяха: Асавия, Серевия и Исус Кадмииловият син, с братята им срещу тях, <назначени> да хвалят и песнословят според заповедта на Божия човек Давида, <ответно> едни срещу други {Еврейски: Стража срещу стража.}.

25 M attaniah, Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were gate-keepers. They watched at the store-houses of the gates.

Матания, Ваквукия, Авдия, Месулам, Талмон и Акув бяха вратари, и пазеха стражата на влагалищата при портите.

26 T hese men worked in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the ruler and of Ezra the religious leader and writer. Nehemiah Sets Apart the Jerusalem Wall for God

Тия бяха в дните на Иоакима син на Исуса, син на Иоседека, и в дните на областния управител Неемия, и на свещеник Ездра книжникът.

27 A t the special time to praise God for the wall of Jerusalem, they looked for all the Levites in the places where they lived and brought them to Jerusalem so they might join them at this special time with happiness. They sang songs of thanks and other songs as timbrels and harps were played.

И при посвещаването на ерусалимската стена потърсиха левитите по всичките им места, за да ги доведат в Ерусалим да празнуват посвещението с веселие, със славословия и песни, с кимвали, псалтири и арфи.

28 S o the sons of the singers were gathered from the land around Jerusalem, from the villages of the Nethophathites,

29 f rom Beth-gilgal, and from their fields in Geba and Azmaveth. For the singers had built villages for themselves around Jerusalem.

30 T he religious leaders and the Levites made themselves holy, and they made the people, the gates, and the wall holy.

И свещениците и левитите, като очистиха себе си, очистиха и людете, портите и стената.

31 T hen I had the leaders of Judah come up on top of the wall. And I picked two large groups of singers to give thanks. One group was to go to the right on top of the wall to the Waste Gate.

Тогава изкачих Юдовите началници на стената, и определих две големи <отделения> хвалители; <едното> отиваше в шествие на дясно върху стената към портата на бунището;

32 H oshaiah and half of the leaders of Judah followed them,

и подир тях вървяха Осаия, и половината от Юдовите първенци

33 w ith Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,

и Азария, Ездра, Меулам,

34 J udah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, Jeremiah,

Юда, Вениамин, Семаия и Еремия,

35 a nd some of the sons of the religious leaders blowing horns. Then followed Zechariah the son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph,

и някои от синовете на свещениците с тръби: Захария син на Ионатана, син на Семаия, син на Матания, син на Михея, син на Закхура, син на Асафа,

36 a nd his brothers, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, and Hanani, with the objects that David the man of God had made for playing music. And Ezra the writer went before them.

и братята му: Семаия, Азареил Милалай, Гилалай, Маай, Натанаил, Юда и Ананий, с музикалните инструменти на Божия човек Давида; и книжника Ездра им беше на чело;

37 A t the Well Gate they went straight up the steps of the city of David, by the steps of the wall above the house of David, to the Water Gate on the east.

и при портата на извора те се изкачиха направо пред себе си по стъпалата на Давидовия град, гдето стената се възвишава над Давидовата къща, дори до портата на водата към изток.

38 T he second group went to the left. I followed them with half of the people on the wall, above the Tower of Stoves, to the Wide Wall.

А другото отделение хвалители вървеше в противоположна посока, и аз подир тях, тоже и половината от людете, по стената, край кулата на пещите и по широката стена,

39 T hey went above the Gate of Ephraim, by the Old Gate, the Fish Gate, the Tower of Hananel, and the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Sheep Gate. And they stopped at the Gate of the Watchmen.

и над Ефремовата порта, и над старата порта, и над рибната порта, и край кулата Ананеил, и край кулата Мея, до овчата порта, докле застанаха в портата на стражата.

40 T hen the two groups stood in the house of God. So did I and half of the leaders with me,

Така двете отделения хвалители застанаха в Божия дом, и аз, и половината от видните мъже с мене,

41 a nd the religious leaders, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with the horns,

и свещениците Елиаким, Маасия, Миниамин, Михей, Елиоинай, Захария и Анания, с тръби,

42 a nd Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang with Jezrahiah as their leader.

както и Маасия, Семаия, Елеазар, Озий, Иоанан, Малхия, Елам и Езер. И певците запяха със силен глас, с Езраия за водител.

43 O n that day they gave many good gifts and were glad because God had given them great joy. Even the women and children were filled with joy, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard from far away.

И в същия ден принесоха големи жертви и се развеселиха, защото Бог ги развесели премного; още жените и децата се развеселиха; тъй че увеселението на Ерусалим се разчу надалеч.

44 O n that day men were chosen for the work of the store-rooms for the gifts, the first-fruits, and the tenth part for the Lord. They were to gather into them from the fields near the towns what was to be given by the Law to the religious leaders and Levites. For Judah was filled with joy because of the religious leaders and Levites who did the work.

Тоже в същия ден се определиха човеци над стаите за влагалищата, за приносите, за първите плодове, и за десетъците, за да събират в тях от полетата на градовете дяловете узаконени за свещениците и левитите; защото Юда се радваше поради свещениците и левитите, които служеха.

45 T hey did the work of their God and the work of making everything clean from sin, together with the singers and the gate-keepers. They did as David and his son Solomon had told them.

Защото те и певците и вратарите пазеха заръчаното от Бога си, и заръчаното за очищението, според заповедта на Давида и сина му Соломона.

46 F or in the days of David and Asaph, long ago, there were leaders of the singers, and songs of praise and thanks to God.

Защото отдавна, в дните на Давида и на Асафа, <имаше> главни певци и пеения за хвала и благодарение Богу.

47 S o all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah gave what was to be given to the singers and gate-keepers each day. They set apart what was for the Levites. And the Levites set apart what was for the sons of Aaron.

И в дните на Зоровавела и в дните на Неемия, целият Израил даваха определените за всеки ден дялове на певците и на вратарите; те посвещаваха <даровете си> на левитите, а левитите посвещаваха на Аароновите потомци.
