1 Ж ребий колену сынов Иудиных, по племенам их, выпал такой: в смежности с Идумеею была пустыня Син, к югу, при конце Фемана;

Now the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah according to their families reached the border of Edom, southward to the wilderness of Zin at the extreme south.

2 ю жным пределом их был край моря Соленого от простирающегося к югу залива;

Their south border was from the lower end of the Salt Sea, from the bay that turns to the south.

3 н а юге идет он к возвышенности Акраввимской, проходит Цин и, восходя с южной стороны к Кадес-Варне, проходит Хецрон и, восходя до Аддара, поворачивает к Каркае,

Then it proceeded southward to the ascent of Akrabbim and continued to Zin, then went up by the south of Kadesh-barnea and continued to Hezron, and went up to Addar and turned about to Karka.

4 п отом проходит Ацмон, идет к потоку Египетскому, так что конец сего предела есть море. Сей будет южный ваш предел.

It continued to Azmon and proceeded to the brook of Egypt, and the border ended at the sea. This shall be your south border.

5 П ределом же к востоку море Соленое, до устья Иордана; а предел с северной стороны от залива моря, от устья Иордана;

The east border was the Salt Sea, as far as the mouth of the Jordan. And the border of the north side was from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan.

6 о тсюда предел восходит к Беф-Хогле и проходит с северной стороны к Беф-Араве, и идет предел вверх до камня Богана, сына Рувимова;

Then the border went up to Beth-hoglah, and continued on the north of Beth-arabah, and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.

7 п отом восходит предел к Давиру от долины Ахор и на севере поворачивает к Галгалу, который против возвышенности Адуммима, лежащего с южной стороны потока; отсюда предел проходит к водам Ен-Шемеша и оканчивается у Ен-Рогела;

The border went up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and turned northward toward Gilgal which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south of the valley; and the border continued to the waters of En-shemesh and it ended at En-rogel.

8 о тсюда предел идет вверх к долине сына Енномова с южной стороны Иевуса, который Иерусалим, и восходит предел на вершину горы, которая к западу против долины Енномовой, которая на краю долины Рефаимов к северу;

Then the border went up the valley of Ben-hinnom to the slope of the Jebusite on the south (that is, Jerusalem); and the border went up to the top of the mountain which is before the valley of Hinnom to the west, which is at the end of the valley of Rephaim toward the north.

9 о т вершины горы предел поворачивает к источнику вод Нефтоах и идет к городам горы Ефрона, и поворачивает предел к Ваалу, который Кириаф-Иарим;

From the top of the mountain the border curved to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah and proceeded to the cities of Mount Ephron, then the border curved to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).

10 п отом поворачивает предел от Ваала к морю к горе Сеиру, и идет северною стороною горы Иеарим, которая Кесалон, и, нисходя к Вефсамису, проходит чрез Фимну;

The border turned about from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and continued to the slope of Mount Jearim on the north (that is, Chesalon), and went down to Beth-shemesh and continued through Timnah.

11 о тсюда предел идет северною стороною Екрона, и поворачивает предел к Шикарону, проходит чрез гору Ваал и доходит до Иавнеила, и оканчивается предел у моря. Западный предел составляет великое море.

The border proceeded to the side of Ekron northward. Then the border curved to Shikkeron and continued to Mount Baalah and proceeded to Jabneel, and the border ended at the sea.

12 В от предел сынов Иудиных с племенами их со всех сторон.

The west border was at the Great Sea, even its coastline. This is the border around the sons of Judah according to their families.

13 И Халеву, сыну Иефонниину, дал часть среди сынов Иудиных, как повелел Господь Иисусу; Кириаф-Арбы, отца Енакова, иначе Хеврон.

Now he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the sons of Judah, according to the command of the Lord to Joshua, namely, Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron).

14 И выгнал оттуда Халев трех сынов Енаковых: Шешая, Ахимана и Фалмая, детей Енаковых.

Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak.

15 О тсюда пошел против жителей Давира (имя Давиру прежде Кириаф-Сефер).

Then he went up from there against the inhabitants of Debir; now the name of Debir formerly was Kiriath-sepher.

16 И сказал Халев: кто поразит Кириаф-Сефер и возьмет его, тому отдам Ахсу, дочь мою, в жену.

And Caleb said, “The one who attacks Kiriath-sepher and captures it, I will give him Achsah my daughter as a wife.”

17 И взял его Гофониил, сын Кеназа, брата Халевова, и отдал он в жену ему Ахсу, дочь свою.

Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it; so he gave him Achsah his daughter as a wife.

18 К огда надлежало ей идти, ее научили просить у отца ее поле, и она сошла с осла. Халев сказал ей: что тебе?

It came about that when she came to him, she persuaded him to ask her father for a field. So she alighted from the donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want?”

19 О на сказала: дай мне благословение; ты дал мне землю полуденную, дай мне и источники вод. И дал он ей источники верхние и источники нижние.

Then she said, “Give me a blessing; since you have given me the land of the Negev, give me also springs of water.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

20 В от удел колена сынов Иудиных, по племенам их:

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah according to their families.

21 г орода с края колена сынов Иудиных в смежности с Идумеею на юге были: Кавцеил, Едер и Иагур,

Now the cities at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah toward the border of Edom in the south were Kabzeel and Eder and Jagur,

22 К ина, Димона, Адада,

and Kinah and Dimonah and Adadah,

23 К едес, Асор и Ифнан,

and Kedesh and Hazor and Ithnan,

24 З иф, Телем и Валоф,

Ziph and Telem and Bealoth,

25 Г ацор-Хадафа, Кириаф, Хецрон, иначе Гацор,

and Hazor-hadattah and Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor),

26 А мам, Шема и Молада,

Amam and Shema and Moladah,

27 Х ацар-Гадда, Хешмон и Веф-Палет,

and Hazar-gaddah and Heshmon and Beth-pelet,

28 Х ацар-Шуал, Вирсавия и Визиофея,

and Hazar-shual and Beersheba and Biziothiah,

29 В аала, Иим и Ацем,

Baalah and Iim and Ezem,

30 Е лфолад, Кесил и Хорма,

and Eltolad and Chesil and Hormah,

31 Ц иклаг, Мадмана и Сансана,

and Ziklag and Madmannah and Sansannah,

32 Л еваоф, Шелихим, Аин и Риммон: всех двадцать девять городов с их селами.

and Lebaoth and Shilhim and Ain and Rimmon; in all, twenty-nine cities with their villages.

33 Н а низменных местах: Ештаол, Цора и Ашна,

In the lowland: Eshtaol and Zorah and Ashnah,

34 З аноах, Ен-Ганним, Таппуах и Гаенам,

and Zanoah and En-gannim, Tappuah and Enam,

35 И армуф, Одоллам, Сохо и Азека,

Jarmuth and Adullam, Socoh and Azekah,

36 Ш аараим, Адифаим, Гедера или Гедерофаим: четырнадцать городов с их селами.

and Shaaraim and Adithaim and Gederah and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages.

37 Ц енан, Хадаша, Мигдал-Гад,

Zenan and Hadashah and Migdal-gad,

38 Д илеан, Мицфе и Иокфеил,

and Dilean and Mizpeh and Joktheel,

39 Л ахис, Воцкаф и Еглон,

Lachish and Bozkath and Eglon,

40 Х аббон, Лахмас и Хифлис,

and Cabbon and Lahmas and Chitlish,

41 Г едероф, Беф-Дагон, Наема и Макед: шестнадцать городов с их селами.

and Gederoth, Beth-dagon and Naamah and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages.

42 Л ивна, Ефер и Ашан,

Libnah and Ether and Ashan,

43 И ффах, Ашна и Нецив,

and Iphtah and Ashnah and Nezib,

44 К еила, Ахзив и Мареша: девять городов с их селами.

and Keilah and Achzib and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages.

45 Е крон с зависящими от него и селами его,

Ekron, with its towns and its villages;

46 и от Екрона к морю все, что находится около Азота, с селами их,

from Ekron even to the sea, all that were by the side of Ashdod, with their villages.

47 А зот, зависящие от него города и села его, Газа, зависящие от нее города и села ее, до самого потока Египетского и великого моря, которое предел.

Ashdod, its towns and its villages; Gaza, its towns and its villages; as far as the brook of Egypt and the Great Sea, even its coastline.

48 Н а горах: Шамир, Иаттир и Сохо,

In the hill country: Shamir and Jattir and Socoh,

49 Д анна, Кириаф-Санна, иначе Давир,

and Dannah and Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir),

50 А наф, Ештемо и Аним,

and Anab and Eshtemoh and Anim,

51 Г ошен, Холон и Гило: одиннадцать городов с их селами.

and Goshen and Holon and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages.

52 А рав, Дума и Ешан,

Arab and Dumah and Eshan,

53 И анум, Беф-Таппуах и Афека,

and Janum and Beth-tappuah and Aphekah,

54 Х умта, Кириаф-Арбы, иначе Хеврон, и Цигор: девять городов с их селами.

and Humtah and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior; nine cities with their villages.

55 М аон, Кармил, Зиф и Юта,

Maon, Carmel and Ziph and Juttah,

56 И зреель, Иокдам и Заноах,

and Jezreel and Jokdeam and Zanoah,

57 К аин, Гива и Фимна: десять городов с их селами.

Kain, Gibeah and Timnah; ten cities with their villages.

58 Х алхул, Беф-Цур и Гедор,

Halhul, Beth-zur and Gedor,

59 М аараф, Беф-Аноф и Елтекон: шесть городов с их селами.

and Maarath and Beth-anoth and Eltekon; six cities with their villages.

60 К ириаф-Ваал, иначе Кириаф-Иарим, и Аравва: два города с их селами.

Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah; two cities with their villages.

61 В пустыне: Беф-Арава, Миддин и Секаха,

In the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin and Secacah,

62 Н ившан, Ир-Мелах и Ен-Геди: шесть городов с их селами.

and Nibshan and the City of Salt and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

63 Н о Иевусеев, жителей Иерусалима, не могли изгнать сыны Иудины, и потому Иевусеи живут с сынами Иуды в Иерусалиме даже до сего дня.

Now as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not drive them out; so the Jebusites live with the sons of Judah at Jerusalem until this day.
