1 Б ратия! желание моего сердца и молитва к Богу об Израиле во спасение.

Brethren, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.

2 И бо свидетельствую им, что имеют ревность по Боге, но не по рассуждению.

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.

3 И бо, не разумея праведности Божией и усиливаясь поставить собственную праведность, они не покорились праведности Божией,

For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

4 п отому что конец закона--Христос, к праведности всякого верующего.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

5 М оисей пишет о праведности от закона: исполнивший его человек жив будет им.

For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness.

6 А праведность от веры так говорит: не говори в сердце твоем: кто взойдет на небо? то есть Христа свести.

But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “ Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven ?’ (that is, to bring Christ down),

7 И ли кто сойдет в бездну? то есть Христа из мертвых возвести.

or ‘ Who will descend into the abyss ?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”

8 Н о что говорит Писание? Близко к тебе слово, в устах твоих и в сердце твоем, то есть слово веры, которое проповедуем.

But what does it say? “ The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart ”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

9 И бо если устами твоими будешь исповедывать Иисуса Господом и сердцем твоим веровать, что Бог воскресил Его из мертвых, то спасешься,

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

10 п отому что сердцем веруют к праведности, а устами исповедуют ко спасению.

for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

11 И бо Писание говорит: всякий, верующий в Него, не постыдится.

For the Scripture says, “ Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”

12 З десь нет различия между Иудеем и Еллином, потому что один Господь у всех, богатый для всех, призывающих Его.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;

13 И бо всякий, кто призовет имя Господне, спасется.

for “ Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 Н о как призывать, в Кого не уверовали? как веровать, о Ком не слыхали? как слышать без проповедующего?

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?

15 И как проповедывать, если не будут посланы? как написано: как прекрасны ноги благовествующих мир, благовествующих благое!

How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “ How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

16 Н о не все послушались благовествования. Ибо Исаия говорит: Господи! кто поверил слышанному от нас?

However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “ Lord, who has believed our report ?”

17 И так вера от слышания, а слышание от слова Божия.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

18 Н о спрашиваю: разве они не слышали? Напротив, по всей земле прошел голос их, и до пределов вселенной слова их.

But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; “ Their voice has gone out into all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.”

19 Е ще спрашиваю: разве Израиль не знал? Но первый Моисей говорит: Я возбужу в вас ревность не народом, раздражу вас народом несмысленным.

But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, “ I will make you jealous by that which is not a nation, By a nation without understanding will I anger you.”

20 А Исаия смело говорит: Меня нашли не искавшие Меня; Я открылся не вопрошавшим о Мне.

And Isaiah is very bold and says, “ I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became manifest to those who did not ask for Me.”

21 О б Израиле же говорит: целый день Я простирал руки Мои к народу непослушному и упорному.

But as for Israel He says, “ All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
