1 И сказал Господь Моисею: объяви священникам, сынам Аароновым, и скажи им: да не оскверняют себя к умершему из народа своего;

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: ‘ No one shall defile himself for a dead person among his people,

2 т олько к ближнему родственнику своему, к матери своей и к отцу своему, к сыну своему и дочери своей, к брату своему

except for his relatives who are nearest to him, his mother and his father and his son and his daughter and his brother,

3 и к сестре своей, девице, живущей при нем и не бывшей замужем, можно ему, не оскверняя себя;

also for his virgin sister, who is near to him because she has had no husband; for her he may defile himself.

4 и к кому бы то ни было в народе своем не должен он осквернять себя, чтобы не сделаться нечистым.

He shall not defile himself as a relative by marriage among his people, and so profane himself.

5 О ни не должны брить головы своей и подстригать края бороды своей и делать нарезы на теле своем.

They shall not make any baldness on their heads, nor shave off the edges of their beards, nor make any cuts in their flesh.

6 О ни должны быть святы Богу своему и не должны бесчестить имени Бога своего, ибо они приносят жертвы Господу, хлеб Богу своему, и потому должны быть святы.

They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they present the offerings by fire to the Lord, the food of their God; so they shall be holy.

7 О ни не должны брать за себя блудницу и опороченную, не должны брать и жену, отверженную мужем своим, ибо они святы Богу своему.

They shall not take a woman who is profaned by harlotry, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for he is holy to his God.

8 С вяти его, ибо он приносит хлеб Богу твоему: да будет он у тебя свят, ибо свят Я Господь, освящающий вас.

You shall consecrate him, therefore, for he offers the food of your God; he shall be holy to you; for I the Lord, who sanctifies you, am holy.

9 Е сли дочь священника осквернит себя блудодеянием, то она бесчестит отца своего; огнем должно сжечь ее.

Also the daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by harlotry, she profanes her father; she shall be burned with fire.

10 В еликий же священник из братьев своих, на голову которого возлит елей помазания, и который освящен, чтобы облачаться в одежды, не должен обнажать головы своей и раздирать одежд своих;

‘The priest who is the highest among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil has been poured and who has been consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

11 и ни к какому умершему не должен он приступать: даже отцу своему и матери своей он не должен осквернять себя.

nor shall he approach any dead person, nor defile himself even for his father or his mother;

12 И от святилища он не должен отходить и бесчестить святилище Бога своего, ибо освящение елеем помазания Бога его на нем. Я Господь.

nor shall he go out of the sanctuary nor profane the sanctuary of his God, for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is on him; I am the Lord.

13 В жену он должен брать девицу.

He shall take a wife in her virginity.

14 в дову, или отверженную, или опороченную, блудницу, не должен он брать, но девицу из народа своего должен он брать в жену;

A widow, or a divorced woman, or one who is profaned by harlotry, these he may not take; but rather he is to marry a virgin of his own people,

15 о н не должен порочить семени своего в народе своем, ибо Я Господь, освящающий его.

so that he will not profane his offspring among his people; for I am the Lord who sanctifies him.’”

16 И сказал Господь Моисею, говоря:

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

17 с кажи Аарону: никто из семени твоего во роды их, у которого будет недостаток, не должен приступать, чтобы приносить хлеб Богу своему;

“Speak to Aaron, saying, ‘No man of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect shall approach to offer the food of his God.

18 н икто, у кого на теле есть недостаток, не должен приступать, ни слепой, ни хромой, ни уродливый,

For no one who has a defect shall approach: a blind man, or a lame man, or he who has a disfigured face, or any deformed limb,

19 н и такой, у которого переломлена нога или переломлена рука,

or a man who has a broken foot or broken hand,

20 н и горбатый, ни с сухим членом, ни с бельмом на глазу, ни коростовый, ни паршивый, ни с поврежденными ятрами;

or a hunchback or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye or eczema or scabs or crushed testicles.

21 н и один человек из семени Аарона священника, у которого есть недостаток, не должен приступать, чтобы приносить жертвы Господу; недостаток, поэтому не должен он приступать, чтобы приносить хлеб Богу своему;

No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to offer the Lord’s offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the food of his God.

22 х леб Бога своего из великих святынь и из святынь он может есть;

He may eat the food of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy,

23 н о к завесе не должен он приходить и к жертвеннику не должен приступать, потому что недостаток на нем: не должен он бесчестить святилища Моего, ибо Я Господь, освящающий их.

only he shall not go in to the veil or come near the altar because he has a defect, so that he will not profane My sanctuaries. For I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

24 И объявил Моисей Аарону и сынам его и всем сынам Израилевым.

So Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel.
