1 I looked up again and saw four war-wagons coming out from between the two mountains. The mountains were made of brass.

De nuevo alcé mis ojos y miré, y he aquí cuatro carros que salían de entre dos montes; y aquellos montes eran de bronce.

2 T he first war-wagon had red horses. The second war-wagon had black horses.

En el primer carro había caballos alazanes, en el segundo carro, caballos negros,

3 T he third war-wagon had white horses, and the fourth war-wagon had strong horses with spots.

en el tercer carro, caballos blancos, y en el cuarto carro, caballos tordos vigorosos.

4 T hen I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?”

Tomé entonces la palabra y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: Señor mío, ¿qué es esto?

5 T he angel said to me, “These are the four spirits of heaven, going away from standing before the Lord of All the earth.

Y el ángel me respondió y me dijo: Éstos son los cuatro vientos de los cielos, que salen de presentarse delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

6 T he war-wagon with the black horses is going toward the north country. The white ones follow them. And the horses with spots go toward the south country.

El carro con los caballos negros salía hacia la tierra del norte, y los blancos salieron tras ellos, y los tordos salieron hacia la tierra del sur.

7 W hen the strong horses went out, they were in a hurry to look over all the earth.” And he said, “Go, look over all the earth.” So they went over the whole earth.

Y los alazanes salieron y se afanaron por ir a recorrer la tierra. Y dijo: Id, recorred la tierra. Y recorrieron la tierra.

8 T hen he called to me, “See, those who are going to the land of the north have given My Spirit rest in the north country.” The Crown on Joshua

Luego me llamó, y me habló diciendo: Mira, los que salieron hacia la tierra del norte han aplacado mi Espíritu en la tierra del norte. Coronación simbólica de Josué

9 T he Word of the Lord came to me saying,

Vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

10 “ Take the gifts from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have returned from Babylon. And go the same day to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah.

Toma ofrendas de los del cautiverio a Helday, a Tobías y a Jedaías; e irás tú en aquel día, y entrarás en casa de Josías hijo de Sofonías, a la que han llegado desde Babilonia.

11 T ake the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the head religious leader.

Tomarás, pues, plata y oro, y harás coronas, y pondrás una en la cabeza del sumo sacerdote Josué, hijo de Josadac.

12 T hen tell him, ‘The Lord of All says, “See, the man whose name is the Branch, for He will branch out from where He is. And He will build the house of the Lord.

Y le hablarás, diciendo: Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí el varón cuyo nombre es el Retoño, el cual retoñará de su lugar, y edificará el templo de Jehová.

13 Y es, He is the One Who will build the house of the Lord. He will be honored as King, and sit and rule on His throne. And He will be a religious leader on His throne, and there will be peace between the two.”’

Él edificará el templo de Jehová, y él llevará las insignias reales, y se sentará y dominará en su trono, y habrá un sacerdote junto a su solio; y consejo de paz habrá entre ambos.

14 T he crown will be in the Lord’s house, that people may remember Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen the son of Zephaniah.

Las coronas servirán a Helem, a Tobías, a Jedaías y a Hen hijo de Sofonías, como memorial en el templo de Jehová.

15 T hose who are far away will come to build the house of the Lord. Then you will know that the Lord of All has sent me to you. This will happen if you are careful to obey the Lord your God.”

Y los que están lejos vendrán y ayudarán a edificar el templo de Jehová, y conoceréis que Jehová de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros. Y esto sucederá si escucháis obedientes la voz de Jehová vuestro Dios.
