1 “ On that day a well of water will be opened for the family of David and for the people of Jerusalem to make them clean from their sin.

En aquel tiempo habrá un manantial abierto para la casa de David y para los habitantes de Jerusalén, para la purificación del pecado y de la inmundicia.

2 “ On that day,” says the Lord of All, “I will destroy the names of the false gods from the land. They will no longer be remembered. And I will take away from the land those who tell what will happen in the future and the unclean spirit.

Y en aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, quitaré de la tierra los nombres de las imágenes, y nunca más serán recordados; y también haré cortar de la tierra a los profetas y al espíritu de inmundicia.

3 I f anyone still tells what will happen in the future, his father and mother who gave birth to him will tell him, ‘You must not live, because you have lied in the name of the Lord.’ And his father and mother who gave birth to him will kill him when he speaks false words.

Y acontecerá que si alguno profetiza todavía, le dirán su padre y su madre que lo engendraron: No vivirás, porque has hablado mentira en el nombre de Jehová; y su padre y su madre que lo engendraron le traspasarán mientras esté profetizando.

4 O n that day those who tell what will happen in the future will each be ashamed of his special dream when he speaks. He will not put on clothing made from hair to fool the people.

Y sucederá en aquel tiempo, que todos los profetas se avergonzarán de su visión cuando profeticen; ni nunca más vestirán el manto velloso para mentir.

5 B ut he will say, ‘I am not a man who speaks for God. I am a farmer. A man sold me as a servant when I was young.’

Sino que dirán: No soy profeta; soy labrador de la tierra, pues he estado en el campo como jornalero para un amo desde mi juventud.

6 I f someone asks him, ‘What are these sores on your back?’ he will answer, ‘They are the sores I received in the house of my friends.’ The Shepherd Who Saves

Y le preguntarán: ¿Qué heridas son ésas entre tus manos? Y él responderá: Con ellas fui herido en casa de mis amigos. El pastor de Jehová es herido

7 “ Wake up, O sword, against My shepherd and against the man who is close to Me,” says the Lord of All. “Kill the shepherd, and the sheep will go everywhere. And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

Despierta, oh espada, contra mi pastor, y contra el hombre compañero mío, dice Jehová de los ejércitos. Hiere al pastor, y serán dispersadas las ovejas; y haré volver mi mano contra los pequeñitos.

8 I n the whole land,” says the Lord, “two-thirds will die, but one-third will be left alive.

Y acontecerá en toda la tierra, dice Jehová, que dos terceras partes serán cortadas en ella, y perecerán; mas la tercera quedará en ella.

9 A nd I will bring the third part through the fire. I will make them pure like silver is made pure. I will test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

Y meteré en el fuego a la tercera parte, y los fundiré como se funde la plata, y los probaré como se prueba el oro. Él invocará mi nombre, y yo le escucharé, y diré: Es mi pueblo; y él dirá: Jehová es mi Dios.
