1 T he Lord said to Moses and Aaron,

Habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

2 “ When a man has a sore spot on his skin, an open sore or a bright spot, and it becomes a bad skin disease, he should be brought to the religious leader, to Aaron or one of his sons.

Cuando el hombre tenga en la piel de su cuerpo hinchazón, o erupción, o mancha blanca, y haya en la piel de su cuerpo como llaga de lepra, será traído a Aarón el sacerdote o a uno de sus hijos los sacerdotes.

3 T he religious leader will look at the mark on his skin of the body. If the hair in the spot has become white and the disease looks deeper than his skin, it is a bad skin disease. The religious leader will look at him, and will say that he is unclean.

Y el sacerdote mirará la llaga en la piel del cuerpo; si el pelo en la llaga se ha vuelto blanco, y parece la llaga más profunda que la piel de la carne, llaga de lepra es; y el sacerdote le reconocerá, y le declarará inmundo.

4 B ut the spot may be white on his skin, and not seem to be deeper than the skin, and the hair on it not white. Then the religious leader will keep the sick man away from other people for seven days.

Y si en la piel de su cuerpo hay mancha blanca, pero que no parece más profunda que la piel, ni el pelo se ha vuelto blanco, entonces el sacerdote encerrará al llagado por siete días.

5 T he religious leader will look at him on the seventh day. If he finds that the disease has not changed and has not spread on the skin, the religious leader will keep him away from other people for seven more days.

Y al séptimo día el sacerdote lo mirará; y si la llaga conserva el mismo aspecto, no habiéndose extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote le volverá a encerrar por otros siete días.

6 T he religious leader will look at him again on the seventh day. If the spot is not as bright and has not spread on the skin, the religious leader will say he is clean. It is only what is left of a sore. He will wash his clothes and be clean.

Y al séptimo día el sacerdote le reconocerá de nuevo; y si parece haberse oscurecido la llaga, y que no ha cundido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará limpio: era erupción; y lavará sus vestidos, y será limpio.

7 “ But if what is left of the sore spreads farther on the skin, after he has been seen by the religious leader as being clean, he must show himself to the religious leader again.

Pero si se ha extendido la erupción en la piel después que él se mostró al sacerdote para ser limpio, deberá mostrarse otra vez al sacerdote.

8 A nd the religious leader will look, and if the sore has spread on the skin, the religious leader will say that he is unclean. It is a bad skin disease.

Y si reconociéndolo el sacerdote ve que la erupción se ha extendido en la piel, lo declarará inmundo: es lepra. Lepra arraigada

9 “ When a man has a bad skin disease, he will be brought to the religious leader.

Cuando haya llaga de lepra en el hombre, será traído al sacerdote.

10 T he religious leader will look at it. If there is a white sore on the skin that has made the hair white, and there are open sores growing on the flesh,

Y éste lo mirará, y si aparece tumor blanco en la piel, el cual haya mudado el color del pelo, y se descubre asimismo la carne viva,

11 i t is an old and deep skin disease on his body. The religious leader will say he is unclean. He will not keep him away from others, for he already is unclean.

es lepra crónica en la piel de su cuerpo; y le declarará inmundo el sacerdote, y no le encerrará, porque es inmundo.

12 B ut the disease may spread farther on the skin, and cover all the skin of him who has the disease from head to foot, everywhere the religious leader looks.

Mas si brota la lepra cundiendo por la piel, de modo que cubra toda la piel del llagado desde la cabeza hasta sus pies, hasta donde pueda ver el sacerdote,

13 I f the religious leader sees that the skin disease has covered all his body, he will say he is clean from the disease, because the skin has all become white and he is clean.

entonces éste le reconocerá; y si la lepra ha cubierto todo su cuerpo, declarará limpio al llagado; toda ella se ha vuelto blanca, y él es limpio.

14 B ut when open sores in the flesh show on him, he will be unclean.

Mas el día que aparezca en él la carne viva, será inmundo.

15 T he religious leader will look at the open sores in the flesh, and he will say he is unclean. The open sores in the flesh are unclean. It is a bad skin disease.

Y el sacerdote mirará la carne viva, y lo declarará inmundo. Es inmunda la carne viva; es lepra.

16 I f the flesh with open sores changes again and becomes white, he will come to the religious leader.

Mas cuando la carne viva cambie y se vuelva blanca, entonces vendrá al sacerdote,

17 I f the religious leader sees that the disease has become white, the religious leader will say that he who had the disease is clean; he is clean.

y el sacerdote mirará; y si la llaga se ha vuelto blanca, el sacerdote declarará limpio al que tenía la llaga, y será limpio. Divieso

18 “ When there is a sore on the skin of the body that has been healed,

Y cuando en la piel de la carne haya divieso, y se sane,

19 a nd in the place of the sore there is a white, growing spot or a light-red, bright spot, it must be shown to the religious leader.

y en el lugar del divieso haya una hinchazón, o una mancha blanca rojiza, será mostrado al sacerdote.

20 I f the religious leader finds that it is under the skin and that the hair on it has become white, the religious leader will say he is unclean. It is the bad skin disease. It has broken out in the sore.

Y el sacerdote mirará; y si parece estar más profunda que la piel, y su pelo se ha vuelto blanco, el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo; es llaga de lepra que se originó en el divieso.

21 B ut the religious leader may find there are no white hairs in it, and that it is not under the skin and not as dark. Then the religious leader will keep him away from other people for seven days.

Y si el sacerdote la considera, y no aparece en ella pelo blanco, ni es más profunda que la piel, sino oscura, entonces el sacerdote le encerrará por siete días;

22 I f it spreads farther on the skin, the religious leader will say he is unclean. It is a spreading disease.

y si se va extendiendo por la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo; es llaga leprosa.

23 B ut if the bright spot stays in one place and does not spread, it is only what is left of the sore. The religious leader will say he is clean.

Pero si la mancha blanca se está en su lugar, y no se ha extendido, es la cicatriz de úlcera curable, y el sacerdote lo declarará limpio.

24 “ If the body has a burn on its skin, and the open sore of the burned flesh becomes a bright spot, light-red or white,

Asimismo cuando haya en la piel del cuerpo quemadura de fuego, y haya en lo sanado del fuego mancha blanquecina, rojiza o blanca,

25 t he religious leader must look at it. If the hair in the bright spot has become white and it shows to be deeper than the skin, it is a bad skin disease. It has broken out in the burn. So the religious leader will say he is unclean. It is a bad skin disease.

el sacerdote la mirará; y si el pelo se ha vuelto blanco en la mancha, y ésta parece ser más profunda que la piel, es lepra que salió en la quemadura; y el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo, por ser llaga de lepra.

26 B ut the religious leader may find there is no white hair in the bright spot, and that it is not under the skin and not as dark. Then the religious leader will keep him away from other people for seven days.

Mas si el sacerdote la mira, y no aparece en la mancha pelo blanco, ni es más profunda que la piel, sino que está oscura, le encerrará el sacerdote por siete días.

27 O n the seventh day the religious leader will look at him. If it has spread farther in the skin, the religious leader will say he is unclean. It is a bad skin disease.

Y al séptimo día el sacerdote la reconocerá; y si se ha ido extendiendo por la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo; es llaga de lepra.

28 B ut if the bright spot stays in one place and has not spread in the skin and is not as dark, it is only what is left of the burn. The religious leader will say he is clean. For it is what is left of the burn.

Pero si la mancha se está en su lugar, y no se ha extendido en la piel, sino que está oscura, es la cicatriz de la quemadura; el sacerdote lo declarará limpio, porque señal de la quemadura es.

29 “ When a man or woman has a sore on the head or in the hair of the face,

Y al hombre o mujer que le salga llaga en la cabeza, o en la barba,

30 t he religious leader will look at the sore. If it looks like it is under the skin, with yellow, fine hair in it, the religious leader will say he is unclean. It is a bad skin disease of the head or hair of the face.

el sacerdote mirará la llaga; y si parece ser más profunda que la piel, y el pelo de ella es amarillento y delgado, entonces el sacerdote le declarará inmundo; es tiña, es lepra de la cabeza o de la barba.

31 B ut the religious leader may find that the skin disease is not under the skin and there is no black hair in it. Then the religious leader will keep the person with the disease away from other people for seven days.

Mas cuando el sacerdote haya mirado la llaga de la tiña, y no parezca ser más profunda que la piel, ni haya en ella pelo negro, el sacerdote encerrará por siete días al llagado de la tiña;

32 O n the seventh day the religious leader will look at the disease. If the sore has not spread, and no yellow hair has grown in it, and it does not look like it is under the skin,

y al séptimo día el sacerdote mirará la llaga; y si la tiña no parece haberse extendido, ni hay en ella pelo amarillento, ni parece la tiña más profunda que la piel,

33 t hen the sick man will cut off his hair. But he will not cut the hair from the sore. The religious leader will keep the person with the disease away from other people seven more days.

entonces le hará que se rasure, pero no rasurará el lugar afectado; y el sacerdote encerrará por otros siete días al que tiene la tiña.

34 O n the seventh day the religious leader will look at the disease. If the disease has not spread and looks like it is not under the skin, the religious leader will say he is clean. And he will wash his clothes and be clean.

Y al séptimo día mirará el sacerdote la tiña; y si la tiña no ha cundido en la piel, ni parece ser más profunda que la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará limpio; y lavará sus vestidos y será limpio.

35 B ut if the disease spreads farther in the skin after he was to have been clean,

Pero si la tiña se ha ido extendiendo en la piel después de su purificación,

36 t hen the religious leader will look at him. If the disease has spread in the skin, the religious leader does not need to look for yellow hair. He is unclean.

entonces el sacerdote la mirará; y si la tiña ha cundido en la piel, no busque el sacerdote el pelo amarillento; es inmundo.

37 B ut if he finds that the disease has stayed in one place and black hair has grown in it, the disease has healed. He is clean. And the religious leader will say he is clean.

Mas si le parece que la tiña está detenida, y que ha salido en ella el pelo negro, la tiña está sanada; él está limpio, y limpio lo declarará el sacerdote.

38 “ When a man or woman has very white spots on the skin of their body,

Asimismo cuando el hombre o la mujer tenga en la piel de su cuerpo manchas, manchas blancas,

39 t hen the religious leader will look at them. If the white spots on the skin are not very bright, it is not a bad disease that has broken out on the skin. He is clean.

el sacerdote mirará, y si en la piel de su cuerpo aparecen manchas blancas algo oscurecidas, es empeine que brotó en la piel; está limpia la persona.

40 “ If a man’s hair has fallen out and he has no hair on his head, he is clean.

Y el hombre, cuando se le caiga el cabello, es calvo, pero limpio.

41 I f the hair has fallen from the front part of his head so that he has no hair there, he is clean.

Y si hacia su frente se le cae el cabello, es calvo por delante, pero limpio.

42 B ut if a red and white sore is on the head where there is no hair, it is a bad skin disease breaking out on his head.

Mas cuando en la calva o en la antecalva hay llaga blanca rojiza, lepra es que brota en su calva o en su antecalva.

43 T hen the religious leader will look at him. If the sore is red and white on the head where there is no hair, looking like a bad disease in the skin of the body,

Entonces el sacerdote lo mirará, y si la hinchazón de la llaga blanca rojiza en su calva o en su antecalva tiene el aspecto de la lepra de la piel del cuerpo,

44 h e is a man with a bad skin disease. He is unclean. The religious leader will say he is unclean. His disease is on his head. Laws about Clothing

leproso es, es inmundo, y el sacerdote lo declarará luego inmundo; en su cabeza tiene la llaga.

45 “ The person who has the bad skin disease will wear torn clothes and not cover the hair of his head. He will cover his mouth and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

Y el leproso en quien haya llaga llevará vestidos rasgados y su cabeza descubierta, y embozado gritará: ¡Inmundo!, ¡inmundo!

46 H e will be unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He will live alone. His home will be away from the tents.

Todo el tiempo que la llaga esté en él, será inmundo; estará impuro, y habitará solo; fuera del campamento será su morada.

47 W hen a mark of a bad skin disease is in a piece of clothing, wool or linen,

Cuando en un vestido haya plaga de lepra, ya sea vestido de lana, o de lino,

48 i n the cloth of linen or wool, or in leather or anything made of leather,

o en urdimbre o en trama de lino o de lana, o en cuero, en cualquier obra de cuero;

49 i f the mark is green or red in the clothing or leather, in the cloth or in anything made of leather, it is the mark of a bad skin disease. It will be shown to the religious leader.

y la plaga es verdosa, o rojiza, en vestido o en cuero, en urdimbre o en trama, o en cualquier obra de cuero; plaga es de lepra, y se ha de mostrar al sacerdote.

50 T he religious leader will look at the mark, and will keep the piece of clothing away from people for seven days.

Y el sacerdote mirará la plaga, y encerrará la cosa plagada por siete días.

51 H e will look at the mark again on the seventh day. If the mark has spread in the clothing, in the cloth or leather or anything made of leather, the mark is a bad disease. It is unclean.

Y al séptimo día mirará la plaga; y si se ha extendido la plaga en el vestido, en la urdimbre o en la trama, en el cuerpo, o en cualquier obra que se hace de cuero, lepra maligna es la plaga; inmunda será.

52 S o he will burn the clothing if the disease is in the cloth, in wool or linen or in anything made of leather, for it is a very bad disease. It will be burned in the fire.

Será quemado el vestido, la urdimbre o trama de lana o de lino, o cualquiera obra de cuero en que haya tal plaga, porque lepra maligna es; al fuego será quemada.

53 “ But the religious leader may look and find that the mark has not spread in the clothing, in the cloth or anything made of leather.

Y si el sacerdote mira, y no parece que la plaga se haya extendido en el vestido, en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en cualquier obra de cuero,

54 T hen the religious leader will tell them to wash the thing that has the mark of disease. And he will keep it away from people for seven more days.

entonces el sacerdote mandará que laven donde está la plaga, y lo encerrará otra vez por siete días.

55 A fter the piece of cloth or leather with the mark has been washed, the religious leader will look at it again. If the mark has not changed, even if the mark has not spread, it is unclean. You will burn it in the fire, if the mark of disease is on the back or the front.

Y el sacerdote mirará después que la plaga haya sido lavada; y si parece que la plaga no ha cambiado de aspecto, aunque no se haya extendido la plaga, inmunda es; la quemarás al fuego; es corrosión penetrante, esté lo raído en el derecho o en el revés de aquella cosa.

56 “ But the religious leader may find that the mark is not as easy to see after it is washed. Then he will tear it out of the clothing, leather or cloth.

Mas si el sacerdote la ve, y parece que la plaga se ha oscurecido después que fue lavada, la cortará del vestido, del cuero, de la urdimbre o de la trama.

57 I f it is seen again in the clothing, in cloth or anything made of leather, it is spreading. The thing that has the mark will be burned in the fire.

Y si aparece de nuevo en el vestido, la urdimbre o la trama, o en cualquier cosa de cuero, extendiéndose en ellos, quemarás al fuego aquello en que esté la plaga.

58 B ut if the clothing, cloth or anything made of leather, had the mark washed out of it, it will then be washed a second time. And it will be clean.”

Pero el vestido, la urdimbre o la trama, o cualquier cosa de cuero que laves, y que se le quite la plaga, se lavará segunda vez, y entonces será limpia.

59 T his is the law for the mark of a very bad disease in clothing of wool or linen, in cloth or in anything made of leather, for deciding if it is clean or not.

Esta es la ley para la plaga de la lepra del vestido de lana o de lino, o de urdimbre o de trama, o de cualquier cosa de cuero, para que sea declarada limpia o inmunda.
