1 “ See, the day is coming. It is burning like a hot fire. And all those who are proud and those who do wrong will be like dry grass. The day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord of All. “Not a root or branch will be left to them.

Porque he aquí que está para llegar aquel día, ardiente como un horno; y todos los soberbios y todos los que hacen maldad serán como el rastrojo; aquel día que está para llegar los abrasará, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.

Mas a vosotros los que teméis mi nombre, os nacerá el Sol de justicia, y en sus alas traerá salvación; y saldréis, y saltaréis como becerros del establo.

Hollaréis a los malos, los cuales serán ceniza bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día en que yo actúe, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

Acordaos de la ley de Moisés mi siervo, al cual encargué en Horeb estatutos y ordenanzas para todo Israel.

He aquí que yo os enviaré al profeta Elías, antes que venga el día grande y terrible de Jehová.

6 A nd he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Or else I will come and destroy the land with a curse.”

Él hará volver el corazón de los padres hacia los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos hacia los padres, no sea que yo venga y hiera la tierra con maldición completa.
