1 T he hand of the Lord was upon me. He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the center of the valley. It was full of bones.

La mano de Jehová vino sobre mí, y me llevó Jehová en espíritu y me puso en medio de un valle que estaba lleno de huesos.

2 H e led me around the valley. I saw there were very many bones, and they were very dry.

Y me hizo pasar cerca de ellos por todo en derredor; y he aquí que eran muchísimos sobre la faz del campo, y por cierto secos en gran manera.

3 H e said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I answered, “O Lord God, only You know that.”

Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, ¿pueden revivir estos huesos? Y respondí: Señor Jehová, tú lo sabes.

4 H e said to me, “Speak in My name over these bones. Say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord.’

Me dijo entonces: Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: Huesos secos, oíd palabra de Jehová.

5 T his is what the Lord God says to these bones: ‘I will make breath come into you, and you will come to life.

Así dice el Señor Jehová a estos huesos: He aquí que yo haré entrar espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis.

6 I will join you together, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you to make you come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

Y pondré tendones sobre vosotros, haré crecer sobre vosotros la carne, os cubriré de piel, y pondré en vosotros espíritu, y viviréis; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

7 S o I spoke as I was told. And as I spoke, there was a noise, the sound of bones hitting against each other. The bones came together, bone to bone.

Profeticé, pues, como me fue mandado; y hubo un ruido mientras yo profetizaba, e inmediatamente una conmoción; y los huesos se juntaron, cada hueso en su sitio.

8 I looked and saw that parts had grown to hold them together. Flesh had grown, and they were covered with skin. But there was no breath in them.

Y miré, y he aquí que había tendones sobre ellos, y la carne subió, y la piel cubrió por encima de ellos; pero no había en ellos espíritu.

9 T hen He said to me, “Speak to the breath in My name, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘The Lord God says, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these dead bodies to make them come to life.”’”

Entonces me dijo: Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di al espíritu: Así dice el Señor Jehová: Espíritu, ven de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.

10 S o I spoke as I had been told. The breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet. They were a large army.

Así que profeticé como me había mandado, y entró el espíritu en ellos, y vivieron, y se pusieron en pie; un ejército grande en extremo.

11 T hen He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are all the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is gone. We are all destroyed.’

Me dijo luego: Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. He aquí que ellos dicen: Nuestros huesos están secos, y se ha perdido nuestra esperanza; y estamos cortados del todo.

12 S o speak in My name and tell them, ‘The Lord God says, “I will open your graves, My people, and make you come out of them. And I will bring you into the land of Israel.

Por tanto, profetiza, y diles: Así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo voy a abrir vuestros sepulcros, pueblo mío, y os haré subir de vuestras sepulturas, y os traeré a la tierra de Israel.

13 T hen, My people, you will know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and brought you up.

Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando haya abierto vuestros sepulcros, y os haga salir de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío.

14 I will put My Spirit within you, and you will come to life. I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and have done it,” says the Lord.’” Judah and Israel under One King

Y pondré mi Espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis, y os instalaré en vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo Jehová hablé, y lo hice, dice Jehová. Judá e Israel en un solo reino

15 T he Word of the Lord came to me saying,

Vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

16 “ Son of man, take one stick of wood and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the people of Israel with him.’ Then take another stick of wood and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the people of Israel with him.’

Hijo de hombre, toma ahora un palo, y escribe en él: Para Judá, y para los hijos de Israel sus compañeros. Toma después otro palo, y escribe en él: Para José, palo de Efraín, y de toda la casa de Israel sus compañeros.

17 T hen join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.

Júntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean uno solo, y se hagan uno solo en tu mano.

18 A nd when your people say to you, ‘Will you not let us know what you mean by these?’

Y cuando te pregunten los hijos de tu pueblo, diciendo: ¿No nos explicarás lo que significa eso?,

19 t ell them, ‘The Lord God says, “I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the people of Israel who are with him. And I will put it with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick. They will be one in My hand.”’

diles: Así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo tomo el palo de José que está en la mano de Efraín, y a las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y los pondré juntamente con el palo de Judá, y los haré un solo palo, y se harán uno en mi mano.

20 H old in front of them the sticks you write on,

Y los palos sobre los que escribas estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos,

21 a nd tell them, ‘The Lord God says, “I will take the people of Israel from the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land.

y les dirás: Así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo voy a tomar a los hijos de Israel de entre las naciones a las cuales fueron, y los recogeré de todas partes, y los traeré a su tierra;

22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king will rule over all of them. They will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided under two kings.

y los haré una sola nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel, y un solo rey será a todos ellos por rey; y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más estarán divididos en dos reinos.

23 T hey will no longer make themselves unclean with their false gods, or with their hated objects of worship, or with any of their sins. I will keep them from turning again to these sins, and will make them clean. They will be My people, and I will be their God.

Ni se contaminarán ya más con sus ídolos, ni con sus abominaciones, ni con ninguna de sus transgresiones; y los sacaré de todas las habitaciones en las cuales pecaron, y los limpiaré; y me serán por pueblo, y yo a ellos por Dios.

24 “ My servant David will be their king, and they will have one shepherd. They will follow and keep My Laws, and obey them.

Mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y todos ellos tendrán un solo pastor; y andarán en mis ordenanzas, y guardarán mis estatutos, y los pondrán por obra.

25 A nd they will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live in it forever. And My servant David will be their leader forever.

Habitarán en la tierra que di a mi siervo Jacob, en la cual habitaron vuestros padres; en ella habitarán ellos, sus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos para siempre; y mi siervo David será príncipe de ellos para siempre.

26 I will make a peace agreement with them, one that lasts forever. I will bring good to them and make them many in number. And I will set My holy place among them forever.

Y haré con ellos pacto de paz, será un pacto perpetuo con ellos; y los estableceré y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.

27 I will live with them, and will be their God, and they will be My people.

Estará en medio de ellos mi tabernáculo, y seré a ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán por pueblo.

28 T hen the nations will know that I am the Lord Who makes Israel holy, when My holy place is among them forever.”’”

Y sabrán las naciones que yo Jehová santifico a Israel, cuando mi santuario esté en medio de ellos para siempre.
