1 M oreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

Още, братя, напомням ви благовестието, което ви проповядвах, което и приехте, в което и стоите,

2 B y which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

чрез което се и спасявате, ако го държите, според както съм ви го благовестил, освен ако напразно сте повярвали.

3 F or I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Защото първо ви предадох онова, което и приех, че Христос умря за греховете ни според Писанията;

4 A nd that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

че беше погребан; че беше възкресен на третия ден според Писанията;

5 A nd that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

и че се яви на Кифа, после на дванадесетте,

6 A fter that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

че след това се яви на повече от петстотин братя наведнъж, от които повечето и досега са живи, а някои починаха;

7 A fter that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

че после се яви на Яков, тогава на всички апостоли;

8 A nd last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

а от всички най-накрая се яви и на мене, като на някой изтърсак.

9 F or I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

Защото аз съм най-нищожният от апостолите, който не съм достоен и апостол да се нарека, понеже гоних Божията църква.

10 B ut by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Но с Божията благодат съм, каквото съм; и дадената ми Негова благодат не беше напразна, но се трудих повече от всички тях - не аз обаче, а Божията благодат, която беше с мен.

11 T herefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

И така, било че аз се трудих повече, било че те, така проповядваме и те, и аз, и вие така сте повярвали. Възкресението на мъртвите

12 N ow if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Ако се проповядва, че Христос е възкресен от мъртвите, как казват някои между вас, че няма възкресение на мъртвите?

13 B ut if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

Ако няма възкресение на мъртвите, то и Христос не е бил възкресен;

14 A nd if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

и ако Христос не е бил възкресен, то празна е нашата проповед, празна е и вашата вяра.

15 Y ea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

При това ние се оказваме и лъжесвидетели на Бога, защото свидетелствахме за Бога, че е възкресил Христос, Когото Той не е възкресил, ако мъртвите не се възкресяват.

16 F or if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

Защото ако мъртвите не се възкресяват, тогава и Христос не е бил възкресен;

17 A nd if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

и ако Христос не е бил възкресен, суетна е вашата вяра; вие сте още в греховете си.

18 T hen they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Тогава и тези, които са починали в Христос, са погинали.

19 I f in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Ако само в този живот се надяваме на Христос, то от всички човеци ние сме най-много за съжаление.

20 B ut now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Но сега Христос е бил възкресен, първият плод от починалите.

21 F or since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

Понеже както чрез човека дойде смъртта, така чрез човека дойде възкресението на мъртвите.

22 F or as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Защото както в Адам всички умират, така и в Христос всички ще живеят.

23 B ut every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Но всеки на своя ред: Христос - първият плод, после, при пришествието на Христос, тези, които са Негови.

24 T hen cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Тогава ще бъде краят, когато Той ще предаде царството на Бога и Отца, след като унищожи всяко началство и всяка власт и сила.

25 F or he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Защото Той трябва да царува, докато положи всички врагове под краката Си.

26 T he last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

И смъртта, най-последният враг, и тя ще бъде унищожена,

27 F or he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

защото Бог "е покорил всичко под краката Му". А когато казва, че всичко е вече покорено (явно с изключение на Този, Който Му е покорил всичко),

28 A nd when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

когато Му бъде покорено всичко, тогава и Сам Синът ще се покори на Този, Който Му е покорил всичко, за да бъде Бог всичко във всичко.

29 E lse what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

Иначе какво ще правят тези, които се кръщават заради мъртвите? Ако мъртвите изобщо не се възкресяват, защо се кръщават заради тях?

30 A nd why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

Защо и ние се излагаме на опасност всеки час?

31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Братя, с похвалата, с която се гордея заради вас в Христос Исус, нашия Господ, аз всеки ден умирам.

32 I f after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

Ако, по човешки казано, съм се борил със зверове в Ефес, какво ме ползва? Ако мъртвите не се възкресяват, "нека ядем и пием, защото утре ще умрем".

33 B e not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Не се заблуждавайте. "Лошите другари покваряват добрите нрави."

34 A wake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Отрезвете се, за да живеете според правдата, и не съгрешавайте, защото някои от вас не познават Бога. Това казвам, за да се засрамите. Възкресението на тялото

35 B ut some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

Но някой ще каже: Как се възкресяват мъртвите? И с какво тяло ще дойдат?

36 T hou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

Безумецо, това, което ти сееш, не оживява, ако не умре.

37 A nd that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

И когато го сееш, не посяваш тялото, което ще поникне, а голо зърно, каквото се случи, пшенично или някое друго;

38 B ut God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

но Бог му дава тяло, каквото му е угодно, и на всяко семе собственото му тяло.

39 A ll flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

Всяка плът не е еднаква; една е плътта на човеците, а друга на животните, друга пък на птиците и друга на рибите.

40 T here are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

Има и небесни тела, и земни тела; друга е обаче славата на небесните, а друга на земните.

41 T here is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

Един е блясъкът на слънцето, друг е блясъкът на луната и друг е блясъкът на звездите; а и звезда от звезда се различава по блясък.

42 S o also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

Така е и възкресението на мъртвите. Тялото се сее в тление, възкръсва в нетление;

43 I t is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

сее се в безчестие, възкръсва в слава; сее се в немощ, възкръсва в сила;

44 I t is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

сее се одушевено тяло, възкръсва духовно тяло. Ако има одушевено тяло, то има и духовно тяло.

45 A nd so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Така е и писано: "Първият човек Адам стана жива душа", а последният Адам стана животворящ дух.

46 H owbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

Обаче не е първо духовното, а одушевеното и после духовното.

47 T he first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Първият човек е от земята - от пръст; вторият човек е от небето.

48 A s is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

Какъвто е пръстният, такива са и пръстните; и какъвто е небесният, такива са и небесните.

49 A nd as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

И както сме се облекли в образа на пръстния, ще се облечем и в образа на небесния.

50 N ow this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

А това казвам, братя, че плът и кръв не могат да наследят Божието царство, нито тленното наследява нетленното.

51 B ehold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Ето, една тайна ви казвам: Не всички ще починем, но всички ще се изменим,

52 I n a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

в един миг, докато трепне око, при последната тръба; защото тя ще затръби и мъртвите ще възкръснат нетленни, и ние ще се изменим.

53 F or this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Защото това, тленното, трябва да се облече в нетление и това, смъртното, да се облече в безсмъртие.

54 S o when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

А когато това, тленното, се облече в нетление и това, смъртното, се облече в безсмъртие, тогава ще се сбъдне писаното слово: "Погълната бе смъртта победоносно."

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

"О, смърт, къде ти е победата? О, смърт, къде ти е жилото?"

56 T he sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Жилото на смъртта е грехът и силата на греха е законът;

57 B ut thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

но да благодарим на Бога, Който ни дава победата чрез нашия Господ Исус Христос.

58 T herefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Затова, възлюбени мои братя, бъдете твърди, непоколебими и преизобилвайте винаги в Господнето дело, понеже знаете, че в Господа трудът ви не е напразен.
