1 H im that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Слабия във вярата приемайте, но не за да оспорвате неговите мнения.

2 F or one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Един вярва, че може всичко да яде; а който е слаб във вярата, яде само зеленчук.

3 L et not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Който яде, да не презира този, който не яде; и който не яде, да не осъжда този, който яде; защото Бог го е приел.

4 W ho art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Кой си ти, за да съдиш чужд слуга? Пред своя си господар той стои или пада. Но ще стои, защото Господ е силен да го направи да стои.

5 O ne man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Някой уважава един ден повече от друг ден; а друг човек уважава всеки ден еднакво. Всеки да бъде напълно уверен в своя ум.

6 H e that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Който пази деня, за Господа го пази, а който не пази деня, за Господа не го пази; който яде, за Господа яде, защото благодари на Бога; и който не яде, за Господа не яде и благодари на Бога.

7 F or none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

Защото никой от нас не живее за себе си и никой не умира за себе си.

8 F or whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Понеже, ако живеем, за Господа живеем, и ако умираме, за Господа умираме; и така, живеем ли, умираме ли, Господни сме.

9 F or to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Защото Христос затова умря и оживя - да господства и над мъртвите, и над живите.

10 B ut why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

И така, ти защо съдиш брат си? А пък ти защо презираш брат си? Понеже ние всички ще застанем пред Божието съдилище.

11 F or it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Защото е писано: " Заклевам се в живота Си, казва Господ, че всяко коляно ще се преклони пред Мен и всеки език ще славослови Бога."

12 S o then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

И така, всеки от нас за себе си ще отговаря пред Бога. Да не съблазняваме братята си

13 L et us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Затова нека вече да не съдим един друг; но по-добре да разсъждавате така - никой да не поставя пред брата си спънка или съблазън.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

Зная и съм уверен в Господ Исус, че нищо не е само̀ по себе си нечисто; с това изключение, че за този, който смята нещо за нечисто, за него е нечисто.

15 B ut if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

Защото ако брат ти се почувства оскърбен поради това, което ядеш, ти вече не ходиш според любовта. С яденето си не погубвай онзи, за когото е умрял Христос.

16 L et not then your good be evil spoken of:

И така, да не се хули това, което вие смятате за добро.

17 F or the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Защото Божието царство не е ядене и пиене, а правда, мир и радост в Святия Дух.

18 F or he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

Понеже който така служи на Христос, е угоден на Бога и одобрен от човеците.

19 L et us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

И така, нека търсим това, което служи за мир и за взаимно назидание.

20 F or meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

Заради ядене недей съсипва Божията работа. Всичко наистина е чисто; но е зло за човека, който с яденето си причинява съблазън.

21 I t is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Добре е да не ядеш месо, нито да пиеш вино, нито да правиш нещо, чрез което се спъва брат ти или се съблазнява, или изнемогва.

22 H ast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

Вярата, която имаш за тези неща, имай я за себе си пред Бога. Блажен онзи, който не осъжда себе си в това, което одобрява.

23 A nd he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Но онзи, който се съмнява, се осъжда, ако яде, защото не яде от вяра; а всичко, което не става от вяра, е грях.
