1 L isten, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

Слушайте ме, острови, и внимавайте, далечни племена: Господ ме призова още от раждането ми, още от утробата на майка ми спомена името ми!

2 A nd he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

Направи устата ми като остър меч, покри ме под сянката на ръката Си; и ме направи като лъскава стрела, и ме скри в колчана Си.

3 A nd said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Той ми каза: Ти си Мой слуга, ти си Израел, в когото ще се прославя.

4 T hen I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.

Но аз си казах: Напразно съм се трудил, за нищо и напразно съм изнурявал силата си; все пак, обаче, правото ми е у Господа и наградата ми е у моя Бог.

5 A nd now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.

И така, сега говори Господ, Който ме създаде още от утробата за Свой слуга, за да доведа пак Яков при Него и за да се събере Израел при Него (защото съм почтен в очите на Господа и моят Бог ми стана сила).

6 A nd he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Да! Той казва: Малко нещо е да Ми бъдеш слуга, за да възстановиш племената на Яков и за да възвърнеш опазените на Израел; ще те дам още за светлина на народите, за да бъдеш Мое спасение до земния край.

7 T hus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

Така казва Господ, Изкупителят на Израел и Святият негов, на онзи, когото човек презира, на онзи, от когото се гнуси народът, на слуга на владетелите: Царе ще видят и ще станат, князе - и ще се поклонят, поради Господа, Който е верен, поради Святия Израелев, Който те избра.

8 T hus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Така казва Господ: В благоприятно време те послушах и в спасителен ден ти помогнах; ще те опазя и ще те дам за завет на народа, за да възстановиш земята, за да ги направиш да завладеят запустелите наследства,

9 T hat thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

като кажеш на вързаните: Излезте, на онези, които са в тъмнината: Явете се. Те ще пасат край пътищата и пасбищата им ще бъдат по високите голи височини.

10 T hey shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

Няма да огладнеят, нито да ожаднеят; няма да ги повреди нито жега, нито слънце; защото Онзи, Който се смилява над тях, ще ги води и при водни извори ще ги заведе.

11 A nd I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.

И ще обърна всичките Си планини на пътища и пътищата Ми ще се издигнат.

12 B ehold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

Ето, тези ще дойдат отдалеч, онези - от север и от запад, а пък онези - от Синимската земя.

13 S ing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

Пей, небе, и се радвай, земьо, и запейте, планини; защото Господ утеши народа Си и се смили над наскърбените Си.

14 B ut Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

Но Сион каза: Йехова ме е изоставил и Господ ме е забравил.

15 C an a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Може ли жена да забрави сучещото си дете, за да не се смили над детето на утробата си? Обаче те, дори и да забравят, Аз все пак няма да те забравя.

16 B ehold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Ето, на дланите Си съм те врязал; твоите стени са винаги пред Мене.

17 T hy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.

Синовете ти ще дойдат набързо; а разорителите и опустошителите ти ще си отидат от тебе.

18 L ift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.

Повдигни очите си наоколо и виж: всички те се събират заедно и идват при тебе. Заклевам се в живота Си, казва Господ, ти наистина ще се облечеш с всички тях като с украшение и като невяста ще се накичиш с тях.

19 F or thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.

Защото разорените и запустелите ти места и опустошената ти земя ще бъдат сега тесни за жителите ти; а онези, които те поглъщаха, ще бъдат отдалечени.

20 T he children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.

Синовете, които ще добиеш, след като си останала без деца, ще кажат още в ушите ти: Тясно е мястото за мене; стори ми място, за да се заселя.

21 T hen shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?

Тогава ще кажеш в сърцето си: Кой ми роди тези, тъй като аз бях без деца и самотна, заточена и скитница? И кой изхрани тези? Ето, аз бях оставена сама; тези къде бяха?

22 T hus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

Така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, ще издигна ръката Си към народите и ще възвися знамето Си пред племената; и те ще доведат синовете ти в обятията си и дъщерите ти ще бъдат донесени на рамената им.

23 A nd kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

Царе ще бъдат твои хранители и техните царици - твои кърмачки; ще ти се поклонят с лице до земята и ще лижат пръстта на краката ти; и ти ще познаеш, че Аз съм Господ и че онези, които Ме чакат, няма да се посрамят.

24 S hall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

Нима може да се отнеме плячката от силния или да се отърват пленените от юнак?

25 B ut thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Но Господ казва така: Пленниците на силния ще бъдат отнети и плячката ще бъде отървана от страшния; защото Аз ще се съдя с онзи, който се съди с теб, и ще спася синовете ти.

26 A nd I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

А потисниците ти ще заставя да изядат собствените си меса и ще се опият със собствената си кръв, както с ново вино; и всяка твар ще познае, че Аз, Господ, съм твоят Спасител и че твоят изкупител е Могъщият Яковов.
