1 J udge not, that ye be not judged.

2 F or with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Защото с каквото отсъждане съдите, с такова ще ви съдят; и с каквато мярка мерите, с такава ще ви се мери.

3 A nd why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

И защо гледаш съчицата в окото на брат си, а не забелязваш гредата в своето око?

4 O r how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Или как ще кажеш на брат си: Остави ме да извадя съчицата от окото ти; а ето гредата в твоето око? За молитвата

5 T hou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Лицемерецо, първо извади гредата от своето око и тогава ще видиш ясно, за да извадиш съчицата от окото на брат си.

6 G ive not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Не давайте свято нещо на кучетата, нито хвърляйте бисерите си пред свинете, да не би да ги стъпчат с краката си и се обърнат да ви разкъсат.

7 A sk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Искайте и ще ви се даде; търсете и ще намерите; хлопайте и ще ви се отвори;

8 F or every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

защото всеки, който иска, получава; който търси, намира; и на този, който хлопа, ще се отвори.

9 O r what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

Има ли между вас човек, който, ако му поиска синът му хляб, ще му даде камък

10 O r if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

или ако поиска риба, ще му даде змия?

11 I f ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

И така, ако вие, които сте зли, знаете да давате блага на децата си, колко повече вашият Отец, Който е на небесата, ще даде добри неща на тези, които искат от Него!

12 T herefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

И така, всяко нещо, което желаете да правят човеците на вас, така и вие правете на тях; защото това е същината на закона и пророците. Двата пътя

13 E nter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Влезте през тясната порта, защото широка е портата и пространен е пътят, който води към погибел, и мнозина са онези, които минават през тях.

14 B ecause strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Понеже тясна е портата и стеснен е пътят, който води към живот, и малцина са онези, които ги намират. Предпазване от лъжеучители

15 B eware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Пазете се от лъжливите пророци, които идват при вас с овчи дрехи, а отвътре са вълци грабители.

16 Y e shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

По плодовете им ще ги познаете. Бере ли се грозде от тръни или смокини от репеи?

17 E ven so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Също така всяко добро дърво дава добри плодове, а лошото дърво дава лоши плодове.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Не може добро дърво да дава лоши плодове или лошо дърво да дава добри плодове.

19 E very tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Всяко дърво, което не дава добър плод, се отсича и се хвърля в огън.

20 W herefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

И така, по плодовете им ще ги познаете. Опасност от лъжливо изповядване

21 N ot every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Не всеки, който Ми казва: Господи! Господи!, ще влезе в небесното царство, но който върши волята на Моя Отец, Който е на небесата.

22 M any will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

В онзи ден мнозина ще Ми кажат: Господи! Господи! Не в Твое ли име пророкувахме, не в Твое ли име бесове изгонвахме и не в Твое ли име извършихме много чудеса?

23 A nd then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Но тогава ще им заявя: Аз никога не съм ви познавал; махнете се от Мене, вие, които вършите беззаконие.

24 T herefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

И така, всеки, който чуе тези Мои думи и ги изпълнява, ще се оприличи на разумен човек, който е построил къщата си на канара.

25 A nd the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

И заваля дъждът, придойдоха реките, духнаха ветровете и се устремиха върху тази къща; но тя не падна, защото бе основана на канара.

26 A nd every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

И всеки, който чуе тези Мои думи и не ги изпълнява, ще се оприличи на неразумен човек, който построи къщата си на пясък.

27 A nd the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

И заваля дъждът, придойдоха реките, духнаха ветровете и се устремиха върху тази къща; и тя падна и падането ѝ беше голямо.

28 A nd it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

И когато Исус свърши тези думи, народът се чудеше на учението Му;

29 F or he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

защото ги поучаваше като Един, Който има власт, а не като техните книжници.
