1 J udge not, that ye be not judged.

“ No juzguen para que no sean juzgados.

2 F or with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Porque con el juicio con que ustedes juzguen, serán juzgados; y con la medida con que midan, se les medirá.

3 A nd why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

¿Por qué miras la mota que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no te das cuenta de la viga que está en tu propio ojo ?

4 O r how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

¿O cómo puedes decir a tu hermano: ‘Déjame sacarte la mota del ojo,’ cuando la viga está en tu ojo ?

5 T hou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

¡Hipócrita! Saca primero la viga de tu ojo, y entonces verás con claridad para sacar la mota del ojo de tu hermano.

6 G ive not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

“No den lo santo a los perros, ni echen sus perlas delante de los cerdos, no sea que las huellen con sus patas, y volviéndose los despedacen a ustedes. La Oración Recibirá Respuesta

7 A sk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

“ Pidan, y se les dará; busquen, y hallarán; llamen, y se les abrirá.

8 F or every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Porque todo el que pide, recibe; y el que busca, halla; y al que llama, se le abrirá.

9 O r what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

¿O qué hombre hay entre ustedes que si su hijo le pide pan, le dará una piedra,

10 O r if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

o si le pide un pescado, le dará una serpiente?

11 I f ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Pues si ustedes, siendo malos, saben dar buenas dádivas a sus hijos, ¿cuánto más su Padre que está en los cielos dará cosas buenas a los que Le piden ?

12 T herefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

“Por eso, todo cuanto quieran que los hombres les hagan, así también hagan ustedes con ellos, porque ésta es la Ley y los Profetas. Dos Puertas y Dos Sendas

13 E nter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

“Entren por la puerta estrecha, porque ancha es la puerta y amplia es la senda que lleva a la perdición (destrucción), y muchos son los que entran por ella.

14 B ecause strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Pero estrecha es la puerta y angosta la senda que lleva a la vida, y pocos son los que la hallan. Cómo Conocer a los Falsos Profetas

15 B eware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

“Cuídense de los falsos profetas, que vienen a ustedes con vestidos de ovejas, pero por dentro son lobos rapaces.

16 Y e shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Por sus frutos los conocerán. ¿Acaso se recogen uvas de los espinos o higos de los cardos?

17 E ven so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Así, todo árbol bueno da frutos buenos; pero el árbol malo da frutos malos.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Un árbol bueno no puede producir frutos malos, ni un árbol malo producir frutos buenos.

19 E very tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Todo árbol que no da buen fruto es cortado y echado al fuego.

20 W herefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Así que, por sus frutos los conocerán.

21 N ot every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

“No todo el que Me dice: ‘Señor, Señor,’ entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino el que hace la voluntad de Mi Padre que está en los cielos.

22 M any will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Muchos Me dirán en aquel día: ‘Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en Tu nombre, y en Tu nombre echamos fuera demonios, y en Tu nombre hicimos muchos milagros ?’

23 A nd then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Entonces les declararé: ‘Jamás los conocí; apartense de Mi, los que practican la iniquidad.’ Los Dos Cimientos

24 T herefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

“ Por tanto, cualquiera que oye estas palabras Mías y las pone en práctica, será semejante a un hombre sabio que edificó su casa sobre la roca;

25 A nd the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

y cayó la lluvia, vinieron los torrentes, soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; pero no se cayó, porque había sido fundada sobre la roca.

26 A nd every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Todo el que oye estas palabras Mías y no las pone en práctica, será semejante a un hombre insensato que edificó su casa sobre la arena;

27 A nd the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

y cayó la lluvia, vinieron los torrentes, soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; y cayó, y grande fue su destrucción.”

28 A nd it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Cuando Jesús terminó estas palabras, las multitudes se admiraban de Su enseñanza;

29 F or he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

porque les enseñaba como Uno que tiene autoridad, y no como sus escribas.
