1 T his is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 M ale and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Varón y hembra los creó. Los bendijo, y los llamó Adán el día en que fueron creados.

3 A nd Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

Cuando Adán había vivido 130 años, engendró un hijo a su semejanza, conforme a su imagen, y le puso por nombre Set.

4 A nd the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Y los días de Adán después de haber engendrado a Set fueron 800 años, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

5 A nd all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

El total de los días que Adán vivió fue de 930 años, y murió.

6 A nd Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

Set vivió 105 años, y fue padre de Enós.

7 A nd Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Set 807 años después de haber engendrado a Enós, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

8 A nd all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

El total de los días de Set fue de 912 años, y murió.

9 A nd Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

Enós vivió 90 años, y fue padre de Cainán.

10 A nd Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Enós 815 años después de haber engendrado a Cainán, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

11 A nd all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 A nd Cainan lived seventy years and begat Mahalaleel:

13 A nd Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Cainán 840 años después de haber engendrado a Mahalaleel, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

14 A nd all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 A nd Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

16 A nd Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Mahalaleel 830 años después de haber engendrado a Jared, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

17 A nd all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 A nd Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

Jared vivió 162 años, y fue padre de Enoc.

19 A nd Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Jared 800 años después de haber engendrado a Enoc, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

20 A nd all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

El total de los días de Jared fue de 962 años, y murió.

21 A nd Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

Enoc vivió 65 años, y fue padre de Matusalén.

22 A nd Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Enoc anduvo con Dios 300 años después de haber engendrado a Matusalén, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

23 A nd all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

El total de los días de Enoc fue de 365 años.

24 A nd Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Y Enoc anduvo con Dios, y desapareció porque Dios se lo llevó.

25 A nd Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech.

Matusalén vivió 187 años, y fue padre de Lamec.

26 A nd Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Matusalén 782 años después de haber engendrado a Lamec, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

27 A nd all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

El total de los días de Matusalén fue de 969 años, y murió.

28 A nd Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

Lamec vivió 182 años, y tuvo un hijo.

29 A nd he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.

Y le puso por nombre Noé, diciendo: “Este nos dará descanso de nuestra labor y del trabajo de nuestras manos, por causa de la tierra que el Señor ha maldecido.”

30 A nd Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

Y vivió Lamec 595 años después de haber engendrado a Noé, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas.

31 A nd all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

El total de los días de Lamec fue de 777 años, y murió.

32 A nd Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noé tenía 500 años, y fue padre de Sem, de Cam y de Jafet.
