1 A nd I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

И видях ново небе и нова земя; защото първото небе и първата земя бяха преминали; и море нямаше вече.

2 A nd I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Видях и святия град, новия Йерусалим, да слиза от небето от Бога, приготвен като невеста, украсена за мъжа си.

3 A nd I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

И чух силен глас от престола, който казваше: Ето, скинията на Бога е с човеците; Той ще обитава с тях; те ще бъдат Негов народ; и сам Бог ще бъде с тях - техен Бог.

4 A nd God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Той ще обърше всяка сълза от очите им и смърт няма да има вече; нито ще има вече жалеене, нито плач, нито болка; защото предишното премина.

5 A nd he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

И Седящият на престола каза: Ето, подновявам всичко. Каза: Напиши, защото тези думи са верни и истинни.

6 A nd he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

И ми каза: Сбъднаха се. Аз съм Алфа и Омега, Началото и Краят. На жадния ще дам даром от извора на водата на живота.

7 H e that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Който побеждава, ще наследи тези неща; Аз ще му бъда Бог и той ще Ми бъде син.

8 B ut the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

А колкото за страхливците, невярващите, мерзавците, убийците, блудниците, магьосниците, идолопоклонниците и всички лъжци, тяхната участ ще бъде в езерото, което гори с огън и жупел. Това е втората смърт. Новият Йерусалим

9 A nd there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

Тогава дойде един от седемте ангела, които бяха натоварени със седемте последни язви и държаха седемте чаши, и ми заговори: Ела, ще ти покажа невестата, жената на Агнеца.

10 A nd he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

И ме отведе чрез Духа на една голяма и висока планина и ми показа святия град, Йерусалим, който слизаше от небето, от Бога,

11 H aving the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

и имаше божествена слава като светеше, както свети някой много скъпоценен камък, като яспис, прозрачен като кристал.

12 A nd had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Градът имаше голяма и висока стена с дванадесет порти и на портите дванадесет ангела, и написани над портите имена, които са имената на дванадесетте племена на израелтяните:

13 O n the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

откъм изток три порти, откъм север три порти, откъм юг три порти и откъм запад три порти.

14 A nd the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

И градската стена имаше дванадесет основни камъка с дванадесет имена на тях, имената на дванадесетте апостоли на Агнеца.

15 A nd he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

И този, който говореше с мене, имаше за мярка златна тръстикова пръчка, за да измери града, портите и стената му.

16 A nd the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

Градът беше квадратен, с дължина, равна на широчината му; и като измери града с тръстиковата пръчка, излезе дванадесет хиляди стадии. Дължината, широчината и височината му са еднакви.

17 A nd he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

Измери и стената му, която излезе сто четиридесет и четири лакти; а това беше човешка мярка, употребена от ангела.

18 A nd the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

Стената му беше изградена от яспис, а самият град - от чисто злато, подобно на чисто стъкло.

19 A nd the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

Основните камъни на градските стени бяха украсени с всякакви скъпоценни камъни: първият основен камък беше яспис, вторият сапфир, третият халцедон, четвъртият смарагд,

20 T he fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

петият сардоникс, шестият сард, седмият хризолит, осмият берил, деветият топаз, десетият хризопрас, единадесетият хиацинт, дванадесетият аметист.

21 A nd the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

И дванадесетте порти бяха дванадесет бисера; всяка порта беше от един бисер; и улицата на града беше от чисто злато, прозрачно като стъкло.

22 A nd I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

А храм не видях в него, защото неговият храм е Господ Бог Всемогъщият и Агнецът.

23 A nd the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

И градът нямаше нужда от слънце, нито от луна да го осветява, защото Божията слава го осветяваше и неговото светило е Агнецът.

24 A nd the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

И земните племена ще ходят в неговата светлина и земните царе ще принасят в него своята слава.

25 A nd the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Портите му няма да се затварят денем (а нощ няма да има там);

26 A nd they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

и земните племена ще принасят в него слава и почест.

27 A nd there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

И в него няма да влезе нищо нечисто, нито онзи, който върши мерзост и който лъже, а само записаните в книгата на живота на Агнеца.
