1 B rethren, the delight of my own heart and my supplication which to God for them is for salvation.

Братя, моето сърдечно желание и молбата ми към Бога е за спасението <на Израиля>.

2 F or I bear them witness that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

Защото свидетелствувам за тях, че те имат ревност за Бога, само че не е според пълното знание.

3 F or they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Понеже, ако не знаят правдата, <която е> от Бога и искат да поставят своята, те не се покориха на правдата от Бога.

4 F or Christ is end of law for righteousness to every one that believes.

Понеже Христос <изпълнява> целта на закона, да се оправдае всеки, който вярва.

5 F or Moses lays down in writing the righteousness which is of the law, The man who has practised those things shall live by them.

Защото Моисей пише, че човек, който върши правдата, която е чрез <пазенето на> закона, ще живее чрез нея.

6 B ut the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down;

А правдата, която е чрез вяра, говори така: "Да не речеш в сърцето си: Кой ще се възкачи на небето, сиреч, да свали Христа?

7 o r, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among dead.

или: Кой ще слезе в бездната сиреч да възведе Христа от мъртвите?"

8 B ut what says it? The word is near thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:

Но що казва тя? <Казва, че> "думата е близо при тебе, в устата ти и в сърцето ти", сиреч думата на вярата която проповядваме.

9 t hat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among dead, thou shalt be saved.

Защото, ако изповядаш с устата си, че Исус е Господ, и повярваш със сърцето си, че Бог Го е възкресил от мъртвите ще се спасиш.

10 F or with heart is believed to righteousness; and with mouth confession made to salvation.

Защото със сърце вярва човек и се оправдава, и с уста прави изповед и се спасява.

11 F or the scripture says, No one believing on him shall be ashamed.

Защото писанието казва: "Никой, който вярва в Него, не ще се посрами".

12 F or there is no difference of Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all rich towards all that call upon him.

Понеже няма разлика между юдеин и грък защото същият Господ е Господ на всички, богат към всички, които Го призовават.

13 F or every one whosoever, who shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

Защото "всеки, който призове Господното име, ще се спаси".

14 H ow then shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without one who preaches?

Как, прочее, ще призоват Този, в Когото не са повярвали? И как ще повярват в Този, за Когото не са чули? А как ще чуят без проповедник?

15 a nd how shall they preach unless they have been sent? according as it is written, How beautiful the feet of them that announce glad tidings of peace, of them that announce glad tidings of good things!

И как ще проповядват, ако не бъдат пратени? Както е писано: - "Колко са прекрасни Нозете на тия, които благовествуват доброто!"

16 B ut they have not all obeyed the glad tidings. For Esaias says, Lord, who has believed our report?

Но не всички послушаха благовестието; защото Исаия казва: "Господи, <кой от нас> е повярвал на онова, което сме чули"?

17 S o faith then by a report, but the report by God's word.

И тъй, вярването <е> от слушане, а слушането - от Христовото слово.

18 B ut I say, Have they not heard? Yea, surely, Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the extremities of the habitable world.

Но казвам: те не са ли чули? Наистина, <чули> са: - "По цялата земя е излязъл гласът им, И думите им до краищата на вселената".

19 B ut I say, Has not Israel known? First, Moses says, I will provoke you to jealousy through not a nation: through a nation without understanding I will anger you.

Но <пак> казвам: Израил не е ли разбрал? <Разбрал е, защото> първо Моисей казва: - "Аз ще ви раздразня до ревнуване с тия, които не са народ; С народ несмислен ще ви разгневя";

20 B ut Esaias is very bold, and says, I have been found by those not seeking me; I have become manifest to those not inquiring after me.

а Исаия се осмелява да каже: - "Намерен бях от ония, които не Ме търсеха; Явен станах на тия, които не питаха за Мене;

21 B ut unto Israel he says, All the day long I have stretched out my hands unto a people disobeying and opposing.

а за Израиля казва: - "Простирах ръцете Си цял ден Към люде непокорни и опаки"
