1 W ho is this that cometh from Edom, with deep-red garments from Bozrah, this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength?—I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

Кой е този, що иде от Едом, С очервени дрехи от Восора, Този славен в облеклото си, Който ходи във величието на силата си? Аз съм, Който говоря с правда, Мощен да спасявам.

2 — Wherefore is redness in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat?

Защо е червено облеклото Ти, И дрехите Ти подобни на <ония на човек>, който тъпче в лин?

3 I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples not a man was with me; and I have trodden them in mine anger, and trampled them in my fury; and their blood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all mine apparel.

Аз сам изтъпках лина, И от племената не бе с Мене ни един човек; Да! стъпках ги в гнева Си, И смазах ги в яростта Си, Тъй че кръвта им попръска дрехите Ми, И изцапах цялото Си облекло.

4 F or the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed had come.

Защото денят за въздаянието бе в сърцето Ми, И годината Ми за изкупване настана.

5 A nd I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: and mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

Аз разгледах, но нямаше кой да помага, И зачудих се, че нямаше кой да подкрепя; Затова, Моята мишца Ми изработи спасение, И Моята ярост, тя Ме подкрепи.

6 A nd I have trodden down the peoples in mine anger, and made them drunk in my fury; and their blood have I brought down to the earth.

Аз стъпках племената в гнева Си, Опих ги с яростта Си, И излях кръвта им в земята.

7 I will record the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which he hath bestowed upon them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.

Ще спомена милосърдията Господни, <Причините> за хвалене Господа За всичко, що ни е подарил Господ, И за голямата благост към Израилевия дом, Която им показа според щедростите Си, И според премногото Си милости.

8 A nd he said, They are indeed my people, children that will not lie; and he became their Saviour.

Защото рече: Наистина те са Мои люде, Чада, които не ще постъпят невярно; Така им стана Спасител.

9 I n all their affliction he was afflicted, and the Angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them and carried them all the days of old.

Във всичките им скърби Той скърбеше, И ангелът на присъствието Му ги избави; Поради любовта Си и поради милосърдието Си Той сам ги изкупи, Дигна ги и носи ги през всичките древни дни.

10 B ut they rebelled and grieved his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy; himself, he fought against them.

Но те се разбунтуваха и оскърбиха Светия Негов Дух; Затова Той се обърна та им стана неприятел, И сам воюва против тях.

11 B ut he remembered the days of old, Moses his people: Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he that put his holy Spirit within him,

Тогава людете Му си спомниха за старите Моисееви времена, <и казваха: >Где е Оня, Който ги възведе от морето Чрез пастирите на стадото Си? - Где е оня, който положи Светия Си Дух всред тях? -

12 h is glorious arm leading them by the right hand of Moses, dividing the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name,

Който направи славната Си мишца Да върви до Моисеевата десница? Който раздели водата пред тях, За да си придобие вечно име? -

13 — who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, they stumbled not?

Който ги води през бездната, Като кон през пасбище, без да се препънат?

14 A s cattle go down into the valley, the Spirit of Jehovah gave them rest; so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.

Духът Господен ги успокои Като добитъкът, който слиза в долината; Така си водил людете Си, За да си придобиеш славно име.

15 L ook down from the heavens, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory! Where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy tender mercies? Are they restrained toward me?

Погледни от небесата И виж от светото Си и славно обиталище, Где са ревността Ти и могъществените Ти дела? Ожидането на Твоите милости и щедрости е въздържано спрямо мене.

16 F or thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, Jehovah, art our Father; our Redeemer, from everlasting, is thy name.

Защото Ти си наш Отец, Ако и да не ни знае Авраам И да не ни признае Израил; Ти, Господи, си наш Отец; Твоето име е наш вечен Изкупител.

17 W hy, O Jehovah, hast thou made us to err from thy ways, hast hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

Защо си допуснал, Господи, да се отклоняваме от пътищата Ти, Да ожесточаваме сърцата си та да не Ти се боим? Върни се заради слугите Си, Племената на Твоето наследство.

18 T hy holy people have possessed but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.

Малко време го владяха Твоите свети люде; Противниците ни потъпкаха светилището Ти.

19 W e have become over whom thou never barest rule, those not called by thy name.

Ние сме станали като ония, над които Ти никога не си владял, Като ония, които не са били наричани с името Ти.
