1 A nd it came to pass after these things, the cup-bearer of the king of Egypt and the baker offended their lord the king of Egypt.

След това, виночерпецът и хлебарят на Египетския цар се провиниха пред господаря си, Египетския цар.

2 A nd Pharaoh was wroth with his two chamberlains—with the chief of the cup-bearers and with the chief of the bakers;

Та Фараон, като се разгневи на двамата си придворни - началника на виночерпците и началника на хлебарите -

3 a nd he put them in custody into the house of the captain of the life-guard, into the tower-house, into the place where Joseph was imprisoned.

тури ги под стража, в дома на началника на телохранителите, в крепостната тъмница, в мястото, гдето Иосиф бе затворен.

4 A nd the captain of the life-guard appointed Joseph to them, that he should attend on them. And they were days in custody.

А началникът на телохранителите постави при тях Иосифа, и той им слугуваше; и те останаха известно време в тъмницата.

5 A nd they dreamed a dream, both of them in one night, each his dream, each according to the interpretation of his dream, the cup-bearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were imprisoned in the tower-house.

И виночерпецът и хлебарят на Египетския цар, които бяха затворени в крепостната тъмница, сънуваха и двамата сън, всеки <видя> съня си в същата нощ, всеки според както щеше да се тълкува съновидението му.

6 A nd Joseph came in to them in the morning, and looked on them, and behold, they were sad.

И Иосиф, като влезе при тях на утринта и видя, че бяха смутени,

7 A nd he asked Pharaoh's chamberlains that were with him in custody in his lord's house, saying, Why are your faces sad to-day?

попита Фараоновите придворни, които бяха заедно с него в тъмницата, в дома на неговия господар, казвайки: Защо изглеждате тъй скръбни днес?

8 A nd they said to him, We have dreamt a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said to them, not interpretations to God? tell me, I pray you.

А те му казаха: Видяхме сън, а няма кой да го изтълкува. И Иосиф им рече: Тълкуванията не са ли от Бога? Разкажете ми го, моля.

9 T hen the chief of the cup-bearers told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;

Тогава началникът на виночерпците разказа своя сън на Иосифа, като му рече: В съня ми, ето лоза пред мене;

10 a nd in the vine were three branches; and it was as though it budded: its blossoms shot forth, its clusters ripened into grapes.

и на лозата имаше три пръчки, и виждаше се, като че напъпваше и цветовете й цъфтяха и гроздовете на лозата узряха.

11 A nd Pharaoh's cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

А Фараоновата чаша беше в ръката ми; и взех гроздето, изстисках го във Фараоновата чаша и подадох чашата във Фараоновата ръка.

12 A nd Joseph said to him, This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three days.

И Иосиф му рече: Ето значението му: трите пръчки са три дни.

13 I n yet three days will Pharaoh lift up thy head and restore thee to thy place, and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his cup-bearer.

След три дена Фараон ще издигне главата ти и ще те възстанови на службата ти; и ще поднасяш чашата във Фараоновата ръка, както преди, когато ти му беше виночерпец.

14 O nly bear a remembrance with thee of me when it goes well with thee, and deal kindly, I pray thee, with me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house;

Но спомни си за мене, когато те постигне благополучието, смили се, моля, за мене, та продумай на Фараона за мене и избави ме от тоя дом.

15 f or indeed I was stolen out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

Понеже наистина бях откраднат от Еврейската земя, а пък тук не съм сторил нищо, за да ме хвърлят в тая яма.

16 A nd when the chief of the bakers saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, I also was in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.

Като видя началникът на хлебарите, че той тълкува добре, рече на Иосифа: И аз сънувах; и, ето, три кошници с бял хляб бяха на главата ми:

17 A nd in the uppermost basket there were all manner of victuals for Pharaoh that the baker makes, and the birds ate them out of the basket upon my head.

в най-горната кошница имаше от всякакви ястия за Фараона; и птиците ги ядяха от кошницата на главата ми.

18 A nd Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation of it: the three baskets are three days.

А Иосиф в отговор каза: Ето значението му: трите кошници са трите дни.

19 I n yet three days will Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and hang thee on a tree; and the birds will eat thy flesh from off thee.

След три дни Фараон ще ти отнеме главата, като те обеси на дърво; и птиците ще изкълват месата ти от тебе.

20 A nd it came to pass the third day—Pharaoh's birthday—that he made a feast to all his bondmen. And he lifted up the head of the chief of the cup-bearers, and the head of the chief of the bakers among his bondmen.

След три дни, на рождения си ден, Фараон направи угощение на всичките си слуги; и издигна главата на началника на виночерпците и главата на началника на хлебарите между слугите си:

21 A nd he restored the chief of the cup-bearers to his office of cup-bearer again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

Началника на виночерпците възстанови на служба и той подаваше чашата във Фараоновата ръка;

22 A nd he hanged the chief of the bakers, as Joseph had interpreted to them.

а началника на хлебарите обеси, според, както Иосиф бе изтълкувал <сънищата> им.

23 B ut the chief of the cup-bearers did not remember Joseph, and forgot him.

А началникът на виночерпците не си спомни за Иосифа, но го забрави.
