1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go unto the house of Jehovah.

(121-1) ^^Песнь восхождения. Давида.^^ Возрадовался я, когда сказали мне: 'пойдем в дом Господень'.

2 O ur feet are standing Within thy gates, O Jerusalem,

(121-2) Вот, стоят ноги наши во вратах твоих, Иерусалим, --

3 J erusalem, that art builded As a city that is compact together;

(121-3) Иерусалим, устроенный как город, слитый в одно,

4 W hither the tribes go up, even the tribes of Jehovah, For an ordinance for Israel, To give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

(121-4) куда восходят колена, колена Господни, по закону Израилеву, славить имя Господне.

5 F or there are set thrones for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.

(121-5) Там стоят престолы суда, престолы дома Давидова.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.

(121-6) Просите мира Иерусалиму: да благоденствуют любящие тебя!

7 P eace be within thy walls, And prosperity within thy palaces.

(121-7) Да будет мир в стенах твоих, благоденствие--в чертогах твоих!

8 F or my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

(121-8) Ради братьев моих и ближних моих говорю я: 'мир тебе!'

9 F or the sake of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.

(121-9) Ради дома Господа, Бога нашего, желаю блага тебе.
