1 T he fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good.

(52-1) ^^Начальнику хора. На духовом. Учение Давида.^^ (52-2) Сказал безумец в сердце своем: 'нет Бога'. Развратились они и совершили гнусные преступления; нет делающего добро.

2 G od looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.

(52-3) Бог с небес призрел на сынов человеческих, чтобы видеть, есть ли разумеющий, ищущий Бога.

3 E very one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(52-4) Все уклонились, сделались равно непотребными; нет делающего добро, нет ни одного.

4 H ave the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon God?

(52-5) Неужели не вразумятся делающие беззаконие, съедающие народ мой, едят хлеб, и не призывающие Бога?

5 T here were they in great fear, where no fear was; For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: Thou hast put them to shame, because of God hath rejected them.

(52-6) Там убоятся они страха, где нет страха, ибо рассыплет Бог кости ополчающихся против тебя. Ты постыдишь их, потому что Бог отверг их.

6 O h that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

(52-7) Кто даст с Сиона спасение Израилю! Когда Бог возвратит пленение народа Своего, тогда возрадуется Иаков и возвеселится Израиль.
