1 T hey that trust in Jehovah Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.

(124-1) ^^Песнь восхождения.^^ Надеющийся на Господа, как гора Сион, не подвигнется: пребывает вовек.

2 A s the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Jehovah is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore.

(124-2) Горы окрест Иерусалима, а Господь окрест народа Своего отныне и вовек.

3 F or the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; That the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity.

(124-3) Ибо не оставит жезла нечестивых над жребием праведных, дабы праведные не простерли рук своих к беззаконию.

4 D o good, O Jehovah, unto those that are good, And to them that are upright in their hearts.

(124-4) Благотвори, Господи, добрым и правым в сердцах своих;

5 B ut as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.

(124-5) а совращающихся на кривые пути свои да оставит Господь ходить с делающими беззаконие. Мир на Израиля!
