O the happiness of those perfect in the way, They are walking in the law of Jehovah,

2 B ienaventurados los que guardan sus testimonios, Y con todo el corazón le buscan:

O the happiness of those keeping His testimonies, With the whole heart they seek Him.

3 P ues no hacen iniquidad Los que andan en sus caminos.

Yea, they have not done iniquity, In His ways they have walked.

4 T ú encargaste Que sean muy guardados tus mandamientos.

Thou hast commanded us Thy precepts to keep diligently,

5 O jalá fuesen ordenados mis caminos A observar tus estatutos!

O that my ways were prepared to keep Thy statutes,

6 E ntonces no sería yo avergonzado, Cuando atendiese á todos tus mandamientos.

Then I am not ashamed In my looking unto all Thy commands.

7 T e alabaré con rectitud de corazón, Cuando aprendiere los juicios de tu justicia.

I confess Thee with uprightness of heart, In my learning the judgments of Thy righteousness.

8 T us estatutos guardaré: No me dejes enteramente. Beth

Thy statutes I keep, leave me not utterly!

9 ¿ Con qué limpiará el joven su camino? Con guardar tu palabra.

With what doth a young man purify his path? To observe -- according to Thy word.

10 C on todo mi corazón te he buscado: No me dejes divagar de tus mandamientos.

With all my heart I have sought Thee, Let me not err from Thy commands.

11 E n mi corazón he guardado tus dichos, Para no pecar contra ti.

In my heart I have hid Thy saying, That I sin not before Thee.

12 B endito tú, oh Jehová: Enséñame tus estatutos.

Blessed Thou, O Jehovah, teach me Thy statutes.

13 C on mis labios he contado Todos los juicios de tu boca.

With my lips I have recounted All the judgments of Thy mouth.

14 H eme gozado en el camino de tus testimonios, Como sobre toda riqueza.

In the way of Thy testimonies I have joyed, As over all wealth.

15 E n tus mandamientos meditaré, Consideraré tus caminos.

In Thy precepts I meditate, And I behold attentively Thy paths.

16 R ecrearéme en tus estatutos: No me olvidaré de tus palabras. Gimel

In Thy statutes I delight myself, I do not forget Thy word.

17 H az bien á tu siervo; que viva Y guarde tu palabra.

Confer benefits on Thy servant, I live, and I keep Thy word.

18 A bre mis ojos, y miraré Las maravillas de tu ley.

Uncover mine eyes, and I behold wonders out of Thy law.

19 A dvenedizo soy yo en la tierra: No encubras de mí tus mandamientos.

A sojourner I on earth, Hide not from me Thy commands.

20 Q uebrantada está mi alma de desear Tus juicios en todo tiempo.

Broken hath my soul for desire Unto Thy judgments at all times.

21 D estruiste á los soberbios malditos, Que se desvían de tus mandamientos.

Thou hast rebuked the cursed proud, Who are erring from Thy commands.

22 A parta de mí oprobio y menosprecio; Porque tus testimonios he guardado.

Remove from me reproach and contempt, For Thy testimonies I have kept.

23 P ríncipes también se sentaron y hablaron contra mí: Mas tu siervo meditaba en tus estatutos.

Princes also sat -- against me they spoke, Thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes,

24 P ues tus testimonios son mis deleites, Y mis consejeros. Daleth

Thy testimonies also my delight, The men of my counsel!

25 P egóse al polvo mi alma: Vivifícame según tu palabra.

Cleaved to the dust hath my soul, Quicken me according to Thy word.

26 M is caminos te conté, y me has respondido: Enséñame tus estatutos.

My ways I have recounted, And Thou answerest me, teach me Thy statutes,

27 H azme entender el camino de tus mandamientos, Y hablaré de tus maravillas.

The way of Thy precepts cause me to understand, And I meditate in Thy wonders.

28 D eshácese mi alma de ansiedad: Corrobórame según tu palabra.

My soul hath dropped from affliction, Establish me according to Thy word.

29 A parta de mí camino de mentira; Y hazme la gracia de tu ley.

The way of falsehood turn aside from me And with Thy law favour me.

30 E scogí el camino de la verdad; He puesto tus juicios delante de mí.

The way of faithfulness I have chosen, Thy judgments I have compared,

31 A llegádome he á tus testimonios; Oh Jehová, no me avergüences.

I have adhered to Thy testimonies, O Jehovah, put me not to shame.

32 P or el camino de tus mandamientos correré, Cuando ensanchares mi corazón. He

The way of Thy commands I run, For Thou dost enlarge my heart!

33 E nséñame, oh Jehová, el camino de tus estatutos, Y guardarélo hasta el fin.

Show me, O Jehovah, the way of Thy statutes, And I keep it -- the end.

34 D ame entendimiento, y guardaré tu ley; Y la observaré de todo corazón.

Cause me to understand, and I keep Thy law, And observe it with the whole heart.

35 G uíame por la senda de tus mandamientos; Porque en ella tengo mi voluntad.

Cause me to tread in the path of Thy commands, For in it I have delighted.

36 I nclina mi corazón á tus testimonios, Y no á la avaricia.

Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, And not unto dishonest gain.

37 A parta mis ojos, que no vean la vanidad; Avívame en tu camino.

Remove mine eyes from seeing vanity, In Thy way quicken Thou me.

38 C onfirma tu palabra á tu siervo, Que te teme.

Establish to Thy servant Thy saying, That concerning Thy fear.

39 Q uita de mí el oprobio que he temido: Porque buenos son tus juicios.

Remove my reproach that I have feared, For Thy judgments good.

40 H e aquí yo he codiciado tus mandamientos: Vivifícame en tu justicia. Vav

Lo, I have longed for Thy precepts, In Thy righteousness quicken Thou me,

41 Y venga á mí tu misericordia, oh Jehová; Tu salud, conforme á tu dicho.

And meet me doth Thy kindness, O Jehovah, Thy salvation according to Thy saying.

42 Y daré por respuesta á mi avergonzador, Que en tu palabra he confiado.

And I answer him who is reproaching me a word, For I have trusted in Thy word.

43 Y no quites de mi boca en nigún tiempo la palabra de verdad; Porque á tu juicio espero.

And Thou takest not utterly away From my mouth the word of truth, Because for Thy judgment I have hoped.

44 Y guardaré tu ley siempre, Por siglo de siglo.

And I keep Thy law continually, To the age and for ever.

45 Y andaré en anchura, Porque busqué tus mandamientos.

And I walk habitually in a broad place, For Thy precepts I have sought.

46 Y hablaré de tus testimonios delante de los reyes, Y no me avergonzaré.

And I speak of Thy testimonies before kings, And I am not ashamed.

47 Y deleitaréme en tus mandamientos, Que he amado.

And I delight myself in Thy commands, That I have loved,

48 A lzaré asimismo mis manos á tus mandamientos que amé; Y meditaré en tus estatutos. Zayin

And I lift up my hands unto Thy commands, That I have loved, And I do meditate on Thy statutes!

49 A cuérdate de la palabra dada á tu siervo, En la cual me has hecho esperar.

Remember the word to Thy servant, On which Thou hast caused me to hope.

50 E sta es mi consuelo en mi aflicción: Porque tu dicho me ha vivificado.

This my comfort in mine affliction, That Thy saying hath quickened me.

51 L os soberbios se burlaron mucho de mí: Mas no me he apartado de tu ley.

The proud have utterly scorned me, From Thy law I have not turned aside.

52 A cordéme, oh Jehová, de tus juicios antiguos, Y consoléme.

I remembered Thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, And I comfort myself.

53 H orror se apoderó de mí, á causa De los impíos que dejan tu ley.

Horror hath seized me, Because of the wicked forsaking Thy law.

54 C ánticos me fueron tus estatutos En la mansión de mis peregrinaciones.

Songs have been to me Thy statutes, In the house of my sojournings.

55 A cordéme en la noche de tu nombre, oh Jehová, Y guardé tu ley.

I have remembered in the night Thy name, O Jehovah, And I do keep Thy law.

56 E sto tuve, Porque guardaba tus mandamientos. Jet

This hath been to me, That Thy precepts I have kept!

57 M i porción, oh Jehová, Dije, será guardar tus palabras.

My portion Jehovah; I have said -- to keep Thy words,

I appeased Thy face with the whole heart, Favour me according to Thy saying.

59 C onsideré mis caminos, Y torné mis pies á tus testimonios.

I have reckoned my ways, And turn back my feet unto Thy testimonies.

60 A presuréme, y no me retardé En guardar tus mandamientos.

I have made haste, And delayed not, to keep Thy commands.

61 C ompañía de impíos me han robado: Mas no me he olvidado de tu ley.

Cords of the wicked have surrounded me, Thy law I have not forgotten.

62 A media noche me levantaba á alabarte Sobre los juicios de tu justicia.

At midnight I rise to give thanks to Thee, For the judgments of Thy righteousness.

63 C ompañero soy yo de todos los que te temieren Y guardaren tus mandamientos.

A companion I to all who fear Thee, And to those keeping Thy precepts.

64 D e tu misericordia, oh Jehová, está llena la tierra: Enséñame tus estatutos. Teth

Of Thy kindness, O Jehovah, the earth is full, Thy statutes teach Thou me!

65 B ien has hecho con tu siervo, Oh Jehová, conforme á tu palabra.

Good Thou didst with Thy servant, O Jehovah, According to Thy word.

66 E nséñame bondad de sentido y sabiduría; Porque tus mandamientos he creído.

The goodness of reason and knowledge teach me, For in Thy commands I have believed.

67 A ntes que fuera yo humillado, descarriado andaba; Mas ahora guardo tu palabra.

Before I am afflicted, I -- I am erring, And now Thy saying I have kept.

68 B ueno eres tú, y bienhechor: Enséñame tus estatutos.

Good Thou, and doing good, Teach me Thy statutes.

69 C ontra mí forjaron mentira los soberbios: Mas yo guardaré de todo corazón tus mandamientos.

Forged against me falsehood have the proud, I with the whole heart keep Thy precepts.

70 E ngrasóse el corazón de ellos como sebo; Mas yo en tu ley me he deleitado.

Insensate as fat hath been their heart, I -- in Thy law I have delighted.

71 B ueno me es haber sido humillado, Para que aprenda tus estatutos.

Good for me that I have been afflicted, That I might learn Thy statutes.

72 M ejor me es la ley de tu boca, Que millares de oro y plata. Yod

Better to me the law of Thy mouth Than thousands of gold and silver!

73 T us manos me hicieron y me formaron: Hazme entender, y aprenderé tus mandamientos.

Thy hands made me and establish me, Cause me to understand, and I learn Thy commands.

74 L os que te temen, me verán, y se alegrarán; Porque en tu palabra he esperado.

Those fearing Thee see me and rejoice, Because for Thy word I have hoped.

75 C onozco, oh Jehová, que tus juicios son justicia, Y que conforme á tu fidelidad me afligiste.

I have known, O Jehovah, That righteous Thy judgments, And faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.

76 S ea ahora tu misericordia para consolarme, Conforme á lo que has dicho á tu siervo.

Let, I pray Thee, Thy kindness be to comfort me, According to Thy saying to Thy servant.

77 V engan á mí tus misericordias, y viva; Porque tu ley es mi deleite.

Meet me do Thy mercies, and I live, For Thy law my delight.

78 S ean avergonzados los soberbios, porque sin causa me han calumniado: Yo empero, meditaré en tus mandamientos.

Ashamed are the proud, For falsehood they dealt perversely with me. I meditate in Thy precepts.

79 T órnense á mí los que te temen Y conocen tus testimonios.

Those fearing Thee turn back to me, And those knowing Thy testimonies.

80 S ea mi corazón íntegro en tus estatutos; Porque no sea yo avergonzado. Kaf

My heart is perfect in Thy statutes, So that I am not ashamed.

81 D esfallece mi alma por tu salud, Esperando en tu palabra.

Consumed for Thy salvation hath been my soul, For Thy word I have hoped.

82 D esfallecieron mis ojos por tu palabra, Diciendo: ¿Cuándo me consolarás?

Consumed have been mine eyes for Thy word, Saying, `When doth it comfort me?'

83 P orque estoy como el odre al humo; Mas no he olvidado tus estatutos.

For I have been as a bottle in smoke, Thy statutes I have not forgotten.

84 ¿ Cuántos son los días de tu siervo? ¿Cuándo harás juicio contra los que me persiguen?

How many the days of Thy servant? When dost Thou execute Against my pursuers judgment?

85 L os soberbios me han cavado hoyos; Mas no obran según tu ley.

The proud have digged for me pits, That not according to Thy law.

86 T odos tus mandamientos son verdad: Sin causa me persiguen; ayúdame.

All Thy commands faithfulness, falsehood they have pursued me, Help Thou me.

87 C asi me han echado por tierra: Mas yo no he dejado tus mandamientos.

Almost consumed me on earth have they, And I -- I have not forsaken Thy precepts.

88 V ivifícame conforme á tu misericordia; Y guardaré los testimonios de tu boca. Lamed

According to Thy kindness quicken Thou me, And I keep the testimony of Thy mouth!

89 P ara siempre, oh Jehová, Permenece tu palabra en los cielos.

To the age, O Jehovah, Thy word is set up in the heavens.

90 P or generación y generación es tu verdad: Tú afirmaste la tierra, y persevera.

To all generations Thy faithfulness, Thou didst establish earth, and it standeth.

91 P or tu ordenación perseveran hasta hoy las cosas criadas; Porque todas ellas te sirven.

According to Thine ordinances They have stood this day, for the whole Thy servants.

92 S i tu ley no hubiese sido mis delicias, Ya en mi aflicción hubiera perecido.

Unless Thy law my delights, Then had I perished in mine affliction.

93 N unca jamás me olvidaré de tus mandamientos; Porque con ellos me has vivificado.

To the age I forget not Thy precepts, For by them Thou hast quickened me.

94 T uyo soy yo, guárdame; Porque he buscado tus mandamientos.

I Thine, save Thou me, For Thy precepts I have sought.

95 L os impíos me han aguardado para destruirme: Mas yo entenderé en tus testimonios.

Thy wicked waited for me to destroy me, Thy testimonies I understand.

96 A toda perfección he visto fin: Ancho sobremanera es tu mandamiento. Mem

Of all perfection I have seen an end, Broad Thy command -- exceedingly!

O how I have loved Thy law! All the day it my meditation.

98 M e has hecho más sabio que mis enemigos con tus mandamientos; Porque me son eternos.

Than mine enemies Thy command maketh me wiser, For it before me to the age.

99 M ás que todos mis enseñadores he entendido: Porque tus testimonios son mi meditación.

Above all my teachers I have acted wisely. For Thy testimonies my meditation.

100 M ás que los viejos he entendido, Porque he guardado tus mandamientos.

Above elders I understand more, For Thy precepts I have kept.

From every evil path I restrained my feet, So that I keep Thy word.

From Thy judgments I turned not aside, For Thou -- Thou hast directed me.

How sweet to my palate hath been Thy saying, Above honey to my mouth.

From Thy precepts I have understanding, Therefore I have hated every false path!

A lamp to my foot Thy word, And a light to my path.

106 J uré y ratifiqué El guardar los juicios de tu justicia.

I have sworn, and I confirm, To keep the judgments of Thy righteousness.

107 A fligido estoy en gran manera: oh Jehová, Vivifícame conforme á tu palabra.

I have been afflicted very much, O Jehovah, quicken me, according to Thy word.

108 R uégote, oh Jehová, te sean agradables los sacrificios voluntarios de mi boca; Y enséñame tus juicios.

Free-will-offerings of my mouth, Accept, I pray Thee, O Jehovah, And Thy judgments teach Thou me.

My hiding place and my shield Thou, For Thy word I have hoped.

Turn aside from me, ye evil-doers, And I keep the commands of my God.

116 S usténtame conforme á tu palabra, y viviré: Y no me avergüences de mi esperanza.

Sustain me according to Thy saying, And I live, and Thou puttest me not to shame Because of my hope.

117 S osténme, y seré salvo; Y deleitaréme siempre en tus estatutos.

Support Thou me, and I am saved, And I look on Thy statutes continually.

118 H ollaste á todos los que se desvían de tus estatutos: Porque mentira es su engaño.

Thou hast trodden down All going astray from Thy statutes, For falsehood their deceit.

119 C omo escorias hiciste consumir á todos los impíos de la tierra: Por tanto yo he amado tus testimonios.

Dross! Thou hast caused to cease All the wicked of the earth; Therefore I have loved Thy testimonies.

120 M i carne se ha extremecido por temor de ti; Y de tus juicios tengo miedo. Ain

Trembled from Thy fear hath my flesh, And from Thy judgments I have been afraid!

121 J uicio y justicia he hecho; No me dejes á mis opresores.

I have done judgment and righteousness, Leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 R esponde por tu siervo para bien: No me hagan violencia los soberbios.

Make sure Thy servant for good, Let not the proud oppress me.

123 M is ojos desfallecieron por tu salud, Y por el dicho de tu justicia.

Mine eyes have been consumed for Thy salvation. And for the saying of Thy righteousness.

124 H az con tu siervo según tu misericordia, Y enséñame tus estatutos.

Do with Thy servant according to Thy kindness. And Thy statutes teach Thou me.

125 T u siervo soy yo, dame entendimiento; Para que sepa tus testimonios.

Thy servant I -- cause me to understand, And I know Thy testimonies.

126 T iempo es de hacer, oh Jehová; Disipado han tu ley.

Time for Jehovah to work! they have made void Thy law.

The opening of Thy words enlighteneth, Instructing the simple.

My mouth I have opened, yea, I pant, For, for Thy commands I have longed.

Look unto me, and favour me, As customary to those loving Thy name.

133 O rdena mis pasos con tu palabra; Y ninguna iniquidad se enseñoree de mí.

My steps establish by Thy saying, And any iniquity doth not rule over me.

134 R edímeme de la violencia de los hombres; Y guardaré tus mandamientos.

Ransom me from the oppression of man, And I observe Thy precepts,

Thy face cause to shine on Thy servant, And teach me Thy statutes.

Adversity and distress have found me, Thy commands my delights.

I have seen treacherous ones, And grieve myself, Because Thy saying they have not kept.

The sum of Thy word truth, And to the age every judgment of Thy righteousness!

Princes have pursued me without cause, And because of Thy words was my heart afraid.

162 G ózome yo en tu palabra, Como el que halla muchos despojos.

I do rejoice concerning Thy saying, As one finding abundant spoil.

163 L a mentira aborrezco y abomino: Tu ley amo.

Falsehood I have hated, yea I abominate, Thy law I have loved.

164 S iete veces al día te alabo Sobre los juicios de tu justicia.

Seven in a day I have praised Thee, Because of the judgments of Thy righteousness.

165 M ucha paz tienen los que aman tu ley; Y no hay para ellos tropiezo.

Abundant peace have those loving Thy law, And they have no stumbling-block.

166 T u salud he esperado, oh Jehová; Y tus mandamientos he puesto por obra.

I have waited for Thy salvation, O Jehovah, And Thy commands I have done.

167 M i alma ha guardado tus testimonios, Y helos amado en gran manera.

Kept hath my soul Thy testimonies, And I do love them exceedingly.

168 G uardado he tus mandamientos y tus testimonios; Porque todos mis caminos están delante de ti. Tau

I have kept Thy precepts and Thy testimonies, For all my ways are before Thee!

169 A cérquese mi clamor delante de ti, oh Jehová: Dame entendimiento conforme á tu palabra.

My loud cry cometh near before Thee, O Jehovah; According to Thy word cause me to understand.

170 V enga mi oración delante de ti: Líbrame conforme á tu dicho.

My supplication cometh in before Thee, According to Thy saying deliver Thou me.

171 M is labios rebosarán alabanza, Cuando me enseñares tus estatutos.

My lips do utter praise, For Thou dost teach me Thy statutes.

172 H ablará mi lengua tus dichos; Porque todos tus mandamientos son justicia.

My tongue doth sing of Thy saying, For all Thy commands righteous.

173 S ea tu mano en mi socorro; Porque tus mandamientos he escogido.

Thy hand is for a help to me, For Thy commands I have chosen.

174 D eseado he tu salud, oh Jehová; Y tu ley es mi delicia.

I have longed for Thy salvation, O Jehovah, And Thy law my delight.

175 V iva mi alma y alábete; Y tus juicios me ayuden.

My soul liveth, and it doth praise Thee, And Thy judgments do help me.

176 Y o anduve errante como oveja extraviada; busca á tu siervo; Porque no me he olvidado de tus mandamientos.

I wandered as a lost sheep, seek Thy servant, For Thy precepts I have not forgotten!
