1 ¡ Cuán amables son tus moradas, oh SEÑOR de los ejércitos!

To the Overseer. -- `On the Gittith By sons of Korah.' -- A Psalm. How beloved Thy tabernacles, Jehovah of Hosts!

2 C odicia y aun ardientemente desea mi alma los atrios del SEÑOR; mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo.

My soul desired, yea, it hath also been consumed, For the courts of Jehovah, My heart and my flesh cry aloud unto the living God,

3 A un el gorrión halla casa, y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus pollos en tus altares, oh SEÑOR de los ejércitos, Rey mío, y Dios mío.

(Even a sparrow hath found a house, And a swallow a nest for herself, Where she hath placed her brood,) Thine altars, O Jehovah of Hosts, My king and my God.

4 D ichosos los que habitan en tu Casa; perpetuamente te alabarán (Selah.)

O the happiness of those inhabiting Thy house, Yet do they praise Thee. Selah.

5 D ichoso el hombre que tiene su fortaleza en ti; en cuyo corazón están tus caminos.

O the happiness of a man whose strength is in Thee, Highways in their heart.

6 C uando pasaren por el valle de Abaca lo tornarán en fuente, la lluvia también llenará las cisternas.

Those passing through a valley of weeping, A fountain do make it, Blessings also cover the director.

7 I rán en gran multitud y en orden, verán a Dios en Sion.

They go from strength unto strength, He appeareth unto God in Zion.

8 ¶ SEÑOR Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración; escucha, oh Dios de Jacob (Selah.)

O Jehovah, God of Hosts, hear my prayer, Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9 M ira, oh Dios, escudo nuestro, y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu Ungido.

Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Thine anointed,

10 P orque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos; escogí antes estar a la puerta en la Casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

For good a day in Thy courts, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.

11 P orque sol y escudo nos es el SEÑOR Dios; gracia y gloria dará el SEÑOR; no quitará el bien a los que andan en integridad.

For a sun and a shield Jehovah God, Grace and honour doth Jehovah give. He withholdeth not good To those walking in uprightness.

12 S EÑOR de los ejércitos, dichoso el hombre que confía en ti.

Jehovah of Hosts! O the happiness of a man trusting in Thee.
