1 Y aconteció en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, al primero del mes, que vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

And it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

2 H ijo de hombre, levanta endechas sobre Faraón rey de Egipto, y dile: A leoncillo de naciones eres semejante, y eres como el dragón en los mares, que secabas tus ríos, y enturbiabas las aguas con tus pies, y hollabas sus riberas.

`Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou hast said unto him: A young lion of nations thou hast been like, And thou as a dragon in the seas, And thou comest forth with thy flowings, And dost trouble the waters with thy feet, And thou dost foul their flowings.

3 A sí dijo el Señor DIOS: Yo extenderé sobre ti mi red con reunión de muchos pueblos, y te harán subir con mi red.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And -- I have spread out for thee My net, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought thee up in My net.

4 Y te dejaré en tierra, te echaré sobre la faz del campo, y haré que se asienten sobre ti todas las aves del cielo, y saciaré de ti las bestias de toda la tierra.

And I have left thee in the land, On the face of the field I do cast thee out, And have caused to dwell upon thee every fowl of the heavens, And have satisfied out of thee the beasts of the whole earth.

5 Y pondré tus carnes sobre los montes, y llenaré los valles de tu altura.

And I have put thy flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys thy hugeness,

6 Y regaré de tu sangre la tierra donde nadas, hasta los montes; y los arroyos se llenarán de ti.

And watered the land with thy flowing, From thy blood -- unto the mountains, And streams are filled from thee.

7 Y cuando te hubiere muerto, cubriré los cielos, y haré entenebrecer sus estrellas; el sol cubriré con nublado, y la luna no hará resplandecer su luz.

And in quenching thee I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causeth not its light to shine.

8 T odas las lumbreras de luz haré entenebrecer en el cielo por ti, y pondré tinieblas sobre tu tierra, dijo el Señor DIOS.

All luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over thee, And I have given darkness over thy land, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,

9 Y entristeceré el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando llevare tu quebrantamiento sobre los gentiles, por las tierras que no conociste.

And I have vexed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in thy destruction among nations, Unto lands that thou hast not known.

10 Y haré atónitos sobre ti muchos pueblos, y sus reyes tendrán a causa de ti horror grande, cuando haga resplandecer mi espada delante de sus rostros, y todos se sobresaltarán en sus ánimos a cada momento en el día de tu caída.

And I have made many peoples astonished at thee, And their kings are afraid at thee with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life -- in the day of thy fall.

11 P orque así dijo el Señor DIOS: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.

For thus said the Lord Jehovah: A sword of the king of Babylon entereth thee,

12 C on espadas de fuertes haré caer tu pueblo; todos ellos serán los fuertes de los gentiles; y destruirán la soberbia de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.

By swords of the mighty I cause thy multitude to fall, The terrible of nations -- all of them, And they have spoiled the excellency of Egypt, And destroyed hath been all her multitude.

13 T odas sus bestias destruiré de sobre las muchas aguas; ni más las enturbiará pie de hombre, ni pezuña de bestia las enturbiará.

And I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And trouble them not doth a foot of man any more, Yea, the hoofs of beasts trouble them not.

14 E ntonces haré hundir sus aguas, y haré ir sus acequias como aceite, dijo el Señor DIOS.

Then do I cause their waters to sink, And their rivers as oil I cause to go, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

15 C uando asolare la tierra de Egipto, y la tierra fuere asolada de su plenitud, cuando herire a todos los que en ella moran, sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR.

In My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And desolated hath been the land of its fulness, In My smiting all the inhabitants in it, And they have known that I Jehovah.

16 E sta es la endecha, y la cantarán; las hijas de los gentiles la cantarán; endecharán sobre Egipto, y sobre toda su multitud, dijo el Señor DIOS.

A lamentation it, and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations do lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

17 Y aconteció en el año duodécimo, a los quince del mes, que vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

And it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

18 H ijo de hombre, endecha sobre la multitud de Egipto, y despéñalo a él, y a las villas de los gentiles fuertes, en la tierra de los profundos, con los que descienden a la sepultura.

`Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It -- and the daughters of honourable nations, Unto the earth -- the lower parts, With those going down to the pit.

19 P orque eres tan hermoso, desciende, y yace con los incircuncisos.

Than whom hast thou been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

20 E ntre los muertos a espada caerán; a la espada es entregado; traedle a él y a todos sus pueblos.

In the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.

21 D e en medio del Seol hablarán a él los fuertes de los fuertes, con los que le ayudaron, que descendieron, y yacen con los incircuncisos muertos a espada.

Speak to him do the gods of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers -- they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword.

22 A llí el Assur con todo su ayuntamiento; en derredor de él están sus sepulcros; todos ellos cayeron muertos a espada.

There Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him his graves, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword,

23 S us sepulcros fueron puestos a los lados de la huesa, y su ayuntamiento está por los alrededores de su sepulcro; todos ellos cayeron muertos a espada, los cuales pusieron miedo en la tierra de los vivientes.

Whose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.

24 A llí Elam, y toda su multitud por los alrededores de su sepulcro; todos ellos cayeron muertos a espada, los cuales descendieron incircuncisos a los más profundos lugares de la tierra, porque pusieron su terror en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

There Elam, and all her multitude, Round about her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth -- the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

25 E n medio de los muertos le pusieron cama con toda su multitud; a sus alrededores están sus sepulcros; todos ellos incircuncisos, muertos a espada, porque fue puesto su espanto en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro; él fue puesto en medio de los muertos.

In the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he hath been put.

26 A llí Mesec, y Tubal, y toda su multitud, sus sepulcros en sus alrededores; todos ellos incircuncisos muertos a espada, porque habían dado su terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

There Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,

27 Y no yacerán con los fuertes que cayeron de los incircuncisos, los cuales descendieron al Seol con sus armas de guerra, y pusieron sus espadas debajo de sus cabezas; mas sus iniquidades estarán sobre sus huesos, porque fueron terror de fuertes en la tierra de los vivientes.

And they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

28 T ú, pues, serás quebrantado entre los incircuncisos, y yacerás con los muertos a espada.

And thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised art broken, And dost lie with the pierced of the sword.

29 A llí Idumea, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, los cuales con su fortaleza fueron puestos con los muertos a espada; ellos yacerán con los incircuncisos, y con los que descienden al sepulcro.

There Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit.

30 A llí los reyes del aquilón, todos ellos, y todos los de Sidón, que con su terror descendieron con los muertos, avergonzados de su fortaleza, yacen también incircuncisos con los muertos a espada, y llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

There princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

31 A éstos verá Faraón, y se consolará sobre toda su multitud; Faraón muerto a espada, y todo su ejército, dijo el Señor DIOS.

Then doth Pharaoh see, And he hath been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

32 P orque yo puse mi terror en la tierra de los vivientes, también yacerá entre los incircuncisos con los muertos a espada, Faraón y toda su multitud, dijo el Señor DIOS.

For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he hath been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
