1 T en misericordia de mí, oh Dios, conforme a tu misericordia; conforme a la multitud de tu compasión rae mis rebeliones.

To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David, in the coming inn unto him of Nathan the prophet, when he hath gone in unto Bath-Sheba. Favour me, O God, according to Thy kindness, According to the abundance of Thy mercies, Blot out my transgressions.

2 L ávame más y más de mi iniquidad, y límpiame de mi pecado.

Thoroughly wash me from mine iniquity, And from my sin cleanse me,

3 P orque yo reconozco mis rebeliones; y mi pecado está siempre delante de mí.

For my transgressions I do know, And my sin before me continually.

4 C ontra ti, contra ti solo he pecado, y he hecho lo malo delante de tus ojos; para que seas reconocido justo en tu palabra, y puro en tu juicio.

Against Thee, Thee only, I have sinned, And done the evil thing in Thine eyes, So that Thou art righteous in Thy words, Thou art pure in Thy judging.

5 H e aquí, el dolor de mi iniquidad me ha hecho revolcar; mi madre me concibió para que el pecado fuera removido de mí.

Lo, in iniquity I have been brought forth, And in sin doth my mother conceive me.

6 H e aquí, tú amas la verdad en lo íntimo; y en lo secreto me has hecho comprender sabiduría.

Lo, truth Thou hast desired in the inward parts, And in the hidden part Wisdom Thou causest me to know.

7 ¶ Remueva el pecado en mí con hisopo, y seré limpio; lávame, y seré emblanquecido más que la nieve.

Thou cleansest me with hyssop and I am clean, Washest me, and than snow I am whiter.

8 H azme oír gozo y alegría; y se recrearán los huesos que has abatido.

Thou causest me to hear joy and gladness, Thou makest joyful bones Thou hast bruised.

9 E sconde tu rostro de mis pecados, y rae todas mis maldades.

Hide Thy face from my sin. And all mine iniquities blot out.

10 C rea en mí, oh Dios, un corazón limpio; y renueva un espíritu recto dentro de mí.

A clean heart prepare for me, O God, And a right spirit renew within me.

11 N o me eches de delante de ti; y no quites de mí tu santo Espíritu.

Cast me not forth from Thy presence, And Thy Holy Spirit take not from me.

12 V uélveme el gozo de tu salud; y tu espíritu de libertad me sustentará.

Restore to me the joy of Thy salvation, And a willing spirit doth sustain me.

13 E nseñaré a los prevaricadores tus caminos; y los pecadores se convertirán a ti.

I teach transgressors Thy ways, And sinners unto Thee do return.

14 ¶ Líbrame de homicidios, oh Dios, Dios de mi salvación; cantará mi lengua tu justicia.

Deliver me from blood, O God, God of my salvation, My tongue singeth of Thy righteousness.

15 S eñor, abre mis labios; y publicará mi boca tu alabanza.

O Lord, my lips thou dost open, And my mouth declareth Thy praise.

16 P orque no quieres sacrificio, que yo lo daría; no quieres holocausto.

For Thou desirest not sacrifice, or I give, Burnt-offering Thou acceptest not.

17 L os sacrificios de Dios son el espíritu quebrantado; al corazón contrito y humillado no despreciarás tú, oh Dios.

The sacrifices of God a broken spirit, A heart broken and bruised, O God, Thou dost not despise.

18 H az bien con tu voluntad a Sion; edifica los muros de Jerusalén.

Do good in Thy good pleasure with Zion, Thou dost build the walls of Jerusalem.

19 E ntonces te agradarán los sacrificios de justicia, el holocausto u ofrenda del todo quemada; entonces ofrecerán sobre tu altar becerros.

Then Thou desirest sacrifices of righteousness, Burnt-offering, and whole burnt-offering, Then they offer bullocks on thine altar!
