1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

2 I n the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

4 T hou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

No me dejabas pegar los ojos; Estaba yo quebrantado, y no hablaba.

5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

Consideraba los días desde el principio, Los años de los tiempos pasados.

6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Me acordaba de mis cánticos de noche; Meditaba en mi corazón, Y mi espíritu inquiría:

7 W ill the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

¿Desechará el Señor para siempre, Y no volverá más a sernos propicio?

8 I s his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

¿Ha cesado para siempre su misericordia? ¿Se ha acabado perpetuamente su promesa?

9 H ath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

¿Ha olvidado Dios el tener misericordia? ¿Ha encerrado en su ira sus entrañas? Selah

10 A nd I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

Y me dije: Este es mi tormento: Que la diestra del Altísimo ha cambiado.

11 I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

Me acordaré de las obras de JAH; Sí, haré memoria de tus antiguos portentos.

12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Meditaré en todas tus obras, Y hablaré de tus hazañas.

13 T hy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

Oh Dios, santo es tu camino; ¿Qué dios es grande como nuestro Dios?

14 T hou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas; Hiciste notorio entre los pueblos tu poder.

15 T hou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Con tu brazo redimiste a tu pueblo, A los hijos de Jacob y de José. Selah

16 T he waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

Te vieron las aguas, oh Dios; Las aguas te vieron, y temieron; Los abismos también se estremecieron.

17 T he clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

Las nubes echaron inundaciones de aguas; Tronaron los cielos, Y discurrieron tus rayos.

18 T he voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

La voz de tu trueno estaba en el torbellino; Tus relámpagos alumbraron el mundo; Se estremeció y tembló la tierra.

19 T hy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

En el mar te abriste camino, Y tus sendas en las muchas aguas; Y tus pisadas no dejaron rastro.

20 T hou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Condujiste a tu pueblo como rebaño Por mano de Moisés y de Aarón.
