1 H e that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.

No entrará en la congregación de Jehová el que tenga magullados los testículos, o amputado su miembro viril.

2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.

No entrará mestizo en la congregación de Jehová; ni aun en la décima generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová.

3 A n Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord for ever:

No serán admitidos amonitas ni moabitas en la congregación de Jehová, ni aun en la décima generación; no entrará en la congregación de Jehová ninguno de ellos jamás,

4 B ecause they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

por cuanto no os salieron a recibir con pan y agua al camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto, y porque alquilaron contra ti a Balaam hijo de Beor, de Petor en Mesopotamia, para maldecirte.

5 N evertheless the Lord thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the Lord thy God loved thee.

Mas no quiso Jehová tu Dios oír a Balaam; y Jehová tu Dios te convirtió la maldición en bendición, porque Jehová tu Dios te amaba.

6 T hou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

No procurarás la paz de ellos ni su bien en todos los días para siempre.

7 T hou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.

No aborrecerás al edomita, porque es tu hermano; no aborrecerás al egipcio, porque forastero fuiste en su tierra.

8 T he children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the Lord in their third generation.

Los hijos que nazcan de ellos, en la tercera generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová. Leyes sanitarias

9 W hen the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.

Cuando salgas a campaña contra tus enemigos, te guardarás de toda cosa mala.

10 I f there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

Si hay entre los tuyos alguien que no esté limpio, por razón de alguna polución nocturna, saldrá fuera del campamento, y no entrará en él.

11 B ut it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

Pero al caer la tarde se lavará con agua, y cuando se haya puesto el sol, podrá entrar en el campamento.

12 T hou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

Tendrás un lugar fuera del campamento adonde salgas;

13 A nd thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

tendrás también entre tus armas una estaca; y cuando te sientes a evacuar allí fuera, cavarás con ella, y luego al volverte cubrirás tu excremento;

14 F or the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

porque Jehová tu Dios anda en medio de tu campamento, para librarte y para entregar a tus enemigos delante de ti; por tanto, tu campamento ha de ser santo, para que él no vea en ti cosa inmunda, y se aparte de ti.

15 T hou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:

No entregarás a su señor el siervo que huya a ti de su amo.

16 H e shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.

Morará contigo, en medio de ti, en el lugar que escoja en alguna de tus ciudades, donde tenga a bien; no le oprimirás.

17 T here shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

No haya ramera de entre las hijas de Israel, ni haya sodomita de entre los hijos de Israel.

18 T hou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

No traerás la paga de una ramera ni un precio de perro a la casa de Jehová tu Dios por ningún voto; porque abominación es a Jehová tu Dios tanto lo uno como lo otro.

19 T hou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

No exigirás de tu hermano interés de dinero, ni interés de comestibles, ni de cosa alguna de que se suele exigir interés.

20 U nto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Del extraño podrás exigir interés, mas de tu hermano no lo exigirás, para que te bendiga Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos en la tierra adonde vas para tomar posesión de ella.

21 W hen thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

Cuando hagas voto a Jehová tu Dios, no tardes en pagarlo; porque ciertamente lo demandará Jehová tu Dios de ti, y sería pecado en ti.

22 B ut if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

Mas cuando te abstengas de prometer, no habrá en ti pecado.

23 T hat which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Pero lo que haya salido de tus labios, lo guardarás y lo cumplirás, conforme lo prometiste a Jehová tu Dios, pagando la ofrenda voluntaria que prometiste con tu boca.

24 W hen thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

Cuando entres en la viña de tu prójimo, podrás comer uvas hasta saciarte; mas no pondrás en tu cesto.

25 W hen thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn.

Cuando entres en la mies de tu prójimo, podrás arrancar espigas con tu mano; mas no aplicarás hoz a la mies de tu prójimo.
