1 I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Amo a Jehová, pues ha escuchado La voz de mis súplicas;

2 B ecause he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Porque ha inclinado a mí su oído Cuantas veces le he invocado en mi vida.

3 T he sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Me rodearon ligaduras de muerte, Me alcanzaron las angustias del Seol; En angustia y dolor me encontraba yo.

4 T hen called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Entonces invoqué el nombre de Jehová, diciendo: Oh Jehová, te ruego que salves mi vida.

5 G racious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

Clemente es Jehová, y justo; Sí, misericordioso es nuestro Dios.

6 T he Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Jehová guarda a los sencillos; Estaba yo postrado, y me salvó.

7 R eturn unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Recobra, oh alma mía, tu calma, Porque Jehová te ha procurado bienes.

8 F or thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Pues tú has librado mi alma de la muerte, Mis ojos de las lágrimas, Y mis pies de resbalar.

9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

Andaré delante de Jehová En la tierra de los vivientes.

10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

Mantuve mi fe, aun cuando decía: Estoy afligido en gran manera.

11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Y dije en mi apresuramiento: Todo hombre es mentiroso.

12 W hat shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?

¿Qué pagaré a Jehová Por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

Levantaré la copa de la salvación, E invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.

Ahora cumpliré mis votos a Jehová Delante de todo su pueblo.

15 P recious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Estimada es a los ojos de Jehová La muerte de sus santos.

16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Oh Jehová, ciertamente yo soy tu siervo, Siervo tuyo soy, hijo de tu sierva; Tú sueltas mis ligaduras.

17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.

Te ofreceré sacrificio de alabanza, E invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.

A Jehová cumpliré ahora mis votos Delante de todo su pueblo,

19 I n the courts of the Lord 's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

En los atrios de la casa de Jehová, En medio de ti, oh Jerusalén. Aleluya.
