1 A nd he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

Después me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué, el cual estaba de pie delante del ángel de Jehová, y Satanás estaba a su mano derecha para acusarle.

2 A nd the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Y dijo Jehová a Satanás: Jehová te reprenda, oh Satanás; Jehová que ha escogido a Jerusalén te reprenda. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del incendio?

3 N ow Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

Y Josué estaba vestido de vestiduras sucias, y estaba de pie delante del ángel.

4 A nd he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Y habló el ángel, y mandó a los que estaban delante de él, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestiduras sucias. Y a él le dijo: Mira que hago pasar de ti tu pecado, y te voy a vestir de ropas de gala.

5 A nd I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord stood by.

Después dijo: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y le vistieron las ropas. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba en pie.

6 A nd the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying,

Y el ángel de Jehová aseguró solemnemente a Josué, diciendo:

7 T hus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Si andas por mis caminos, y eres fiel a mi ministerio, también tú gobernarás mi casa, también guardarás mis atrios, y entre éstos que aquí están te daré lugar.

8 H ear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

Escucha pues, ahora, Josué sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti, porque son varones de presagio, pues he aquí que yo traigo a mi siervo el Retoño.

9 F or behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Porque he aquí aquella piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos; he aquí, yo grabaré su escultura, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y quitaré el pecado de la tierra en un solo día.

10 I n that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros convidará a su compañero, debajo de su parra y debajo de su higuera.
