1 ¶ The sons of Aaron also had their courses. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

2 B ut Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children; therefore, Eleazar and Ithamar had the priesthood.

А Надав и Авиуд умряха преди баща си и нямаха чада; за това, Елеазар и Итамар свещенодействуваха.

3 A nd David distributed them, Zadok being of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their turns in their ministry.

И Давид, заедно със Садока от Елеазаровите потомци, ги разпредели според наредената за тях работа.

4 A nd there were more men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar, there were sixteen chief men of the houses of their fathers and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the houses of their fathers.

А от Елеазаровите потомци се намериха повече началници отколкото от Итамаровите потомци, и <според това> бидоха разпределени: от Елеазаровите потомци имаше шестнадесет началника на бащини домове, а от Итамаровите потомци, според бащините им домове, осем <началника>.

5 T hey divided them, therefore, by lot, one with another for of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar there were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God.

Разпределиха и едните и другите с жребий; защото имаше управители на светилището и управители на Божия <дом>, както от Елеазаровите потомци, така и от Итамаровите потомци.

6 A nd Shemaiah, the scribe, the son of Nethaneel, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king and the princes and before Zadok, the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers of the priests and Levites; one paternal house being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.

И секретарят Семаия, Натаналовият син, който бе от левитите, ги записа в присъствието на царя, на първенците, на свещеника Садока, на Ахимелеха, Авиатаровия син и на началниците на бащините <домове> на свещениците и на левитите, като се вземеше един бащин дом от Елеазара и един от Итамара.

7 N ow the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

А първият жребий излезе за Иоиарива, вторият за Едаия,

8 t he third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

третият за Харима, четвъртият за Сеорима,

9 t he fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,

петият за Мелхия, шестият за Меиамина,

10 t he seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,

седмият за Акоса, осмият за Авия,

11 t he ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,

деветият за Иисуя, десетият за Сехания,

12 t he eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,

единадесетият за Елиасива, дванадесетият за Якима,

13 t he thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,

14 t he fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,

16 t he nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,

17 t he twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,

18 t he twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.

19 T hese were their orderings in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their right, in the ministry of Aaron, their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.

Тоя беше редът на служението им, според който да влизат в Господния дом, по наредбата <дадена> им чрез баща им Аарона, според както му бе заповядал Господ Израилевият Бог.

20 ¶ And of the sons of Levi that remained: Of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

А останалите левийци бяха: от Амрамовите потомци, Суваил; от Суваиловите синове, Ядаия;

21 R ehabiah; of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief was Isshiah.

от Равия, от Равиевите синове, Есия първият;

22 O f the Izharite; Shelomoth; and the son of Shelomoth, Jahath.

от исаарците, Селомот; от Селомотовите синове, Яат;

23 A nd of the sons of Jeriah: Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

а <Хевронови> синове Ерия, <първият;> Амария, вторият; Яазиил, третият; Екамеам, четвъртият;

24 T he sons of Uzziel: Michah; and the son of Michah, Shamir.

от Озииловите синове, Михей; от Михеевите синове, Самир;

25 T he brother of Michah was Isshiah; and the son of Isshiah, Zechariah.

Михеев брат бе Есия; от Есиевите синове, Захария;

26 T he sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the son of Jaaziah, Beno.

Мерариеви синове бяха: Маалий и Мусий; Яазиевият син, Вено;

27 T he sons of Merari by Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.

Мерариеви потомци чрез Яазия: Вено, Соам, Закхур и Иврий.

28 O f Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.

от Маалия бе Елеазар, който нямаше синове;

29 K ish; the son of Kish, Jerahmeel.

от Киса, Кисовият син Ерамеил;

30 T he sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to the houses of their fathers.

и Мусиеви синове: Маалий, Едер и Еримот. Тия бяха левиевите потомци според бащините им домове.

31 T hese, likewise, cast lots over against their brethren, the sons of Aaron, in the presence of David, the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.

Както братята им, Аароновите потомци, така и те хвърлиха жребия в присъствието на цар Давида, на Садока, на Ахимелеха и на началниците на бащините <домове> на свещениците и на левитите, както за по-главните си бащини <домове>, така и за по-малките си братя.
