1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

След това Господ говори на Моисея, казвайки:

2 A venge the sons of Israel upon the Midianites; afterward thou shalt be gathered unto thy peoples.

Въздай на мадиамците за израилтяните, и след това ще се прибереш при людете си.

3 A nd Moses spoke unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war and let them go against the Midianites and carry out the vengeance of the LORD in Midian.

Моисей, прочее, говори на людете, казвайки: Нека се въоръжат от вас мъже за бой и нека отидат против Мадиама за да извършат въздаяние върху Мадиама за Господа.

4 A thousand out of every tribe throughout all the tribes of Israel shall ye send to the war.

По хиляда души от всяко племе от всичките Израилеви племена да изпратите на войната.

5 S o there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

И така, от Израилевите хиляди се преброиха по хиляда души от всяко племе, дванадесет хиляди души, въоръжени за бой.

6 A nd Moses sent them to the war; he sent a thousand of every tribe; and Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, went to the war with the holy instruments, with the trumpets to blow in his hand.

И Моисей ги изпрати на войната, по хиляда души от всяко племе, тях и Финееса, син на свещеника Елеазара, със светите вещи и с тръбите за тревога в ръцете му.

7 ¶ And they fought against the Midianites as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

Те воюваха против Мадиама, според както Господ заповяда на Моисея, и убиха всяко мъжко.

8 A nd they also slew the kings of Midian among the rest of those that were slain: namely, Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba, five kings of Midian; they also slew Balaam, the son of Beor, with the sword.

И между убитите убиха и мадиамските царе: Евия, Рекема, Сура, Ура и Рева, петима мадиамски царе; убиха с нож и Валаама Веоровия син.

9 A nd the sons of Israel took all the women of Midian captives and their little ones and took the spoil of all their beasts and all their flocks and all their goods.

А израилтяните плениха жените на мадиамците, децата им, всичкия им добитък и всичките им стада; и разграбиха всичкия им имот.

10 A nd they burnt all their cities in which they dwelt and all their palaces with fire.

А всичките им градове, в местата населени от тях, и всичките им станове изгориха с огън.

11 A nd they took all the spoil and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

И взеха всичките користи и всичката плячка, и човек и животно.

12 A nd they brought the captives and the prey and the spoil unto Moses and Eleazar, the priest, and unto the congregation of the sons of Israel, unto the camp in the plains of Moab, which was by Jordan of Jericho.

И докараха пленниците, плячката и користите на Моисея, на свещеника Елеазар и на обществото израилтяни в стана, на моавските полета при Иордан, срещу Ерихон.

13 ¶ And Moses and Eleazar, the priest, and all the princes of the congregation went forth to meet them outside the camp.

Тогава Моисей, свещеникът Елеазар и всичките първенци на обществото излязоха да ги посрещнат вън от стана.

14 A nd Moses was angry with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands and captains over hundreds who returned from the battle.

Но Моисей се разгневи на военачалниците, на хилядниците и на стотниците, които се връщаха от военния поход;

15 A nd Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?

и Моисей им рече: Оставихте ли живи всичките жени?

16 B ehold, these caused the sons of Israel through the counsel of Balaam to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor for which there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Ето, те, по съвета на Валаама, накараха израилтяните да беззаконствуват против Господа в делото на Фегора, тъй че язвата се яви всред Господното общество.

17 N ow therefore kill every male among the little ones and kill every woman that has known a man by lying with him.

За това, убийте сега всичките мъжки от децата, и убийте всяка жена, която е познала мъж, като е лежала с него.

18 B ut all the female children that have not known a man by lying with him keep alive for yourselves.

А всичките момичета, които не са познали мъж, които не са лежали с такъв, оставете живи за себе си.

19 A nd ye must abide outside the camp seven days; and whoever has killed any person and whoever has touched any dead body ye shall remove the sin from them on the third and on the seventh day, both of yourselves and of your captives.

И вие останете вън от стана седем дена; вие и пленниците ви, всеки <от вас>, който е убил човек, и който се е допрял до убит, очистете се на третия ден и на седмия ден;

20 L ikewise remove all sin from all your clothing and all that is made of skins and all work of goats’ hair and every vessel made of wood.

очистете и всичките дрехи, всичките кожени вещи, и всичко, което е направено от козина, и всичките дървени съдове.

21 A nd Eleazar, the priest, said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

Също и свещеникът Елеазар рече на войниците, които бяха ходили на война: Това е повелението, което Господ заповяда на Моисея като закон.

22 c ertainly the gold and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

Само че златото, среброто, медта, желязото, оловото и калая,

23 e very thing that may endure the fire, ye shall cause to pass through the fire, and it shall be clean; nevertheless, ye shall remove the sin with the water of separation; and all that does not endure the fire ye shall cause to go through the water.

всичко, което може да устои на огън, прекарайте през огън, и ще бъде чисто; обаче, трябва да се очисти и с очистителната вода; и всичко що не може да устои на огън прекарай през вода.

24 Y e shall also wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterwards ye shall come into the camp.

Тогава на седмия ден да изперете дрехите си, и ще бъдете чисти; и подир това да влезете в стана.

25 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

И Господ говори на Моисея, казвайки:

26 T ake the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou and Eleazar, the priest, and the heads of the fathers of the congregation,

Ти и свещеникът Елеазар и началниците на бащините <домове> от обществото пребройте плячката и пленниците, и човек и животно,

27 a nd divide the prey into two parts between those that took the part in the war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

и раздели плячката на две, между войниците, които ходиха на война и цялото общество.

28 A nd offer a tribute unto the LORD from the men of war who went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons and of the oxen and of the asses and of the sheep.

От <дела> на войниците, които ходиха на бой, отдели като данък за Господа по една душа от петстотин - от човеци, от говеда, от осли и от овци;

29 T ake it from their half and give Eleazar, the priest, the offering of the LORD.

от тяхната половина да вземеш това и да го дадеш на свещеника Елеазара, като възвишаем принос Господу.

30 A nd of the half belonging to the sons of Israel, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the oxen, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of animals and give them unto the Levites, who keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.

А от половината, <която се дава> на израилтяните, да вземеш по един дял от петдесет - от човеци, от говеда, от осли и от овци - от всеки добитък, - и да ги дадеш на левитите, които пазят заръчаното за Господната скиния.

31 A nd Moses and Eleazar, the priest, did as the LORD commanded Moses.

И тъй Моисей и свещеникът Елеазар сториха, според както Господ заповяда на Моисея.

32 A nd the prey, that is the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred and seventy-five thousand sheep

А плячката, <то ест>, това, което остана в плен, което войниците заплениха, беше: овци, шестстотин седемдесет и пет хиляди;

33 a nd seventy-two thousand oxen

говеда, седемдесет и две хиляди;

34 a nd sixty-one thousand asses

осли, шестдесет и една хиляда

35 a nd thirty-two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known a man by lying with him.

и човеци - жени, които не бяха познали мъж, чрез лягане с такъв - всичко тридесет и две хиляди души.

36 A nd the half which was the portion of those that went out to war was in number three hundred and thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep.

Половината, делът на ония, които бяха ходили на бой, беше на брой: овци, триста и тридесет и седем хиляди и петстотин;

37 A nd the tribute for the LORD, of the sheep was six hundred and seventy-five.

а данъкът за Господа от овците беше шестстотин седемдесет и пет;

38 A nd the oxen were thirty-six thousand, of which the tribute for the LORD was seventy-two.

говедата бяха тридесет и шест хиляди, от които данъкът за Господа беше седемдесет и две;

39 A nd the asses were thirty thousand five hundred, of which the tribute for the LORD was sixty-one.

ослите бяха тридесет хиляди и петстотин, от които данъкът за Господа беше шестдесет и един;

40 A nd the persons were sixteen thousand, of which the tribute for the LORD was thirty-two persons.

и човеците бяха шестнадесет хиляди, от които данъкът за Господа беше тридесет и двама души,

41 A nd Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD’s heave offering, unto Eleazar, the priest, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

И Моисей даде данъка, като възвишаем принос Господу, на свещеника Елеазара, както Господ заповяда на Моисея.

42 A nd of the half pertaining to the sons of Israel, which Moses divided from the men that had gone to war,

А половината, <която се даде> на израилтяните, която Моисей отдели от войниците,

43 ( now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep

<то ест>, половината за обществото, беше: овци, триста и тридесет и седем хиляди и петстотин;

44 a nd thirty-six thousand oxen

говеда, тридесет и шест хиляди;

45 a nd thirty thousand five hundred asses

осли, тридесет хиляди и петстотин;

46 a nd sixteen thousand persons)

и човеци - шестнадесет хиляди.

47 o f the half, therefore of the sons of Israel, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, who kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

От тая половина за израилтяните Моисей взе по един дял от петдесет, от човеци и от животни, и ги даде на левитите, които пазеха заръчаното за Господната скиния, според както Господ заповяда на Моисея.

48 ¶ And the officers who were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses,

Тогава се приближиха при Моисея началниците, които бяха над хилядите на войската, хилядниците и стотниците,

49 a nd they said unto Moses, Thy slaves have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our charge and not one man of us is missing.

и рекоха на Моисея: Слугите ти преброиха войниците, които са под ръката ни; и не липсва ни един от нас.

50 W e have therefore brought an offering for the LORD, each man of what he has found, of vessels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to reconcile our souls before the LORD.

За това принасяме дар Господу, всеки каквото е намерил, златни неща, верижки, гривни, пръстени, обеци и мъниста, за да се извърши умилостивение за душите ни пред Господа.

51 A nd Moses and Eleazar, the priest, took the gold from them, all wrought vessels.

И Моисей и свещеникът Елеазар взеха златото от тях, всичко в изработени украшения.

52 A nd all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.

И всичкото злато от възвишаемия принос, който хилядниците и стотниците принесоха Господу, беше шестнадесет хиляди седемстотин и петдесет сикли.

53 ( For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)

(<Защото> войниците бяха грабили, всеки за себе си).

54 A nd Moses and Eleazar, the priest, took the gold from the captains of thousands and of hundreds and brought it into the tabernacle of the testimony, for a memorial of the sons of Israel before the LORD.

И Моисей и свещеникът Елеазар, като взеха златото от хилядниците и стотниците, донесоха го в шатъра за срещане, за спомен на израилтяните пред Господа.
