1 ¶ For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob and will yet choose Israel and cause them to rest in their own land; and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

Защото Господ ще се смили за Якова, И пак ще избере Израиля. И ще ги настани в земята им; И чужденците ще се присъединят към тях, И ще се прилепят към Якововия дом.

2 A nd the peoples shall take them and bring them to their place; and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for slaves and hand maids; and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

Племената ще ги вземат и ще ги заведат на мястото им; И Израилевият дом ще ги наследи в земята Господна За слуги и слугини; Те ще пленят пленителите си, И ще владеят над притеснителите си.

3 A nd it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow and from thy fear and from the hard bondage in which thou wast made to serve,

И в деня, когато Господ те успокои от скръбта ти, От неволята ти и от жестоката работа, В която ти бе поробен,

4 ¶ that thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon and say, How has the oppressor ceased! The city that covets gold has ceased!

Ще употребиш това иносказание против вавилонския цар, като речеш: Как престана насилникът! престана скубачът <на злато!>

5 T he LORD has broken the staff of the wicked and the sceptre of the rulers

Господ строши тоягата на нечестивите, Скиптъра на владетелите,

6 w ho smote the peoples in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the Gentiles in anger and who did not defend the persecuted.

Който яростно поразяваше племената С непрестанно биене, Който властвуваше с гняв над народите, С преследване, което никой не въздържаше.

7 T he whole earth is at rest and is quiet; they sing praises.

Цялата земя се успокои и утихна; Възклицават с песни;

8 E ven the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Дори елхите <и> ливанските кедри се радват за тебе, <казвайки:> Откакто лежиш ти дървар не е излизал против нас.

9 S heol from beneath is aghast at thee; it stirs up the dead to meet thee at thy coming; it has raised up from their thrones all the princes of the earth, all the kings of the Gentiles.

Преизподнята от долу се раздвижи поради тебе, За да те посрещне, когато дойдеш; Поради тебе събуди мъртвите {Еврейски: Сенките.}, всичките земни първенци, Дигна от престолите им всичките царе на народите.

10 T hey all shall shout and say unto thee, Art thou also become sick as we? Art thou become like unto us?

Те всички проговаряйки ще ти рекат: И ти ли ослабна като нас? Стана ли равен нам?

11 T hy pride is brought down to Sheol, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

Великолепието ти и шумът на твоите псалтири се снишиха до преизподнята; Червеят се протяга под теб, и червеи те покриват.

12 H ow art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, who didst claim the Gentiles as an inheritance!

Как си паднал от небето, ти Деннице, сине на зората! Как си отсечен до земята, ти, който поваляше народите;

13 T hou who said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven; upon high next to the stars of God I will exalt my throne: and I will sit upon the mount of the testimony and in the sides of the north;

А ти думаше в сърцето си: Ще възляза на небесата, Ще възвиша престола си над Божиите звезди, И ще седна на планината на събраните <богове> към най-крайните страни на север,

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Ще възляза над висотата на облаците, Ще бъда подобен на Всевишния.

15 Y et thou shalt be cast down to Sheol, to the sides of the pit.

Обаче ти ще се снишиш до преизподнята, До най-долните дълбочини на рова.

16 T hose that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble; that shook the kingdoms;

Ония, които те видят ще се взрат в тебе, Ще те разгледат, <и ще рекат>: Тоя ли е човекът, който правеше да трепери земята, Който разклащаше царствата,

17 t hat made the world as a wilderness and destroyed the cities thereof; that did not open the prison to his prisoners?

Който запустяваше света, И съсипваше градовете му, Който не пускаше в домовете им затворниците си?

18 A ll the kings of the Gentiles, even all of them, lie in glory, each one in his own house.

Всичките царе на народите - те всички- Спят в слава, всеки в дома си;

19 B ut thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that went down to the bottom of the pit, as a carcase trodden under feet.

А ти си отхвърлен от гроба си като презряно {Еврейски: Отвратително.} клонче, <Като> дреха на убити, на прободени с нож, на слизащи между камъните на рова, - Като потъпкан под нозе труп.

20 T hou shalt not be numbered with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land and slain thy people; the seed of evildoers shall not be forever.

Ти не ще се съединиш с тях в погребение, Защото си погубил земята си, избил си своите люде; Родът на злодейците никога не ще се споменува.

21 P repare slaughter for his sons for the iniquity of their fathers that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Пригответе клане за чадата му, Поради беззаконието на бащите им, За да не станат и завладеят земята, И напълнят лицето на света с градове.

22 F or I will rise up upon them, saith the LORD of the hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name and remnant and son and nephew, saith the LORD.

Защото ще стана против тях, казва Господ на Силите, И ще излича из Вавилон име и всичко останало, - И син и внук, казва Господ.

23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern and pools of water, and I will sweep it with brooms of destruction, saith the LORD of the hosts.

И ще го обърна в притежание на ежове, и във водни локви; И ще го помета с метлата на погибелта, казва Господ на Силите.

24 ¶ The LORD of the hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

Господ на Силите се закле, казвайки: Непременно, както намислих, така ще стане, И както реших, така ще стои, -

25 T hat I will break the Assyrian in my land and upon my mountains tread him under foot; then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.

Че ще съкруша асириеца в земята Си, И ще го стъпча на планините Си; Тогава хомотът му ще се дигне от тях, И товарът му ще се снеме от плещите им.

26 T his is the counsel that is purposed upon the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the Gentiles.

Това е решението взето за цялата земя, И тая е ръката, която се простира над всичките народи.

27 F or the LORD of the hosts has purposed, and who shall disannul it? His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Защото Господ на Силите взе решение, и кой ще <го> осуети? И ръката Му е простряна, и кой ще я върне назад?

28 I n the year that King Ahaz died was this burden.

В годината, в която умря цар Ахаз, се наложи следното <пророчество:>

29 R ejoice not thou, whole Philistia, because thou didst break the rod of him that smote thee: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

Не се радвай, цяла Филистимска земьо, Загдето се строши тоягата, която те порази; Понеже из корена на змията ще излезе ехидна, И плодът му ще бъде горителна хвърката змия.

30 A nd the firstborn of the poor shall be fed, and the needy shall lie down in safety; and I will cause thy root to die of famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.

Първородните на сиромаха ще се нахранят, И бедните ще си почиват в безопасност; Аз ще умъртвя корена ти с глад И останалите от тебе ще бъдат убити.

31 H owl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Philistia, art dissolved; for there shall come from the north a smoke, and not one shall be left in thy assemblies.

Ридай, порто; извикай, граде; Стопила си се, цяла Филистимска земьо; Защото иде дим от север, И в редовете му не ще има ни един, който да пропадне,

32 W hat shall one then answer the messengers of the Gentiles? That the LORD has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people shall have confidence.

Тогава, какъв отговор ще се даде на посланиците на народа? - <Това>, че Господ е утвърдил основите на Сион, И там ще прибягват наскърбените между людете Му.
