1 ¶ Now when Joshua was old and advanced in years, the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.

2 T his is the land that yet remains: all the borders of the Philistines and all Geshuri

Ето земята, която остава още: всичките околности на филистимците и цялата Гесурска <земя>,

3 f rom the Nile, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted among the Canaanites; five cardinals of the Philistines; the Gazathites and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, also the Avites;

4 t owards the Negev all the land of the Canaanites and Mearah that is beside those of Sidon unto Aphek to the border of the Amorite;

5 a nd the land of the Giblites and all Lebanon toward the sunrising, from Baalgad at the root of Mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.

6 A ll the inhabitants of the mountains from Lebanon unto the hot springs and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the sons of Israel; only thou shalt divide the country by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

всичките планински жители от Ливан до Мисрефот-маим, <то ест>, всичките сидонци; тях Аз ще изтребя отпред израилтяните; а ти раздели тая <земя> в наследство на Израиля, според както съм ти заповядал.

7 ¶ Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes and the half tribe of Manasseh,

Сега, прочее, раздели тая земя в наследство на деветте племена и на половината от Манасиевото племе.

8 f or the other half received their inheritance with the Reubenites and the Gadites, which Moses gave them of the other side of the Jordan eastward, according as Moses the slave of the LORD gave them;

9 f rom Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;

11 a nd Gilead and the borders of the Geshur and Maachath and all Mount Hermon and all Bashan unto Salcah;

12 a ll the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the Rephaim, for these did Moses smite and cast them out of the land.

13 N evertheless, the sons of Israel did not expel those of Geshur and Maachath, but Geshur and Maachath dwell among the Israelites until this day.

14 B ut unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the sacrifices on fire of the LORD God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said unto them.

15 A nd Moses gave unto the tribe of the sons of Reuben according to their families,

16 a nd their border was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river and all the plain until Medeba,

Пределите им бяха от Ароир, който е при брега на потока Арнон и града, който е всред долината, и цялата равнина до Медева,

17 H eshbon and all her cities that are in the plain, Dibon, and Bamothbaal and Bethbaalmeon,

18 a nd Jahazah and Kedemoth and Mephaath,

19 a nd Kirjathaim and Sibmah and Zarethshahar in the mount of the valley,

20 a nd Bethpeor and Ashdothpisgah and Bethjeshimoth,

21 a nd all the cities of the plain and all the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur and Hur and Reba, who were princes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.

и всичките градове на равнината, и цялото царство на аморейския цар Сион, който царуваше в Есевон, когото Моисей порази заедно с мадиамските първенци: Евия, Рекема, Сура, Ура и Рева, Сионови първенци, които живееха в оная земя.

22 B alaam also, the son of Beor, the diviner, did the sons of Israel slay with the sword among those that were slain by them.

И между убитите от тях, израилтяните убиха с нож Валаама Веоровия син, чародееца.

23 A nd the border of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuben according to their families, these cities with their villages.

А границата на рувимците беше Иордан и пределите му. Това е наследството на рувимците според семействата им, с градовете му и техните села.

24 M oses likewise gave unto the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad according to their families.

И на Гадовото племе, Моисей даде <наследство> на гадците, според семействата им.

25 A nd their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead and half of the land of the sons of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah,

Пределът им беше Язир и всичките Галаадски градове, и половината от земята на амонците до Ароир срещу Рава,

26 a nd from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir,

и от Есевон до Рамат-масфа и Ветоним, и от Маханаим до границата на Девир,

27 a nd the valley of Betharam and Bethnimrah and Succoth and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon, king of Heshbon, the Jordan and its border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.

и, в долината, Ветарам, Ветнимра, Сокхот и Сафон, останалото от царството на есевонския цар Сион оттатък Иордан на изток, имайки за граница Иордан до края на езерото Хинерот.

28 T his is the inheritance of the sons of Gad according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Това е наследството на гадците според семействата им, с градовете му и техните села.

29 A nd Moses also gave unto the half tribe of Manasseh, and it belonged to the half tribe of the sons of Manasseh according to their families.

Моисей даде <наследство> и на половината от Манасиевото племе; и то стана <притежание> на половината от племето на манасийците според семействата им.

30 T heir border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

Пределът им беше от Маханаим, целия Васан, цялото царство на васанския цар Ог, и всичките заселища на Яир, които са у Васан, шестдесет града.

31 A nd half of Gilead and Ashtaroth and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were given to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, even to one half of the sons of Machir, according to their families.

И половината от Галаад, и Астарот и Едраи, градове на Оговото царство във Васан, се дадоха на потомците, на Махира Манасиевия син, на половината от Махировите потомци според семействата им.

32 T his is what Moses distributed in inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan of Jericho, eastward.

Тия са наследствата, които Моисей раздели в моавските полета оттатък Иордан, срещу Ерихон, на изток.

33 B ut to the tribe of Levi Moses did not give any inheritance; the LORD God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said unto them.

А на Левиевото племе Моисей не даде наследство; Господ Израилевият Бог беше наследството им, според както им беше казал.
