1 ¶ And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who is for the sons of thy people, and it shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there were people until now, but in that time thy people shall escape, all those that are found written in the book.

И в онова време великият княз Михаил, който се застъпва за твоите люде, ще се подигне; и ще настане време на страдание, каквото никога не е бивало откак народ съществува до онова време; и в онова време твоите люде ще се отърват, - всеки, който се намери записан в книгата.

2 A nd many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall be awakened, some for eternal life, and some for shame and everlasting confusion.

И множеството от спящите в пръстта на земята ще се събудят, едни за вечен живот, а едни за срам и вечно презрение.

3 A nd those that understand shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and those that teach righteousness to the multitude as the stars in perpetual eternity.

Разумните ще сияят със светлостта на простора, и ония, които обръщат мнозина в правда като звездите до вечни векове.

4 B ut thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end: many shall pass by, and knowledge shall be multiplied.

А ти, Данииле, затвори думите и запечатай книгата до края на времето, <когато> мнозина ще я изследват, и знанието <за нея> ще се умножава.

5 ¶ Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, another two who stood, one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

Тогава, като погледнах аз Даниил, ето, стояха двама други, един на брега отсам реката, и един на брега оттам реката.

6 A nd one said to the Man clothed in linens, who was upon the waters of the river, When shall be the end of these wonders?

И <единият> рече на облечения в ленени дрехи човек, който бе над водата на реката: До кога ще се чака за края на тия чудеса?

7 A nd I heard the Man clothed in linens, who was upon the waters of the river, who raised his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by the living one in the ages that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when the scattering of the power of the holy people shall be finished, all these things shall be fulfilled.

И чух облеченият в ленени дрехи човек, който бе над водата на реката, когато издигна десницата си и левицата си към небето и се закле в Оня, Който живееше до века, че това ще бъде след време, времена и половина време и, че всичко това ще се изпълни, когато ще са свършили да смажат силата на светите люде.

8 A nd I heard, but I did not understand; then I said, O my Lord, what is the fulfillment of these things?

И аз чух, но не разбрах. Тогава рекох: Господарю мой, каква ще бъде сетнината на това?

9 A nd he said, Go thy way, Daniel, for these words are closed up and sealed until the time of the fulfillment.

А той рече: Иди си, Данииле; защото думите са затворени и запечатани до края на времето.

10 M any shall be purified and made white and purged, but the wicked shall get worse; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

Мнозина ще се чистят и избелят и ще бъдат опитани; а нечестивите ще вършат нечестие, и никой от нечестивите не ще разбере; но разумните ще разберат.

11 A nd from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away until the abomination of desolation, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

И от времето, когато се премахне всегдашната <жертва>, и се постави мерзостта, която докарва запустение; ще има хиляда и двеста и деветдесет дни.

12 B lessed is he that waits and comes unto one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Блажен, който изтърпи и стигне до хиляда и триста и тридесет и петте дни.

13 A nd thou shall go to the end and shalt rest, and thou shalt raise up in thy lot at the end of the days.

Но ти си иди догдето настане краят; и ще се успокоиш, и в края на дните ще застанеш в дела си.
