1 A nd concerning the spiritual things, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant;

Не хочу оставить вас, братия, в неведении и о духовных.

2 y e have known that ye were nations, unto the dumb idols -- as ye were led -- being carried away;

Знаете, что когда вы были язычниками, то ходили к безгласным идолам, так, как бы вели вас.

3 w herefore, I give you to understand that no one, in the Spirit of God speaking, saith Jesus anathema, and no one is able to say Jesus Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.

Потому сказываю вам, что никто, говорящий Духом Божиим, не произнесет анафемы на Иисуса, и никто не может назвать Иисуса Господом, как только Духом Святым.

4 A nd there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;

Дары различны, но Дух один и тот же;

5 a nd there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord;

и служения различны, а Господь один и тот же;

6 a nd there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God -- who is working the all in all.

и действия различны, а Бог один и тот же, производящий все во всех.

7 A nd to each hath been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;

Но каждому дается проявление Духа на пользу.

8 f or to one through the Spirit hath been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

Одному дается Духом слово мудрости, другому слово знания, тем же Духом;

9 a nd to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;

иному вера, тем же Духом; иному дары исцелений, тем же Духом;

10 a nd to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:

иному чудотворения, иному пророчество, иному различение духов, иному разные языки, иному истолкование языков.

11 a nd all these doth work the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each severally as he intendeth.

Все же сие производит один и тот же Дух, разделяя каждому особо, как Ему угодно.

12 F or, even as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also the Christ,

Ибо, как тело одно, но имеет многие члены, и все члены одного тела, хотя их и много, составляют одно тело, --так и Христос.

13 f or also in one Spirit we all to one body were baptized, whether Jews or Greeks, whether servants or freemen, and all into one Spirit were made to drink,

Ибо все мы одним Духом крестились в одно тело, Иудеи или Еллины, рабы или свободные, и все напоены одним Духом.

14 f or also the body is not one member, but many;

Тело же не из одного члена, но из многих.

15 i f the foot may say, `Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body;' it is not, because of this, not of the body;

Если нога скажет: я не принадлежу к телу, потому что я не рука, то неужели она потому не принадлежит к телу?

16 a nd if the ear may say, `Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body;' it is not, because of this, not of the body?

И если ухо скажет: я не принадлежу к телу, потому что я не глаз, то неужели оно потому не принадлежит к телу?

17 I f the whole body an eye, where the hearing? if the whole hearing, where the smelling?

Если все тело глаз, то где слух? Если все слух, то где обоняние?

18 a nd now, God did set the members each one of them in the body, according as He willed,

Но Бог расположил члены, каждый в тела, как Ему было угодно.

19 a nd if all were one member, where the body?

А если бы все были один член, то где тело?

20 a nd now, indeed, many members, and one body;

Но теперь членов много, а тело одно.

21 a nd an eye is not able to say to the hand, `I have no need of thee;' nor again the head to the feet, `I have no need of you.'

Не может глаз сказать руке: ты мне не надобна; или также голова ногам: вы мне не нужны.

22 B ut much more the members of the body which seem to be more infirm are necessary,

Напротив, члены тела, которые кажутся слабейшими, гораздо нужнее,

23 a nd those that we think to be less honourable of the body, around these we put more abundant honour, and our unseemly things have seemliness more abundant,

и которые нам кажутся менее благородными в теле, о тех более прилагаем попечения;

24 a nd our seemly things have no need; but God did temper the body together, to the lacking part having given more abundant honour,

и неблагообразные наши более благовидно покрываются, а благообразные наши не имеют нужды. Но Бог соразмерил тело, внушив о менее совершенном большее попечение,

25 t hat there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same anxiety for one another,

дабы не было разделения в теле, а все члены одинаково заботились друг о друге.

26 a nd whether one member doth suffer, suffer with do all the members, or one member is glorified, rejoice with do all the members;

Посему, страдает ли один член, страдают с ним все члены; славится ли один член, с ним радуются все члены.

27 a nd ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

И вы--тело Христово, а порознь--члены.

28 A nd some, indeed, did God set in the assembly, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, afterwards powers, afterwards gifts of healings, helpings, governings, divers kinds of tongues;

И иных Бог поставил в Церкви, во-первых, Апостолами, во-- вторых, пророками, в-третьих, учителями; далее, силы, также дары исцелений, вспоможения, управления, разные языки.

29 a ll apostles? all prophets? all teachers? all powers?

Все ли Апостолы? Все ли пророки? Все ли учители? Все ли чудотворцы?

30 h ave all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

Все ли имеют дары исцелений? Все ли говорят языками? Все ли истолкователи?

31 a nd desire earnestly the better gifts; and yet a far excelling way do I shew to you:

Ревнуйте о дарах больших, и я покажу вам путь еще превосходнейший.
