1 J ehová, no me reprendas en tu furor ni me castigues en tu ira.

Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2 T us saetas cayeron sobre mí, y sobre mí ha descendido tu mano.

For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me.

3 N ada hay sano en mi carne a causa de tu ira; ni hay paz en mis huesos a causa de mi pecado,

There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; no peace in my bones, because of my sin.

4 p orque mis maldades se acumulan sobre mi cabeza; como carga pesada me abruman.

For mine iniquities are gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

5 H ieden y supuran mis llagas a causa de mi locura.

My wounds stink, they are corrupt, because of my foolishness.

6 E stoy encorvado, humillado en gran manera, ando enlutado todo el día,

I am depressed; I am bowed down beyond measure; I go mourning all the day.

7 p orque mis lomos están llenos de ardor; nada hay sano en mi carne.

For my loins are full of burning, and there is no soundness in my flesh.

8 E stoy debilitado y molido en gran manera; ¡gimo a causa de la conmoción de mi corazón!

I am faint and broken beyond measure; I roar by reason of the agitation of my heart.

9 S eñor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos y mi suspiro no te es oculto.

Lord, all my desire is before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.

10 M i corazón está acongojado, me ha dejado mi vigor, y aun la luz de mis ojos me falta ya.

My heart throbbeth, my strength hath left me; and the light of mine eyes, it also is no more with me.

11 M is amigos y mis compañeros se mantienen lejos de mi plaga, y mis cercanos se han alejado.

My lovers and mine associates stand aloof from my stroke; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

12 L os que buscan mi vida arman lazos, y los que procuran mi mal me amenazan y traman engaños todo el día.

And they that seek after my life lay snares; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all the day long.

13 P ero yo, como si fuera sordo, no oigo, y soy como un mudo que no abre la boca.

But I, as a deaf, hear not; and am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

14 S oy, pues, como un hombre que no oye y en cuya boca no hay reprensiones.

Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

15 P orque en ti, Jehová, he esperado, tú responderás, Jehová, Dios mío.

For in thee, Jehovah, do I hope: thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.

16 D ije: «No se alegren de mí; cuando mi pie resbale, no se engrandezcan sobre mí.»

For I said, Let them not rejoice over me! When my foot slipped, they magnified against me.

17 ¡ Pero yo estoy a punto de caer y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente!

For I am ready to halt, and my pain is continually before me.

18 P or tanto, confesaré mi maldad y me entristeceré por mi pecado.

For I will declare mine iniquity, I am grieved for my sin.

19 M is enemigos están vivos y fuertes, y se han aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa.

But mine enemies are lively, they are strong; and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied:

20 L os que pagan mal por bien me son contrarios, por seguir yo lo bueno.

And they that render evil for good are adversaries unto me; because I pursue what is good.

21 N o me desampares, Jehová; Dios mío, no te alejes de mí.

Forsake me not, Jehovah; O my God, be not far from me.

22 ¡ Apresúrate a ayudarme, Señor, salvación mía!

Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.
