1 E scucha, Jehová, mis palabras; considera mi gemir.

Give ear to my words, O Jehovah; consider my meditation.

2 A tiende a la voz de mi clamor, Rey mío y Dios mío, porque a ti oraré.

Hearken unto the voice of my crying, my king and my God; for to thee will I pray.

3 J ehová, de mañana oirás mi voz; de mañana me presentaré delante de ti y esperaré.

Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I address myself to thee, and will look up.

4 P orque tú no eres un Dios que se complace en la maldad, el malo no habitará junto a ti.

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with thee.

5 L os insensatos no estarán delante de tus ojos; aborreces a todos los que hacen iniquidad.

Insolent fools shall not stand before thine eyes; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 D estruirás a los que hablan mentira; al hombre sanguinario y engañador abominará Jehová.

Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit.

7 M as yo entraré en tu casa por la abundancia de tu misericordia; adoraré con reverencia hacia tu santo Templo.

But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear.

8 G uíame, Jehová, en tu justicia, a causa de mis enemigos; endereza delante de mí tu camino.

Lead me, Jehovah, in thy righteousness, because of my foes; make thy way plain before me.

9 E n la boca de ellos no hay sinceridad; su interior está lleno de maldad, sepulcro abierto es su garganta, su lengua es mentirosa.

For there is no certainty in their mouth; their inward part is perversion, their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

10 ¡ Castígalos, Dios! ¡Caigan por sus mismas intrigas! Por la multitud de sus transgresiones échalos fuera, porque se rebelaron contra ti.

Bring guilt upon them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels: drive them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against thee.

11 P ero alégrense todos los que en ti confían; den voces de júbilo para siempre, porque tú los defiendes; en ti se regocijen los que aman tu nombre.

And all that trust in thee shall rejoice: for ever shall they shout joyously, and thou wilt protect them; and they that love thy name shall exult in thee.

12 T ú, Jehová, bendecirás al justo; como con un escudo lo rodearás de tu favor.

For thou, Jehovah, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou surround him as a shield.
