1 P or amor de Sión no callaré y por amor de Jerusalén no descansaré, hasta que salga como un resplandor su justicia y su salvación se encienda como una antorcha.

For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be still, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth.

2 E ntonces verán las naciones tu justicia y todos los reyes tu gloria; y te será puesto un nombre nuevo, que la boca de Jehová te pondrá.

And the nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah will name.

3 Y serás corona de gloria en la mano de Jehová y diadema de realeza en la mano del Dios tuyo.

And thou shalt be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 N unca más te llamarán “Desamparada”, ni tu tierra se dirá más “Desolada”; sino que serás llamada Hefzi-bá, y tu tierra, Beula; porque el amor de Jehová estará contigo y tu tierra será desposada.

Thou shalt no more be termed, Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed, Desolate: but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Married; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5 P ues como el joven se desposa con la virgen, así se desposarán contigo tus hijos; y como el gozo del esposo con la esposa, así se gozará contigo el Dios tuyo.

For a young man marrieth a virgin, shall thy sons marry thee; and with the joy of the bridegroom over the bride, shall thy God rejoice over thee.

6 S obre tus muros, Jerusalén, he puesto guardas que no callarán ni de día ni de noche. ¡Los que os acordáis de Jehová, no descanséis

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, Jerusalem; all the day and all the night they shall never hold their peace: ye that put Jehovah in remembrance, keep not silence,

7 n i le deis tregua, hasta que restablezca a Jerusalén y la ponga por alabanza en la tierra!

and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 J uró Jehová por su mano derecha y por su poderoso brazo: «Jamás daré tu trigo por comida a tus enemigos, ni beberán los extraños el vino que es fruto de tu trabajo;

Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength, I will indeed no more give thy corn food for thine enemies; and the sons of the alien shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast laboured;

9 s ino que quienes lo cosechan lo comerán y alabarán a Jehová; y quienes lo vendimian lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario.»

for they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah; and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10 ¡ Pasad, pasad por las puertas; barred el camino al pueblo; allanad, allanad la calzada, quitad las piedras, alzad pendón ante los pueblos!

Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples.

11 H e aquí, Jehová lo hizo oír hasta lo último de la tierra: «Decid a la hija de Sión que ya viene su Salvador; he aquí su recompensa con él y delante de él su obra.»

Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.

12 Y los llamarán Pueblo Santo, Redimidos de Jehová. Y a ti te llamarán Ciudad Deseada, No desamparada.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah; and thou shalt be called, The sought out, The city not forsaken.
