1 J ehová, no me reprendas en tu furor, Ni me castigues en tu ira.

Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2 P orque tus saetas cayeron sobre mí, Y sobre mí ha descendido tu mano.

For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me.

3 N ada hay sano en mi carne, a causa de tu ira; Ni hay paz en mis huesos, a causa de mi pecado.

There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; no peace in my bones, because of my sin.

4 P orque mis iniquidades se han agravado sobre mi cabeza; Como carga pesada se han agravado sobre mí.

For mine iniquities are gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

5 H ieden y supuran mis llagas, A causa de mi locura.

My wounds stink, they are corrupt, because of my foolishness.

6 E stoy encorvado, estoy humillado en gran manera, Ando enlutado todo el día.

I am depressed; I am bowed down beyond measure; I go mourning all the day.

7 P orque mis lomos están llenos de ardor, Y nada hay sano en mi carne.

For my loins are full of burning, and there is no soundness in my flesh.

8 E stoy debilitado y molido en gran manera; Gimo a causa de la conmoción de mi corazón.

I am faint and broken beyond measure; I roar by reason of the agitation of my heart.

9 S eñor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos, Y mi suspiro no te es oculto.

Lord, all my desire is before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.

10 M i corazón está acongojado, me ha dejado mi vigor, Y aun la luz de mis ojos me falta ya.

My heart throbbeth, my strength hath left me; and the light of mine eyes, it also is no more with me.

11 M is amigos y mis compañeros se mantienen lejos de mi plaga, Y mis cercanos se han alejado.

My lovers and mine associates stand aloof from my stroke; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

12 L os que buscan mi vida arman lazos, Y los que procuran mi mal hablan iniquidades, Y meditan fraudes todo el día.

And they that seek after my life lay snares; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all the day long.

13 M as yo, como si fuera sordo, no oigo; Y soy como mudo que no abre la boca.

But I, as a deaf, hear not; and am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

14 S oy, pues, como un hombre que no oye, Y en cuya boca no hay reprensiones.

Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

15 P orque en ti, oh Jehová, he esperado; Tú responderás, Jehová Dios mío.

For in thee, Jehovah, do I hope: thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.

16 D ije: No se alegren de mí; Cuando mi pie resbale, no se engrandezcan sobre mí.

For I said, Let them not rejoice over me! When my foot slipped, they magnified against me.

17 P ero yo estoy a punto de caer, Y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente.

For I am ready to halt, and my pain is continually before me.

18 P or tanto, confesaré mi maldad, Y me contristaré por mi pecado.

For I will declare mine iniquity, I am grieved for my sin.

19 P orque mis enemigos están vivos y fuertes, Y se han aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa.

But mine enemies are lively, they are strong; and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied:

20 L os que pagan mal por bien Me son contrarios, por seguir yo lo bueno.

And they that render evil for good are adversaries unto me; because I pursue what is good.

21 N o me desampares, oh Jehová; Dios mío, no te alejes de mí.

Forsake me not, Jehovah; O my God, be not far from me.

22 A presúrate a ayudarme, Oh Señor, mi salvación.

Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.
