1 T oda la congregación de los hijos de Israel se reunió en Silo, y erigieron allí el tabernáculo de reunión, después que la tierra les fue sometida.

And the whole assembly of the children of Israel gathered together at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there; and the land was subdued before them.

2 P ero habían quedado de los hijos de Israel siete tribus a las cuales aún no habían repartido su posesión.

And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes whose inheritance had not been distributed to them.

3 Y Josué dijo a los hijos de Israel: ¿Hasta cuándo seréis negligentes para venir a poseer la tierra que os ha dado Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres?

And Joshua said to the children of Israel, How long will ye shew yourselves slack to go to take possession of the land which Jehovah the God of your fathers hath given you?

4 S eñalad tres varones de cada tribu, para que yo los envíe, y que ellos se levanten y recorran la tierra, y la describan conforme a sus heredades, y vuelvan a mí.

Provide you three men for a tribe; that I may send them, and they shall rise and go through the land, and describe it according to the proportion of their inheritance, and they shall come to me.

5 Y la dividirán en siete partes; y Judá quedará en su territorio al sur, y los de la casa de José en el suyo al norte.

And they shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall remain in their border on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their border on the north;

6 V osotros, pues, delinearéis la tierra en siete partes, y me traeréis la descripción aquí, y yo os echaré suertes aquí delante de Jehová nuestro Dios.

and ye shall describe the land into seven portions, and bring hither to me, and I will cast lots for you here before Jehovah our God.

7 P ero los levitas ninguna parte tienen entre vosotros, porque el sacerdocio de Jehová es la heredad de ellos; Gad también y Rubén, y la media tribu de Manasés, ya han recibido su heredad al otro lado del Jordán al oriente, la cual les dio Moisés siervo de Jehová.

But the Levites have no portion among you, for the priesthood of Jehovah is their inheritance. And Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them.

8 L evantándose, pues, aquellos varones, fueron; y mandó Josué a los que iban para delinear la tierra, diciéndoles: Id, recorred la tierra y delineadla, y volved a mí, para que yo os eche suertes aquí delante de Jehová en Silo.

And the men arose and went away. And Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, and I will cast lots for you here before Jehovah in Shiloh.

9 F ueron, pues, aquellos varones y recorrieron la tierra, delineándola por ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y volvieron a Josué al campamento en Silo.

And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven portions, in a book, and they came to Joshua, to the camp at Shiloh.

10 Y Josué les echó suertes delante de Jehová en Silo; y allí repartió Josué la tierra a los hijos de Israel por sus porciones.

And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Jehovah. And there Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.

11 Y se sacó la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín conforme a sus familias; y el territorio adjudicado a ella quedó entre los hijos de Judá y los hijos de José.

And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. And the territory of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.

12 F ue el límite de ellos al lado del norte desde el Jordán, y sube hacia el lado de Jericó al norte; sube después al monte hacia el occidente, y viene a salir al desierto de Bet-avén.

And their border on the north side was from the Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up to the mountain westward; and ended at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;

13 D e allí pasa en dirección de Luz, al lado sur de Luz (que es Bet-el), y desciende de Atarot-adar al monte que está al sur de Bet-horón la de abajo.

and the border passed on from thence toward Luz, to the south side of Luz, which is Bethel: and the border went down to Ataroth-Addar, near the hill that is on the south of the lower Beth-horon.

14 Y tuerce hacia el oeste por el lado sur del monte que está delante de Bet-horón al sur; y viene a salir a Quiriat-baal (que es Quiriat-jearim), ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este es el lado del occidente.

—And the border reached along and turned on the west side, southward from the hill that is before Beth-horon southward; and ended at Kirjath-Baal, which is Kirjath-jearim, a city of the children of Judah: this is the west side.

15 E l lado del sur es desde el extremo de Quiriat-jearim, y sale al occidente, a la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa;

—And the south side was from the extreme end of Kirjath-jearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.

16 y desciende este límite al extremo del monte que está delante del valle del hijo de Hinom, que está al norte en el valle de Refaim; desciende luego al valle de Hinom, al lado sur del jebuseo, y de allí desciende a la fuente de Rogel.

And the border went down to the end of the mountain that is before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim on the north, and went down the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite on the south, and went down to En-rogel;

17 L uego se inclina hacia el norte y sale a En-semes, y de allí a Gelilot, que está delante de la subida de Adumín, y desciende a la piedra de Bohán hijo de Rubén,

and it reached along on the north, and went forth to En-shemesh, and went forth towards Geliloth, which is opposite to the ascent of Adummim, and went down to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben,

18 y pasa al lado que está enfrente del Arabá, y desciende al Arabá.

and passed along towards the side opposite to Arabah northwards, and went down to Arabah;

19 Y pasa el límite al lado norte de Bet-hogla, y termina en la bahía norte del Mar Salado, a la extremidad sur del Jordán; este es el límite sur.

and the border passed on to the side of Beth-hoglah on the north, and the border ended at the tongue of the salt sea northward, at the south end of the Jordan: this is the southern border.

20 Y el Jordán era el límite al lado del oriente. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín por sus límites alrededor, conforme a sus familias.

—And the Jordan borders it on the east side.—This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, according to its borders round about, according to their families.

21 L as ciudades de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, por sus familias, fueron Jericó, Bet-hogla, el valle de Casis,

And the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were: Jericho, and Beth-hoglah, and Emek-Keziz,

22 B et-arabá, Zemaraim, Bet-el,

and Beth-Arabah, and Zemaraim, and Bethel,

23 A vim, Pará, Ofra,

and Avvim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

24 Q uefar-haamoni, Ofni y Geba; doce ciudades con sus aldeas;

and Chephar-haammonai, and Ophni, and Geba: twelve cities and their hamlets;

25 G abaón, Ramá, Beerot,

Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

26 M izpa, Cafira, Mozah,

and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

27 R equem, Irpeel, Tarala,

and Rekem, and Jirpeel, and Tharalah,

28 Z ela, Elef, Jebús (que es Jerusalén), Gabaa y Quiriat; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín conforme a sus familias.

and Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, that is, Jerusalem, Gibeah, Kirjath: fourteen cities and their hamlets. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
