1 N o a nosotros, oh Jehová, no a nosotros, Sino a tu nombre da gloria, Por tu misericordia, por tu verdad.

Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth's sake.

2 ¿ Por qué han de decir las gentes: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?

Wherefore should the nations say, Where then is their God?

3 N uestro Dios está en los cielos; Todo lo que quiso ha hecho.

But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased.

4 L os ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombres.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands:

5 T ienen boca, mas no hablan; Tienen ojos, mas no ven;

They have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not;

6 O rejas tienen, mas no oyen; Tienen narices, mas no huelen;

They have ears, and they hear not; a nose have they, and they smell not;

7 M anos tienen, mas no palpan; Tienen pies, mas no andan; No hablan con su garganta.

They have hands, and they handle not; feet have they, and they walk not; they give no sound through their throat.

8 S emejantes a ellos son los que los hacen, Y cualquiera que confía en ellos.

They that make them are like unto them,—every one that confideth in them.

9 O h Israel, confía en Jehová; El es tu ayuda y tu escudo.

O Israel, confide thou in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

10 C asa de Aarón, confiad en Jehová; El es vuestra ayuda y vuestro escudo.

House of Aaron, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

11 L os que teméis a Jehová, confiad en Jehová; El es vuestra ayuda y vuestro escudo.

Ye that fear Jehovah, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

12 J ehová se acordó de nosotros; nos bendecirá; Bendecirá a la casa de Israel; Bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.

Jehovah hath been mindful of us: he will bless, he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;

13 B endecirá a los que temen a Jehová, A pequeños y a grandes.

He will bless them that fear Jehovah, both the small and the great.

14 A umentará Jehová bendición sobre vosotros; Sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos.

Jehovah will add unto you more, unto you and unto your children.

15 B enditos vosotros de Jehová, Que hizo los cielos y la tierra.

Ye are blessed of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

16 L os cielos son los cielos de Jehová; Y ha dado la tierra a los hijos de los hombres.

The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 N o alabarán los muertos a JAH, Ni cuantos descienden al silencio;

The dead praise not Jah, neither any that go down into silence;

18 P ero nosotros bendeciremos a JAH Desde ahora y para siempre. Aleluya.

But we will bless Jah from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah!
