1 B ezalel made the special box of the agreement of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits tall.

¶ Hizo también Bezaleel el arca de madera de cedro: su longitud era de dos codos y medio, y de codo y medio su anchura, y su altura de otro codo y medio;

2 H e covered it inside and out with pure gold. And he made a piece of gold to put on it all around.

y la recubrió de oro puro por dentro y por fuera, y le hizo una cornisa de oro alrededor.

3 H e made four rings of gold for it and put them on its four feet. He put two rings on one side of it and two rings on the other side.

Además fundió para ella cuatro anillos de oro a sus cuatro esquinas; en un lado dos anillos y en el otro lado dos anillos.

4 H e made long pieces of acacia wood and covered them with gold.

Hizo también las varas de madera de cedro, y las recubrió de oro.

5 T hen he put the long pieces of wood through the rings on the sides of the special box to carry it.

Y metió las varas por los anillos a los lados del arca, para llevar el arca.

6 H e made a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long, and one and a half cubits wide.

Hizo asimismo el asiento de la reconciliación de oro puro: su longitud de dos codos y medio, y su anchura de codo y medio.

7 H e made two cherubim out of beaten gold at the two ends of the mercy-seat.

Hizo también los dos querubines de oro, los hizo labrados a martillo, a los dos extremos del asiento de la reconciliación:

8 H e made one cherub on one end and one cherub on the other end. He made the cherubim and the mercy-seat of one piece.

Un querubín de este lado al extremo, y el otro querubín al otro lado al extremo del asiento de la reconciliación; hizo los querubines a sus dos extremos.

9 T he cherubim had their wings spread up over the mercy-seat. Their faces were toward each other, and toward the mercy-seat.

Y los querubines extendían sus alas por encima, cubriendo con sus alas el asiento de la reconciliación; y sus rostros el uno enfrente del otro, hacia la cubierta los rostros de los querubines.

10 T hen he made a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and one and a half cubits tall.

¶ Hizo también la mesa de madera de cedro; su longitud de dos codos, y su anchura de un codo, y de codo y medio su altura;

11 H e covered it with pure gold and made a gold piece around it.

y la recubrió de oro puro, y le hizo una cornisa de oro alrededor.

12 H e made a piece around it as wide as a hand. And he put gold on the side of this piece all around.

Le hizo también una moldura alrededor, del ancho de una mano, a la moldura hizo la cornisa de oro en circunferencia.

13 H e made four rings of gold for it. He put them on the four corners that were on the table’s four legs.

Le hizo asimismo de fundición cuatro anillos de oro, y los puso a las cuatro esquinas que correspondían a los cuatro pies de ella.

14 T he rings were close to the sides, to hold the long pieces of wood used to carry the table.

Delante de la moldura estaban los anillos, por los cuales se metían las varas para llevar la mesa.

15 H e made the long pieces of acacia wood and covered them with gold. The table was carried with these.

E hizo las varas de madera de cedro para llevar la mesa, y las recubrió de oro.

16 H e made of pure gold its plates, its pots and its jars, for pouring gifts of drink. Making the Lamp-Stand

También hizo los vasos que habían de estar sobre la mesa, sus platos, y sus cucharas, y sus cubiertos y sus tazones con que se había de cubrir el pan, de oro fino.

17 T hen he made the lamp-stand of pure gold and the base of the lamp-stand of beaten gold. Its cups, its buds and its flowers were all made of one piece with it.

Hizo asimismo el candelero de oro puro, el cual lo hizo labrado a martillo: su pie y su caña, sus copas, sus manzanas y sus flores eran de lo mismo.

18 S ix branches went out of its sides, three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side, and three branches out of its other side.

De sus lados salían seis cañas; tres cañas de un lado del candelero, y otras tres cañas del otro lado del candelero;

19 T hree cups were made to look like almond flowers, each with bud and flower, on one branch, and three on the next branch. This was done for all six branches going out of the lamp-stand.

en una caña había, tres copas figura de almendras, una manzana y una flor; y en la otra caña había tres copas figura de almendras, otra manzana y otra flor; y así en todas las seis cañas que salían del candelero.

20 I n the lamp-stand there were four cups made to look like almond flowers, with their buds and flowers.

Y en el mismo candelero había cuatro copas figura de almendras, sus manzanas y sus flores;

21 A bud was under each of the six branches going out of the lamp-stand.

y una manzana debajo de las dos cañas de lo mismo, y otra manzana debajo de las otras dos cañas de lo mismo, y otra manzana debajo de las otras dos cañas de lo mismo, por las seis cañas que salían de él.

22 T heir buds and their branches were of one piece with it. All of it was one piece of pure, beaten gold.

Sus manzanas y sus cañas eran de lo mismo; todo era una pieza labrada a martillo, de oro puro.

23 H e made its seven lamps, the tools for putting out the light, and its dishes of pure gold.

Hizo asimismo sus siete lámparas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos, de oro puro;

24 H e made it and all its objects out of a piece of gold about half the weight of a man. Making the Altar

de un talento de oro puro lo hizo, con todos sus vasos.

25 T hen he made the altar for burning special perfume of acacia wood. It was one cubit long, one cubit wide, and as high as a man’s waist. Its horns were of one piece with it.

¶ Hizo también el altar del incienso de madera de cedro: un codo su longitud, y otro codo su anchura, era cuadrado; y su altura de dos codos; y sus cuernos de la misma pieza.

26 H e covered its top, all its sides and its horns with pure gold. And he made a piece of gold to go around it.

Y lo recubrió de oro puro, su mesa y sus paredes alrededor, y sus cuernos; y le hizo una cornisa de oro alrededor.

27 T hen he made two gold rings to put under this piece. He put one on the altar’s left side and one on its right side to hold the long pieces of wood used for carrying it.

Le hizo también dos anillos de oro debajo de la cornisa en las dos esquinas a los dos lados, para pasar por ellos las varas con que había de ser llevado.

28 H e made the long pieces of acacia wood and covered them with gold. Making the Holy Oil and Special Perfume

E hizo las varas de madera de cedro, y las recubrió de oro.

29 A nd he made the holy oil for pouring, and the pure, sweet-smelling perfume of spices, the work of an able workman.

Hizo asimismo el aceite de la santa unción, y el fino incienso aromático, de obra de perfumador.
