1 C uando clamo, respóndeme, oh Dios de mi justicia. En la angustia me has aliviado; Ten piedad de mí, escucha mi oración.

When I call, answer me, O God of my righteousness: in pressure thou hast enlarged me; be gracious unto me, and hear my prayer.

2 H ijos de hombres, ¿hasta cuándo cambiarán mi honra en deshonra ? ¿ Hasta cuándo amarán la vanidad y buscarán la mentira ? (Selah)

Ye sons of men, till when is my glory to shame? will ye love vanity, will ye seek after a lie? Selah.

3 S epan, pues, que el Señor ha apartado al piadoso para sí; El Señor oye cuando a El clamo.

But know that Jehovah hath set apart the pious for himself: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him.

4 T iemblen, y no pequen; Mediten en su corazón sobre su lecho, y callen. (Selah)

Be moved with anger, and sin not; meditate in your own hearts upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5 O frezcan sacrificios de justicia, Y confíen en el Señor.

Offer sacrifices of righteousness, and confide in Jehovah.

6 M uchos dicen: “¿Quién nos mostrará el bien ?” ¡Alza, oh Señor, sobre nosotros la luz de Tu rostro!

Many say, Who shall cause us to see good? Lift up upon us the light of thy countenance, O Jehovah.

7 A legría pusiste en mi corazón, Mayor que la de ellos cuando abundan su grano y su vino nuevo.

Thou hast put joy in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their new wine was in abundance.

8 E n paz me acostaré y así también dormiré, Porque sólo Tú, Señor, me haces vivir seguro.

In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; for thou, Jehovah, alone makest me to dwell in safety.
