1 E n cuanto a los dones espirituales, no quiero, hermanos, que sean ignorantes.

But concerning spiritual, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

2 U stedes saben que cuando eran paganos, de una manera u otra eran arrastrados hacia los ídolos mudos.

Ye know that when ye were nations led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.

3 P or tanto, les hago saber que nadie hablando por el Espíritu de Dios, dice: “Jesús es anatema (maldito);” y nadie puede decir: “Jesús es el Señor,” excepto por el Espíritu Santo. Diversidad y Unidad de los Dones

I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in Spirit of God, says, Curse Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in Holy Spirit.

4 A hora bien, hay diversidad de dones, pero el Espíritu es el mismo.

But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;

5 H ay diversidad de ministerios, pero el Señor es el mismo.

and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;

6 Y hay diversidad de operaciones, pero es el mismo Dios el que hace todas las cosas en todos.

and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.

7 P ero a cada uno se le da la manifestación del Espíritu para el bien común.

But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.

8 P ues a uno le es dada palabra de sabiduría por el Espíritu; a otro, palabra de conocimiento según el mismo Espíritu;

For to one, by the Spirit, is given word of wisdom; and to another word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

9 a otro, fe por el mismo Espíritu; a otro, dones de sanidad por el único Espíritu;

and to a different one faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in the same Spirit;

10 a otro, poder de milagros; a otro, profecía; a otro, discernimiento de espíritus; a otro, diversas clases de lenguas, y a otro, interpretación de lenguas.

and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.

11 P ero todas estas cosas las hace uno y el mismo Espíritu, distribuyendo individualmente a cada uno según Su voluntad. La iglesia, Cuerpo de Cristo

But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

12 P orque así como el cuerpo es uno, y tiene muchos miembros, pero, todos los miembros del cuerpo, aunque son muchos, constituyen un solo cuerpo, así también es Cristo.

For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also the Christ.

13 P ues por un mismo Espíritu todos fuimos bautizados en un solo cuerpo, ya Judíos o Griegos, ya esclavos o libres. A todos se nos dio a beber del mismo Espíritu.

For also in one Spirit we have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.

14 P orque el cuerpo no es un solo miembro, sino muchos.

For also the body is not one member but many.

15 S i el pie dijera: “Porque no soy mano, no soy parte del cuerpo,” no por eso deja de ser parte del cuerpo.

If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

16 Y si el oído dijera: “Porque no soy ojo, no soy parte del cuerpo,” no por eso deja de ser parte del cuerpo.

And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

17 S i todo el cuerpo fuera ojo, ¿qué sería del oído? Si todo fuera oído, ¿qué sería del olfato?

If the whole body an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?

18 A hora bien, Dios ha colocado a cada uno de los miembros en el cuerpo según Le agradó.

But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased.

19 Y si todos fueran un solo miembro, ¿qué sería del cuerpo?

But if all were one member, where the body?

20 S in embargo, hay muchos miembros, pero un solo cuerpo.

But now the members many, and the body one.

21 Y el ojo no puede decirle a la mano: “No te necesito;” ni tampoco la cabeza a los pies: “No los necesito.”

The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.

22 P or el contrario, la verdad es que los miembros del cuerpo que parecen ser los más débiles, son los más necesarios;

But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;

23 y las partes del cuerpo que estimamos menos honrosas, a éstas las vestimos con más honra. Así que las partes que consideramos más íntimas, reciben un trato más honroso,

and those of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely have more abundant comeliness;

24 y a que nuestras partes presentables no lo necesitan. Pero así formó Dios el cuerpo, dando mayor honra a la parte que carecía de ella,

but our comely have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that lacked;

25 a fin de que en el cuerpo no haya división, sino que los miembros tengan el mismo cuidado unos por otros.

that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.

26 S i un miembro sufre, todos los miembros sufren con él; y si un miembro es honrado, todos los miembros se regocijan con él.

And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with.

27 A hora bien, ustedes son el cuerpo de Cristo, y cada uno individualmente un miembro de él.

Now ye are Christ's body, and members in particular.

28 Y en la iglesia, Dios ha designado primeramente, apóstoles; en segundo lugar, profetas; en tercer lugar, maestros; luego, milagros; después, dones de sanidad, ayudas, administraciones, diversas clases de lenguas.

And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.

29 ¿ Acaso son todos apóstoles? ¿Acaso son todos profetas? ¿Acaso son todos maestros? ¿Acaso son todos obradores de milagros ?

all apostles? all prophets? all teachers? all miraculous powers?

30 ¿ Acaso tienen todos dones de sanidad ? ¿Acaso hablan todos en lenguas? ¿Acaso interpretan todos ?

have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

31 P ero deseen ardientemente los mejores dones. Y aun yo les muestro un camino más excelente.

But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.
