1 M y son, give attention to my wisdom, Incline your ear to my understanding;

Sean para ti solo, y no para los extraños contigo.

18 L et your fountain be blessed, And rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Será bendito tu manantial; y alégrate de la mujer de tu juventud.

19 A s a loving hind and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; Be exhilarated always with her love.

Como cierva de amores y graciosa gacela, sus pechos te satisfagan en todo tiempo; y en su amor andarás ciego de continuo, sin fijar tus ojos en nadie más.

20 F or why should you, my son, be exhilarated with an adulteress And embrace the bosom of a foreigner?

¿Y por qué, hijo mío, andarás ciego con la ajena, y abrazarás el seno de la extraña?

21 F or the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord, And He watches all his paths.

Pues que los caminos del hombre están ante los ojos del SEÑOR, ¡y él pesa todas sus veredas!

Sus propias iniquidades prenderán al impío, y con las cuerdas de su pecado será detenido.
